Sounds idealistic, and camino IS an idealist, but it's not workable. We are irrevocably intertwined with the rest of the world and, with more people in the US that can be categorized as "recent" immigrants, that's even less likely to happen. However, I like the idea. That's why I talk about Portugal and Uruguay so much...because I would love to hole up in a quiet corner of either of those two countries and just say "f@#k everybody and everything," but I have to work and can't afford that.

I thought that IF, just IF, I was driving through the greater Philadelphia area, I would veer over in whatever rental car I had if YOU bought me dinner at that Romano's Macaroni Grille that came to your town and that you raved out. So, is the offer still good? And, since PCS is the most privileged of the three of us, he should come along. He might offer to pay.

*shrugs* because it's in the Friendly Hills/Colima Rd. area of Whittier, whereas she should be in the flat and decrepit parts of Pico Rivera or Bell Gardens? Just kidding. Seriously, would you think that anyone who has 6 kids (prior to the octuplets) and no career / no significant other would have to wherewithal to manage money? It would be inconsistent with the already 'effed up personality profile.

What kind of gas mileage does the DTS deliver on a full-highway run, such as the one to Edmonton? (Converted into American, not km/liter)? (I love the DTS in Ice Blue Metallic with gray buckets and the base Luxury Group 1, or whatever it's called, has MORE gadgets than I will ever need).
