  6. *palms sweating* Vegas, and its food, sounds great! Mangia, mangia...you ought to know what that means...LOL. I also have my vacations kind of planned by day, with enough "slush" in the schedule to not make it that rigid. Wow, when I crave a domestic trip in North America, it tends to be the Florida Panhandle, the Southeast Atlantic coast or Eastern Canada. Have a great time!
  7. Oatmeal, plain, with cut-up strawberries or packaged cran-raisins or boxed tropical fruit mix Banana Pomegranate or cherry juice (to ward off gout...it's been documented to work) Tea at work during the day, except during summer

  10. + 1 The G8 alludes to *that other car* in spirit. It doesn't take much to figure out it's a Pontiac yet, even standing still, it looks assertive. What a great car the G8 is/was. I saw a base one in silver tonight. Nice.
  11. It's as all their strides "forward" are cancelled by wheel covers as standard. Unbelievable.

  15. Our pets come up every now and then. More people here discuss dogs. I love dogs too. I am indifferent to cats for the most part; however, about 1 year ago when I lived in another neighborhood, there was a cat that practically greeted me outside my car when I pulled up from work and then came and hung out in my living room for about 2 or 3 hours before returning to his owner. He was well-fed. He didn't want food. He had a spot on the sofa he liked and sat there and purred.

  21. Yes, I had amusement park on the brain, thus my delay at checking out this thread, since we all talked roller coasters recently... ...for us residents of the West, Six Flags Magic Mountain can't be beat for thrill rides, either dry or wet. I remember when Magic Mountain (not a Six Flags park) was a big deal when it opened in Valencia, CA in 1971 and its 384 feet Sky Tower could be seen from miles and miles in all directions.

  23. Nice offices. It's cool to have all that brick visible from the workspace. Nah...very well defined wet/dry season here. It hasn't rained for at least 3 months and everything is yellow and brown. We mostly rely on melted snowpack from the Sierras for our water needs.
