  1. Next old car: 1971/1972 Buick Riviera GS OR 1968 Buick Electra 225 convertible Next new car: 2005 Buick Park Avenue Ultra (Bright White Diamond over Taupe) Next interesting sidestep car: 1982/1983 Buick Electra long door hearse
  2. Next step: TIGHT WHIPS CAR CLUB windshield headers, in foot-tall Old English script, of course. Sixty8, If you're really bored later on, hook me up with a better executed version of my sig, but use the phat dubs on my '77 Cutlass too: Rollin' deep on fifteens, son! Reckonize.
  3. Definitely gets MY seal of approval! On behalf of Tight Whips Car Club, I hope you too get many miles and many smiles from your prime example of one of Bill Porter's incredible eggs.
  4. But they have valve covers with Ford logos on them so you're not supposed to know that! So what if the distributor's on the wrong end and the two middle exhaust ports on the headers happen to be siamesed; read the f@#king valve covers! It's a Ford all the way!
  5. I honestly watch it on occasion simply for the fact that I'm impressed he's still alive after doing all the crack he did back when he was with Public Enemy. That and I'm all over that Viking helmet of his; very snazzy.
  6. Aqua/white 1954 Pontiac Star Chief 2-door about an hour and a half ago on the ride home from Sixty8's house!
  7. Orange/brown?! No way! That fine Cutlass Supreme sedan of mine has a wonderful midwestern patina of 30 year-old sun-faded weathered red with a white steel roof. Steel wheels, dog dish hubcaps, and virtually no options, but having the Rocket 350 V8 complete the look and feel of an old fire chief's car. The mileage does too: only 77,000 original. How much did I pay for it, you ask? $230!

    Oh my God...

    This is post 12.
  9. I remember when you got my Coupe stuck at the bottom of the hill; way to go, retard. Shoulda burned rubber for eight more feet and been out!
  10. Just what my '77 Cutlass needs: a nice big AC-delete plate. Looking good under there, dude!
  11. '96 has cassette storage, 97-'99 has CD storage; find yourself a CD storage unit out of a '97-'99 with a taupe bezel and it will fit right in the slot where the slave CD player went; the console stayed the same all five years.
  12. Yeah that rent-a-cop was pretty unenthusiastic about kicking us out. It was basically like yeah I'm only telling you to beat it so I don't get fired. Good times in that little $h!pile. We should do that in your Q45 when you bring it home!
  13. Thatta boy; glad to finally have a fellow owner here on the board! Love to see some pictures when it's finally yours. Oh, and since it's a '95, I'd get an aftermarket radio if I were you if your tunes are important to you since '95 is the only year that has a slave CD player right in front of the cupholders; any short stops the car's had before you bought it may have resulted in it getting a nice big sip of coffee or soda.
  14. What an ugly piece of junk; the stacked double hideaway headlights are priceless! How come the red one has Ferrari Testarossa cheese graters on the side but the black one doesn't?
  15. I remember once I was at the car wash drying off my Riviera and a middle-aged gentleman walked up to me and complimented me on the car, then told me about his friend's father having a 1971 when he was around my age. He then told me that when he and his friend would go out in it they'd beat on it and do burnouts and stuff, and that people used to freak out when they saw all the smoke coming from the front wheel wells. I politely told him that the Riviera wasn't front wheel drive until 1979, but he insisted he vividly remembered he and his friend roasting the front tires off the thing when they were kids. Must've been one of those special ones that came with a Toronado engine and drivetrain in it
  16. That '76 police car is great! My '77 is like the fire chief's car to park beside it. Red with a white steel roof; hubba hubba!
  17. All of the suggestions I've made so far she shoots down because she has $h! taste in cars. Bring something home and tell her to deal with it; who wears the pants, anyways? Oh wait; I remember! *whip crack*
  18. Good, now sell my Coupe DeVille for me! Any bites on that thing yet, by the way?
  19. More importantly, why's there a Crown Victoria in your front yard?!
  20. I like the BIG wagons; find yourself a nice mid 70's Chevrolet Kingswood Estate or something if you want a Chevy.
  21. Wood is good.
  22. Camino: That thing's gorgeous! Just one thing, though; how do they figure it's a LeSabre Estate Wagon? I thought Buick had two wagons in 1970: The smaller Skylark Sport Wagon with a 350 and the big one with the 455 would be an Electra Estate Wagon. I could be wrong, though. Was the 455 even offered in the LeSabre in 1970? Also, if you want a classic wagon, you can't go wrong with a '70-'72 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser! A co-worker of mine also has a neat '65 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon, but good luck trying to find one for yourself!
  23. If you don't get a Roadmaster Estate it had beter be because you've decided on a nice International Harvester Travelall!
  24. Buick Roadmaster Estate, dude. All the way.
  25. Badoom boom chhhh!
