  1. cause Honda couldn't put that together on their own, oh wait they already did on the RSX
  2. further proof GM needs come up w/an original design 1999 TL
  3. umm try again
  4. That's not an incentive, that's a dealer offering the car at or near invoice. Affects dealer profitability not Toyota
  5. I stated that I'd love to see the face of a 330i owner when a V6 Camry hands him his ass. Did it ever occur to you that 50yr old Camry/ES buyers don't want to feel the road?
  6. umm the 330i isn't a lightcar. and actually isn't faster than a heavy ass Avalon 6A 330i http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drive...21/pageId=68302 14.7@96 mph 6MT 330i http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drive...21/pageId=68302 14.7@96 mph http://e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3802 14.8@97 http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=4540 14.5@97 Avalon http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?ar...5&page_number=8 14.6 @ 99 mph http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drive...47/pageId=63250 15.4@96 so basically a lighter 6spd auto Camry will outmuscle a 330i
  7. 275hp 6spd auto, I'd love to see the faces of 330i owners when they get their asses handed to them buy a Camry/ES350
  8. I had a Jeep Cherokee rental. My friend has a 4Runner. Both interiors suck, but the Grand Cherokee's plastics were just terrible. Literally on par w/a trashcan.
  9. a simple intake/exhaust will easily net 400hp on Toyota's new 4.6L V8 fuel economy is expected near the mid 20's in a 4000lb vehicle
  10. new LS makes the GS look like utter trash, better looking than the IS too. MB better hope Toyota screwed up the chassis

    .....

Toyotawill market the new Tundra's build origins insanely. Would'nt be suprised if sales double. With it made in Texas, I can easily see it stealing a few of the Big Three sales. All the Toyota products of late are highly competitive a few are outright class leaders. RAV4 Avalon/Camry IS Yaris LS460 I can easily see Toyota making gains if this product is executed correctly.
  12. ES350 to debut at Chicago, I assume it will look far classier

    IS350 Review

I don't think anyone claims this is a substitute for a 330i at least in the sense of a driver's car, some want more luxury and smoothness, exactly what the IS350 aimed to deliver $35k can get an Evo or WRX that can embarass a 330i anyday in any performance aspect subjective or objective, doesn't make them better vehicles.

  15. http://pressroom.toyota.com/Releases/View?...YT2005112805565 GM - 1,500,000 gallons annually per 1000 buses....380 buses currently Toyota - 100,000,000 gallons saved since yr 2000.
  16. I haven't heard anything about a V6 Supra. The LF-A is probably more an M6 fighter than a true all out performance machine. of course there is this, likely a 4.6L or so. The wheel/tire combo and low ride height clearly indicate its performance intentions
  17. well I'm damn impressed, can't wait to see what the next gen Accord will offer to compete.
  18. I'm glad the old rental Camry is gone.
  19. Yeah, the thing is most Camry oriented buyers don't want to hear the engine. And the Impy's fuel economy can't touch the 3.5L 6spd V6 Camry's. Also stupid shifting (4spd) trannies have no place in the current marketplace.
  20. Exactly what car in the Camry's class has better build quality? Toyota has been downgrading the materials on the current and previous generation Camry, while raising the quality on the ES's. You'll notice the exact same thing w/the 4runner. Now that the GX470 is out, the current 4runner's interior sucks. Honda did the same thing with the current Accord. Family has owned both generations of Accords. And I've had plenty of drive time in both TL's. The old Accord had far better materials, and the new TL blows the previous TL away.
