  1. Amen AH-HA. You'd think we were on the Toyota message boards from the responses we're getting from people here. This is the one of the best GM products to come out in over a decade and it's not good enough for them. Fine. Be bitter. I don't care. It's getting to the point where I'm not enjoying coming to this website anymore. People are being too bitchy. If I want to hear someone complain about GM, I'd go to Autoweek or Autoblog. The fact remains that the new Escalade is a great vehicle. Much better than the current one, and I like the current Escalade. It's moving upscale and providing a more universal look to the A&S theme. If you guys don't like change, go buy a Toyota or a Hyundai. Their cars are all formed from the same dull piece of clay. You won't be dissapointed with each new model since it will look the same as the last model.
  2. There was a tornado warning in the county just south of mine around 5pm tonight. They still don't know if one touched down or not.
  3. I almost forgot about this. For those who didn't see it when they first were shown on the website, this is what the Ion should look like. So I guess this is just pointless. new Saturn Ion
  4. And they have the lowest gas mileage of any vehicles on the road today.
  5. You've obviously haven't been here long enough to know what the issue is. Don't worry. You will eventually.
  6. I've seen the sedan a couple of times already in my area especially on the weekend when the Canadians come over the border to go shopping. It's very unusual to see it in person. I'm still debating whether it looks good or not since the grill looks like it's tacked on. The coupe on the other hand looks a bit more original. Thank God for that. Congrats on your purchase Aurum!
  7. It is updated. I must say, I see it in person everyday and it looks nice. My father is lucky enough to have it as a company car. The front and rear of the car have been updated giving the TB a more refined look. Having said that, it still looks like the same car but there are some small changes that make it look a little better. The interior is exactly the same as previous years.
  8. Did you just respond to a quote of yourself? hmmm.... Anyway. The difference between Chevy and Ford is that Chevy has more new and up to date vehicles when compared to Ford. The only "new" products they have are the Fusion, 500, Freestyle, and Mustang. The Mustang and Fusion are the only vehicles actually selling. The rest of the brand consists of one compact car, one minivan and two small volume niche vehicles. Ford gets the bulk of it's sales from it's Trucks and SUVs just like Chevy, but they didn't fill out the car line and it's really hurting them with the new gas crunch. They still don't offer a sub-compact car in the US, and the Focus is becoming increasingly outdated in comparison to it's competitors. The Fusion will help a bit, but it's one car for the brand. Ford needs a multi-vehicle assault on the market to keep from sinking. I'll give Ford thumbs up for developing the Escape Hybrid, but typical Toyota, they take all the credit for having Hybrids.
  9. I also agree. On top of that, If a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, which is an older vehicle can have adjustable pedals, why not a brand new Buick?
  10. Wow. You are so negative. You have no idea what the Silverado looks like or tows and you're already waving the white flag for GM. Shouldn't you go on the Autoweek forums to do that?
  11. So now Buick is going to name their cars after milk products (Lucerne) and cheap motels? (Super 8) I can't wait for the 2009 Buick FedEx-Kinkos sedan!
  12. Oh great! Another Toyota hybrid that will get well below stated fuel-economy which in turn, will be the fault of the people buying the truck according to Toyota's PR. Horray for the environment!!!!!!!
  13. You can't make that judgement from only seeing part of the car. The rest is covered so you can't completely see what the side looks like. Also, I don't know where you've been but for months now, we knew that 'slade was getting different doors and different sheetmetal in front of the A-pillar and behind the C-pillar. The interior is also is completely different from the Tahoe and Yukon and we've seen a bit of what it looks like and I completely agree with that statement.
  14. I think it looks good from what we can see. Much more upscale then the current one.
  15. I wonder why there is so much hype for the upcoming Camaro being at the auto shows when there is no definitive proof there is one. I remember someone here saying they were working on the clay model very recently. Unless they want to surprise everyone like Lutz did in creating Solstice concept in record time, I agree with AH-HA in guessing that the Camaro will not show up this year. They wouldn't want to disappoint anyone so they'll give it time.
  16. Maybe New York since there are no spy shots of it on the net. I'm assuming that the GMC and Saturn versions will come first and seperately at the LA auto show and the NAIAS to leave the best (Enclave) for last in NY. They probably want to shock everyone and being the last of the X-Overs, it will be more memorable.
  17. Link doesn't work anymore.
  18. Interior seen on the old Sky concept from a few years back. This is the direction of the Saturn brand before they switched gears and aimed at VW. You can tell that the Ion was the beginning of the transition. I'm glad they didn't make this. It would've been too quirky for me to handle.
  19. Neither do I but I think it's a positive cartoon. Maybe.
  20. How can you tell it's the same? Besides.. if it works well the first time, why not bother repeating it?
  21. Guys. It's going to be unveiled on the 11th. We found that out a couple of days ago.
  22. It was a portion of it. Looks spectacular from what I've seen.
  23. Damn! I will seriously hurt the person who made up the rumor that the Escalade was premiering tomorrow!
  24. The only purpose for GM to deny the reports is to create more buzz about the future of the vehicle. Of course they're going to make one.
  25. The 9-5 shows how much potential Saab still has. The 9-5 is still based on an older platform and yet it is an awesome car. GM just needs to really step up and give the brand more money to develop exciting vehicles. Saab deserves its own renaissance.
