  1. Seeing how Saturn wasn't even planning to go in that direction at the time the G6 came out and up until now, the progress of the Aura looks to be very good and very quick. Much faster then previous cars and it will look exactly like the Aura concept. Unlike the G6 which looks nothing like the G6 concept.
  2. Toyota is up to something and it doesn't look good.
  3. If GM was smart, they wouldn't aim this at baby boomers but to the next generation of car buyers which will be much larger in size. Gen Y will start to bring more income in by the end of the decade and will be able to afford more expensive cars. That's just a prediction.
  4. Thanks for clearing that up Northstar. jbartley. The BLS in Europe is based on the FWD 9-3 and it drives pretty well. The BRX will probably have all-time AWD to compete with the upcoming small lux utes from Mercedes, Infiniti, and a couple other brands so there's nothing to worry about.
  5. The last thing Buick needs is more models. They need to work on the cars they already have. I thought Buick was going to have a very small amount of vehicles in it's stable.
  6. I hope this information is accurate. That would be sooo sweet! Just imagine what GM could do with it. Since Kappa platform is very similar to the C6, I assume similar engine upgrades would be in the works if the Camaro went into production. Ford would have a really hard time trying to stay ahead of chevy.
  7. He was talking about the Cama...omile. It's a new car based on herbal medicines that creates a soothing effect when driven. It's really quite relaxing. I'm very impressed Josh. Taking the site to the next level. I just hope there are no technical difficulties which happen to the best. I wish I could go and be a part of the action but I'll be starting my Spring Semester around the same time. Damn education!
  8. I don't like country. Never did. Never will. It's just not my thing.
  9. Wait. I thought Epsilon was mid-size? why would they give two different platforms the same name.
  10. Very bad sketch. Looks like something a 4th grader would draw. I doubt they would do this. It looks more like a Dodge Caliber then anything. From what I had read, the BRX was to be based off the Epsilon II platform. I think that would've been a wiser choice on GM's part. I think Theta is too truck-like.
  11. Now. I wouldn't go that far. Interesting. What does he suggest GM to do instead of closing plants? Absolutely nothing. He just whines and complains and pretends to care about blue collar workers and offers no solution to GM's problems. That's because he has no clue what he's talking about. He's a joke. Michael Moore pretends to care about the people that he makes his "Documentaries" about but all he does care about is making a name for himself and making money to feed his fat face. He does not care about this country. He cares about himself.
  12. What will happen is that the Ion will probably be built along side the Cobalt or the HHR since they're on the same exact platform and will no longer be using dent-resistant body panels. From the artist renderings, it looks like the Ion may be the first real challenge to the Mazda 3.

It's not going to matter. The show won't be returning next season so it's best if you assume that no one will watch this.
  14. Yes, but what about the upcoming crossover SUVs? I know GMC is only getting one, but it would be very redundant for the brand to have two SUVs around the same size and possibly the same price. If they phase out the Envoy, where would that leave the TB. I don't think GM is going to want to keep building the Trailblazer and just the Trailblazer. Also, with the Rainier being phased out and the 9-7x eventually being replaced by a Saab crossover, the GMT360's future looks grim. GM needs to get it's S&#@ together and fast. I don't care if GM won't be #1 anymore. I just want the company to still be here and turning a profit in ten years.
  15. Well, I think they want to focus more in the warmer states where they don't do too well but it sucks ass for us people in the North and in Canada. GM needs to make this a priority for Pontiac. I don't see any other interesting products (sans the G6 hardtop which should've come out with the coupe) coming out for the brand this coming year unless GM has a surprise up it's sleeves. But I doubt it.
  16. I wonder what will happen to the Trailblazer and the Envoy now that OKC is shutting down? Is GM going to start phasing these two out? It might be a good decision in the long run since popularity of Body on Frame SUVs (especially midsize) is fading away. Ford saw it and made a good move to reduce the production of the new Explorer. GM is doing the same.
  17. The way things are going, VW will be in worse shape than GM in the next couple of years. That's saying a lot. There is a reason why the Phaeton is no longer going to be a part of the US market. No one wants to spend over $50,000+ on a VW sedan that offers nothing new to the segment and lacks style and quality. This coupe will be an even bigger failure because VW will make it way overpriced and it will look like every other car on the market. I still, to this day can't understand what the deal is with VW. Why are they sending the brand upmarket? I thought that is what Audi was for. Now they're creating sedans and SUVs with very little price difference and styling. Then they completely alienate VW Golf and Jetta buyers by turning them into chromed-up Corollas. Are they smoking crack? VW has always been perceived as the economy German brand. Why can't they keep that philosophy?
  18. Although I think this move is going to be bad for the workers, it will benefit GM in the end. The S&P dropped GM into junk status because not only was it losing money due to poor product but because they had too many factories and were spending too much money on them. The junk status is supposed to get GM to start cutting off the fat more aggressively and try to turn a profit.
  19. Actually, it's competing against the new Yaris which offers a lot for the sub-compact market.
  20. No thank you for me. Though, the fact that now Dodge has an all-american 2-door musclecar and GM still doesn't is heartbreaking. Hurry up with that Camaro GM. You can't afford to be behind any longer.
  21. In response to Empowah's first post: Last time I checked, it was based off the Honda Pilot which was essentially an Odyssey with a higher suspension. Prove me wrong.
  22. Well, my area has already seen over 1 ft. of snow though, not my exact town. I had about 2 inches of snow on the ground yesterday. Today it's melted completely.
  23. It sits on a FWD minivan platform that has AWD capabilities. It doesn't have optional 2WD and it only has one engine choice - a V6. On top of that, it only has one body style offering no choice to the consumer. This is a poor excuse for a truck.
  24. Wow.... just. wow. Someone got into Uncle Lutz's batch of pot brownies again. I think it's funny and it certainly is memorable.. but for all the wrong reasons.
  25. Yeah... I read about that about a month ago. I think we might be seeing some drastic changes very soon and not for the better.
