The interior looks very toyota-ish which is very good! Even in black it looks amazing. This will definately hold back the Yaris because it doesn't have that funky exterior or interior styling. The radio in the car is nice too. It's a little different then the new GM radio in terms of set-up but it's still looking very high quality. The hatch will probably be awesome and GM would be wise to bring the 3 door version here as well. It's official! GM buying Daewoo was one of the best decisions the company has ever made!!!

That's the smell of desire.

Already have XM so I feel bad I won't be able to listen. Hopefully, GM will start to offer Sirius in their vehicles too like Toyota does but seeing how GM is a major shareholder in XM, I doubt it.

AI was crap. Lord of the Rings wasn't. It's one of the greatest trilogies of all time.
-
GM needs to build it here so I can buy it! That's a sweet-ass car.
-
I've been in the G6 coupe and the G6 sedan and the coupe is far more exiting to drive and look at.
-
It will be but it will still look very much like the Aura concept. GM isn't going to botch this car up translating this to production version like they did with the G6.
-
Correct. The next malibu will be on the new Epsilon platform which will be a bit larger then the current one and will able to support AWD as an option unlike the current one. Also, it will be created so that could be built easily in any plant across the world that also is building a car based off the Epsilon II platform. So if GM needs more vehicles to keep up with demand or the US factory is damaged.. they can just build the Bu overseas and ship it here.. or vice versa.

I want Santa to send z28luvr01 a girl. The ones on the street are pretty cheap though so maybe I can get you one. Do you want one with cigarette burns or stretch marks? I don't know what I want. For the past couple of years I've been like that. I'll take whatever people give me. I really have no desire for anything. I don't care having someone spend $400 dollars on a new XBOX360 which has been having some early glitch problems and will be reduced in price anyway by the time PS3 comes out. I think I'll want it next year instead for one. I recieved an iPod mini last year.. although Steve Jobs is saying that mine is already obsolete and that I have to buy the new one in order to live properly. But I'll wait to get a new one when my current one stops working. I already have a car... it's only a year old and I have had no problems a new bookbag would be nice.

Make the western part of NY state that dark dark red color. That would be a little more accurate.

Now if only GM made more of it's vehicles as unique as this. Not ugly..but unique.

While I will admit that the interior looks pretty good. The exterior is just blah... Toyota's got some serious balls to keep selling this kind of crap to Americans. The rest of us will figure out their plan to brainwash people to buy boring cars all because that have good quality. Styling should be king. Cars actually used to look good at one time in our history. Now.. they all look the same. I like it when cars look attractive. If that doesn't make me a car guy.. then may I and any intelligent person on this board burn in hell for thinking that.

It's weird. In some cases.. GM really excells and in others... GM is horrible. Take Cadillac: The brand is really going somewhere. The brand has really taken off since the Escalade and CTS. It's still not class-leading but seeing how uncompetitive the brand was just six years ago, Caddy has come a long way. The interiors are getting better too. I think the new Escalade interior, although some may not agree, looks amazing. Corvette: class leading since you get all that power and style for a fraction of it's competitors. Interior needs some real work though. Chevy: Needs more attractive vehicles, higher quality vehicles. Impala is a good start but it has as much flavor as a Starbucks Latte............. which is not a lot. The Cobalt is a million times better then the Cavalier but compared to the rest of the competition, it's nowhere near class leading. The Malibu is..... well... let's just say that the 08 malibu can't come soon enough. Having said that.. I've driven in the Malibu Maxx many times and it's a pretty good car but in order to make people buy it instead of a Camry or an Accord, it needs a serious style infusion and an amazing interior. Monte Carlo can just die. HHR can use a new Chevy-style nose in a few years to get me to want to buy one. It's better then the PT.. but then again.. so is everything else. the new Full-sizers are going to be really nice - class leading... maybe until Toyota tries again.. hopefully even when Toyota comes to the party... The TB and Colorado need serious revamps... and soon because they are certainly falling to the bottom of the class. Pontiac needs more products like the Solstice and less products like the Torrent, the Montana SV6, and the G6 sedan.(the coupe and convertable are pretty sweet) Those products are by far not class-leading. GMC's products have always been good but I can buy a chevy for a lower price. GMC needs to make unique trucks for once. The new Yukon is still too similar to the Tahoe. I'm not opposed to getting rid of the brand. Saturn's future looks good and quality may be on the increase. but if the Evoke is delayed or shelved, it might be the first big roadblock to the brand's recovery. Buick... well... Buick might be the least likely to survive after all is said and done. Quality is very high.. but the sales don't reflect that.

Oh wow. That's so dissapointing. It's scary when Lexus can make more attractive vehicles then Mercedes. Even more so when Hyundai designs are getting up there too. A word of advice to Mercedes: Your loyal customers aren't going to stay around forever when you take away any sort of style from your cars. You're also going to lose people who aspire to drive a Mercedes. Look what happened to Cadillac. Now GMs working overtime to try to get people to buy their cars again. Since your quality and reliability isn't really up there and people are starting to notice that, styling is all you have these days.

If you didn't already.Check your PM. I sent you something earlier today.

New York has the two plate rule. One of the many aspects of our lives that New York has a tight grip on. The government taxes the hell out of us everywhere we go.. and yet.. we'll never see our money again. NYC will but that's 6 hours away.
-
Since this isn't a competition based on looks, The Civic and Ridgeline will probably take the cake.
-
I've gotta tell you guys. I sat in a Lacrosse not too long ago. I wasn't impressed. Sure, it looked nice from the pictures but when you actually get into the car, it looks quite boring and cheap. Buick can do much better.
-
I think they're trying to immitate Ferrari. It's just a cool coincidence that the Cobalt coupe just happens to have the same styling. It probably would make a nice Cobalt hatchback but I think the HHR already serves that purpose in a way.
-
I think it would be too soon to start piling on extra models especially ones that wouldn't really sell in the US. Buick needs to focus on one model at a time. Besides.. having a wagon, convertable or a coupe on a large, somewhat outdated FWD chasis would be really weird and it probably wouldn't sell. If Zeta comes along soon, we may see more then one variant of one car model but not now.
-
Maybe Kelly Bluebook will have it.
-
Aura is Epsilon I and it's on the extended wheelbase used by the Pontiac G6 and the Malibu Maxx. The 2nd generation Aura will be Epsilon II.
-
I can read it now: " Another reason why Detroit should be worried" That's the headline all the automags will give this car when it arrives even with the fact that it's a giant sedative on wheels. It will be described as "revolutionary" and "market shattering" when in reality, it brings absolutely nothing new to the market.
-
I hope you don't find this as a rude question but why do you find them so annoying? I personally like them. There's a reason why automakers are making them standard on new vehicles. They're there to make people notice other cars more during the daytime. They really help.
