Guys... are we really complaining about door handles? anyway... Wow.. it looks really close to the ground. It also appears to not look too much like the concept car we saw in the 60 minutes special. ( headlights mostly) but the rear end seems very short. Very similar to what was shown in the interview. Though.. other then that.. can't predict much. The profile looks really hot. I hope that GM really hits this one out of the park and finally create a car that outclasses the G35/ 3 Series. oh.. something I did find. Look at how the door handle of the concept and of the test-car look alike.. Gives me hope. I just hope GM doesn't use it's new standard radio controls for it. ugh

I drove the new model just yesterday. I cannot say that I like it. Not only does it suffer from being the "white trash" car of America, it's also one of the chintziest and ugliest vehicles GM is currently making with the exception of the Colorado and Aveo (yet, both vehicles were heavily engineered by Izuzu and Daewoo) When I closed the door, It sounded like I was hitting two pieces of tin together. Not pleasant. The interior looked okay.. but the radio was too low and the odd shapes of the dash make it look like the pieces don't fit together. Finally, it isn't very fun to drive. I was in the V8 model and my 4 cylinder Grand Am is much more sporty. Sorry.. but it was a miss for me.

I'm so glad I live in Buffalo. No.. seriously.. It's going to be 75 today and sunny all week. I feel an early summer coming this year. Lake Erie never froze this winter and global warming is in full swing! WOOO HOOO!!! With the exception of the current weather.. buffalo sucks.

Love the interior.. hate the new exterior. I thought the Maxima look for new Nissans was going away. I guess I was wrong.

I agree. The Aura Radio/HVAC control area needs either a piano black finish or at least a color that matches the rest of the interior. How much more expensive could it possibly be to add a different color to that area? I really think it's time for GM to start designing it's own equipment for each vehicle it makes so everything matches.

Looks good. I can see similarities w/the enclave in the interior especially with the center stack. Just the lower portion of it though. Good job GM!

I see it too. I think just because this is a pre-production mock-up.. not everything is ready. But damn.. these are press pictures! Oh.. and I hate GM for using the same black HVAC/radio controls! Damn you!! I didn't think they would do it, but they made the rear-end look more like the G6. Not liking that.

Zafira would compete directly with the Mazda5.

It's most likely the shell. Nissan wouldn't sell it here since it looks too close to the Infiniti M45. Hell, it's practically the same vehicle with a different front and back end clip and interior.

..... Getting.. back on topic. I picked product overlap. Fortunately, it seems as though that issue is being taken care of, albeit very slowly. The minivans, the torrent, the upcoming G5, and all of GMC(light trucks) can go. What's the point of having a $55,000 Tahoe with Yukon badges when you can get an Escalade for just a little bit more? GMC can survive but only as commercial.

Hmm...I'm getting a strong VW vibe from seeing the production Aura. That's not really a good thing. And for some reason, the new wider chrome strip on the grill reminds me of the new Camry. Also.. not a good thing. Kind of looks like very other vehicle on the road now. Damn it GM! I thought the production was going to keep 90% of the style that the concept had. Seeing that picture.. it looks more like a cool 81% I'll still wait to see the full product before I make a final decision.

Okay.. time to kick the troll off the site. He just doesn't get it. We don't want to hear his "down with Rick" rants anymore. The problems with GM go back long before him and I do believe Wagoner will turn the company around. That's not the point.. the problem is his attitude and his blatant desire to get people pissed off when he posts.

Do you really expect them to be honest or in favor of Buick? I’m not. All they are doing is baiting GM in hopes the company will make another big stink about it and they can get national attention again. A desperate move to stay in the spotlight. They need to face the music; print news is going to be dead in about 10 years. They are trying hard to stay relevant when people can get the days news the way they want it on the Internet.

It's interesting that Lutz wanted to go back in that direction. I know he didn't like the A&S designs that the Cadillacs were taking on. He wanted elegant, flowing designs.. that's why we got the Sixteen concept. Though, I think he probably started to realize that the sharp angles were actually getting customers in the showroom. So he made a compromise. Well.. that's what it looks like.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the word on quality at Buick is getting out. Or maybe most of the sales are fleet. I hope not.

Miss for me. It's more tacky then anything. I wouldn't want to be caught dead in it. Now, if it was the coupe with all the regular trim on it, then I'd buy it.

I assume he made a joke. Cadillac doesn't have a FWD 6 speed because none of the vehicles are FWD with the exception of the DTS.. which still only has a 4 speed.

I don't know. I have a feeling that this will be the "blah" model. GMC isn't really a stylish brand. I don't think this will be too.
