  1. Well... GM in China would be a better comparison.
  2. I can't believe how much better this looks! Excellent job Lutz and all the designers who contributed to this interior.
  3. It looks good (equinox). Really good. So does the new SRX interior. Woo hooo!!
  4. Booooorrrring. The interior is probably the worst part of the LaCrosse. That's the first thing they should change.

    Yay

Even if a Hurricane did hit it, it wouldn't be very powerful since the state is land locked almost entirely from water except for a small stretch on Lake Erie. Last time I checked, Lake Erie hasn't produced any Hurricanes.
  6. They're not magic mormon underpants. Try doing a little research before typing. Let's try being just a little respectful toward other religions and their practices and beliefs.. even if you don't agree with them. No. I'm not mormon. But I'm also not ignorant. Time to close this thread.

Hmm.. I'm on the fence with this one. At certain angles it looks alright.
  8. I just hope GM doesn't start sorting through the alphabet to find new names for the RWD Buicks. Just imagine driving a Buick SD7RWK75 RWD 4DR SC! Wow. Just rolls off the tongue.
  9. The truth should come out now! Wagoner crucified Jesus!! He then created the Atom bomb and will eventually help the evil robots rise to power to crush all human scum.
  10. Still.. I'd rather not have two. No reason other then keeping costs down.
  11. Don't joke. At this rate.. it might actually happen. I don't understand. I thought that GMC and Buick were supposed to compliment one another. How is adding more models to an already large range of vehicles supposed to work when you have to share the same dealership with two other brands? Chevy should only recieve the minivan. GM should devote all of it's money to it and make it class-leading and unique in it's segment. Something that the company can do with the right amount of money. No more crappy rebadging. Either you make the GMC vehicles unique or you drop it. GMC still sells pretty well but as you can tell, their adding more non-SUV models in an attempt to keep sales from dropping dramatically due to rising gas prices. They should phase out the brand or at least produce industrial vehicles. Leave Chevy to the trucks and SUVs... and now minivans.
  12. I actually think having Peugots and Citroens on the road would be a hazard to other drivers. That would be a lot of broken down cars pushed to the side. I'm sure their parts would be scattered all over the place too.
  13. I highly doubt that. How could GM already be giving a new look to the Yukon? It just came out. A revision of the front end would cost a lot of money. Something GM is in dire need of.

But then again... people don't buy the Camry for it's looks. They buy it because of the quality. Thankfully, GM is starting to get it's quality in order and now need bold designs to get people to see that they don't build crappy cars anymore.
  15. It's a good thing I blocked his posts. I'm sure I would've lost brain cells. I suggest anyone looking to keep brain mass do the same.
  16. This is another example of GM surrendering to its whiney dealers. Chevy does not need any more SUVs and GM does not need any more rebadges.
  17. The headlights and grille look very much like they would fit perfectly on a Honda Pilot yet it's very similar to the Outlook too.
  18. And the Toyota Prius is supposed to get over 60 mpg. So much for Toyota making promises.
  19. The one band I've been listening to a lot in the past few days is Sigur Rós, an Icelandic band that has been slowly gaining popularity around the globe and in the US. No, I can't understand a word that they are saying yet, their music is some of the most interesting stuff you'll hear and they certainly kick ass. Tragically Hip is pretty good too. My brother loves them. He has every single one of their albums and he's gone to a few of thier shows. Kingston, ON should be proud. I'm not liking Goo Goo Dolls. I don't care if their from my hometown. They keep playing that damn song off their new album on the radio over and over again and I just want to scream.

Okay children. Stop bickering and get back on topic. I'm having a tough time with this one trying to figure out what platform this could be on. I'd need to see more photos to make sure. I'm kind of surprised that we would see an Impala prototype before the new Malibu so I'm more inclined to believe that this is the next generation 'bu on the Ep II platform. We all know the Epsilon II platform is growing in size so that might explain why this seems too large for a Malibu. I don't know.. this is really difficult. I'll be losing a lot of sleep over it. I'm sure. Whatever it is, it looks really attractive and refined for a Chevy and I applaud GM for really putting an effort into it's bread and butter sedans for once. Not only does it look good but it looks unique, especially with it's giant Chevy crossbar. One thing's for sure, people won't be mistaking this for an Accord or a Camry on the road.
  21. Someone is totally going to be fired for this. To have it exposed like that is just inexcusable. Unless... GM staged these “spy shots” to create more buzz. Though, I highly doubt that. That being said. Both vehicles are extremely hot and our Aussie friends will, without a doubt, gobble them up when they come out. Just hope they aren't scared off by high fuel prices.
  22. Damn! Kingston isn't too far from one of the buisiest border crossings between the US and Canada. Right in the heart of the 1000 Islands region. This has to be stopped.
  23. Well, if you'd like rolling around the front seat of your car then a Bench is for you. Bucket seats and a center console for me. Bench seats don't say sporty to me. They say family. No thank you.
  24. Well.. the fact that they have close ties with the US and the fact that it's a Western nation. Pretty scary. I would assume that Toronto wasn't the only target. Niagara Falls is about an hour south and it produces a lot of electricity for both Ontario and the Northern US. Fortunately, security at both power projects is extremely tight.
  25. Funny you should say that. Most of the CSVs (especially the Montana SV6) I see driving on the road here have Ontario plates. The Uplander is doing pretty poorly here and Chevy is #1 in this region. I guess people know crap when they see it.
