  1. and you know that how? got any facts to back it up?
  2. perhaps, but if they sell all they plan to build or can build then presumably they make some money.
  3. not when i was there on saturday. they had a white one on a spining platform. they also had all 3 in black on a platform that was angled at 15 degrees or something.
  4. impala LT or LTZ
  5. that's cause the DTS is new and the STS is yesterday's news.
  6. a good read. and when you read the C&D article last month you realize that if you want the best car in this class as a daily driver then the STS-V is your car.
  7. an interesting question if GM had the ability to re-align the dealer structure. unfortunately, such is not the case. but with so many brands and so many dealers it's a tough one to deal with at this moment.
  8. i assume the 97.5 regalgs comment was made towards me? sorry, was at NAIAS on weekend, just getting back to C&G. yes, it does have some mods, but none that i made myself - 1. resonator is starting to leak so the car has a wonderful Pontiac throaty sound now. 2. one of the metal connectors on the muffler used to hold it up has rusted off so it's hanging precariously (now that the metal strap I had used to hold it up has rusted off). 3. - small oil leak around the head gasket so get some wonderful smells sometimes 4. picked up a weird vibration in the front end that doesn't seem to be tire related. i'd guess somewhere in the suspension, but not really sure. 5. the cassette deck doesn't work and there is no CD player other than that, it is compeley stock!!!
  9. ummm, but haven't you noticed that this whole board is treated like a playground, no matter what the thread/topic du jour.
  10. i think Fleetwood Touring Sedan. XTS just doesn't look right
  11. after 2 yrs XTS still not sitting well with me. I still prefer FTS. don't no why.
  12. no. they will be of lamba and look more like the crossovers with sliding doors. and GMC will get one so that the P-B-G dealers have a minivan to sell.
  13. thanks for keeping track of my counter!! unfortunately, i fell asleep before the 3rd coming.
  14. who give's a hoot whether it's bof or ub. if the car is the size you want, driving the wheels you want, looks good on the inside and outside and performs the way you want does the underlying components really matter all that much?
  15. what platform would said model be built from? seems to me that only short term possiblity is Ep2 with AWD.
  16. so that's my question, and maybe we'll see more when the Acadia/Outlook are revealed. What options are avail. for the seats to fold flat and/or be removed?

    IS350 Review

because that is the 'old' M3 vs the 'new' IS. wait til the 'new IS V8' runs against the 'new' M3 V8 and then we'll see what happens.
  18. so you're saying the BLS should come to the USA and also be available in a coupe as well?? cause if you're NOT saying that, then I'm not sure what platform said vehicles would be build from.
  19. why do you always have to rain on everyone else's parade with facts and good business sense. B) B)
  20. um, haven't had time to actually read all the press on the Enclave. do ANY of the 2nd and 3rd row seats fold flat or are they removeable?
  21. www.autoshow.ca feb 17 - 26th.... it's late this year. i'm going and don't think there will be anything new, except perhaps the new Epica that was shown in a spy picture a week or so ago. (in canada, there is a Chevy Epica which is a Suzuki something or other - made by daewoo). actually, any 2005 NAIAS concepts that were not in Toronto last year tend to show up here a year later (Cien and Sixteen were here 14 months after Detroit)
  22. chevy would sell more camaros than pontiac would sell firebirds. chevy is already strong, and needs to be even moreso to remain GM's bread and butter brand. Pontiac is becoming a sub-brand of P-B-G and needs fewer models.
  23. i think we're on the same page. and you're bang on, GM's dealer network is too large to support their dwindling sales volumes. fewer dealers are required, at least in GTA - can't speak to rest of the country, or USA.
  24. i'd suggest maybe gen2 kappa for caddy too may other priorities for cadillac and GM
