  1. No, because I near choked to death after seeing the engine swap process. You're actually serious? Dude, you didn't want to repair your V6's problems, and you want to attempt this?! It'd be a complete circus. Repair your Camaro, sell it, and buy the proverbial white Accord.
  2. I better slam Mr. Orville Redenbacher into the microwave.
  3. They can't build the Equinox fast enough to meet demand. Obviously people totally care about how 'slow' the vehicle is. Problem is, the Honda CRV is even more gutless than the Equinox, and yet it sells by the boatload. All this talk of power being a determinant factor for vehicles like the Cruze and Equinox is sheer bupkis. Reviewers are notorious for wanting to drive everything like a Subaru WRX; regular people don't typically drive the way reviewers do.

  6. Oh wait it's yours? My bad, you've had so many I kinda got lost for a moment. And you didn't specify the coolant/oil mixture problem? Yeah, if the buyer finds out about it, it won't just be Adobe Photoshop bills you'll be worrying about.
  7. Your luck with sub-5000 dollar cars is pretty much 0-9001.
  8. Of course there were no complaints. Autoweek realizes this is an economy car, and 0-60 times are really not a priority for their its intended customer-base. Only a grand total of three people in North America care about the Cruze's acceleration.
  9. lol! I've never concerned myself with other people's hygiene. That's what Purell, and soap is for. I sneeze into my elbow, thank you very much.
  10. The 'Knuckle-Knock.' We're gentlemen, let's shake hands when getting acquainted. Try to Bro-fist me, and I leave you hanging ice cold, pal.

  13. It better go faster than a Cruze, because it sure as hell looks way too awkward and dorky when parked.

  16. Chevrolet Aveo Concept In early 2009, General Motors announced it would be putting all high-performance vehicle projects on indefinite hold, citing that the engineering team responsible for these power-happy cars would be moved to different areas within the company. Since then, the only new performance models to come out of GM have been the CTS-V Coupe and Sport Wagon, leaving a huge void in the General's affordable small performance portfolio. The Chevrolet Cobalt SS and HHR SS were discontinued, and the demise of Pontiac and Saturn did away with any GXP and Red Line products. However, all of this may change in the not-too-distant future. Automotive News reports that Jim Campbell, GM's vice president of performance vehicles and motorsports, has said his company has a tremendous opportunity for new performance entries in the small and compact car markets. This means we should expect higher-output versions of the new Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the upcoming redesigned Aveo - and not just trims that look quick, but go quick too. We already got a taste of a hotter Aveo in concept form (pictured), and we certainly wouldn't mind a more enthusiastic Cruze, especially since GM still has that 260-horsepower 2.0-liter Ecotec turbocharged four-cylinder engine laying around. We certainly didn't hate the Cobalt SS (far from it), and we think this mill could do wonders in the larger Cruze. What's your vision of the next small performance car from GM? Let us know in the comments. Source: Autoblog

  19. I'm looking at that option, but right now, there's no AM3 (DDR3 support) board on my local Craigslist. I don't want to be out more money than I have to. If I was desperate enough, I can use the media system in my living-room with a AMD 5000+ and 2GB of RAM, but then that'd just make the 470 jump back into the box and return itself when I'm asleep. So, time to find some games for the netbook.
  20. Exploded 'may' be a slight exaggeration, but I think something went bust in the PCIe circuitry. Can't wait to RMA to MSI, and wait a month!!!!!
  21. Ok. It looks like my motherboard exploded, then. That's what I get for plugging in a GTX 470.
  22. When your old Phenom 720 went on the fritz, what were the symptoms? I'm having big problems with my PC now, where it will all power up, but will not POST. The motherboard looks perfectly fine and I've cleared the CMOS several times and checked the RAM, so I'm wondering if I'm having CPU problems.
  23. But think of how many drivers that suffer from claustrophobia will choose this mode of transport instead! Putting the irrational fear of closed spaces into the public could be the most persuasive way to get everyone into mass transit!
