  1. Yeah, to be honest, I never done drugs and never will. I've seen to many people get f*cked up, especially on that methamphetimine crap. Plus, I'm saving my cash for that new Camaro
  2. Wow... this is just the car to express one's individuality in a sea of Corrolla's, Civic's and Mazda3's... Oh thanks... Blame Canada. I don't think Canada should apologize for this at all... We already apologize whenever Bryan Adams debuts a new album. We apologize every time Celine Dion open's her mouth, and we apolgize whenever you Yank's step on our feet... ...give us a break...

    birthdays...

The older you get, the more bitter you're supposed to become... which mean F.O.G. will have plenty of great articles left to come!
  4. It's a great looking interior... and just watch Consumer Reports, Edmunds and MT rip it apart.
  5. I've only seen one on the road, a light blue one, and it stuck out like a sore thumb. The 22 inch "deep dish" wheels on it didn't help much either.
  6. Gee, it's like picking between two wallflowers at the school dance... one's pretty plain looking and the other has buck-teeth and huge nostrils... I think the orange one with more agressiveness and a powerplant to match would make a nice sleeper. The black one? Well, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, the black one is so ricey that I'll bet it runs on Soy Sauce and uses Wasabi as motor oil...
  7. I've seen this car in person too in both Europe and Australia, and it'll be a great fit in North America too. It'll exude a bit of European flair in a category that ranges from bland to clowny to outright 'Doc. Martin's' dorky.
  8. ...and the world lets out one big collective, "meh..."
  9. $549 Canadian for the cheapest model?! Sad thing is, they'll be lining up the blocks to get their hands on these things. These console wars are getting worse each week. Nintendo just changed their system's perfectly good name "Revolution" to... "wii"... FYI, "wii" is pronounced 'wee'. With a name like that, Nintendo may have alienated themselves from people aged 6 and up.
  10. Van Halen - "Unchained " - Fair Warning
  11. THANK YOU! For once, someone else understands... Sad thing is though, the way Axl Rose is going, we may get the real form of Chinese Democracy before the album makes it out... And it's awesome to see Live Wire as 17th. One of my all time favorites.
  12. N... no it doesn't... ...
  13. Yeah, ok. You realize that some people may have not been able to afford the 3.5L... And with fuel economy dominating peoples' minds, can you blame them for buying the smaller engine? I know it's a pathetic engine and all, but is it really the buyers fault?
  14. Boy does that look dorky. I kinda want to rent one for a day or two just to see the faces I get when I blast my Motley Crue, Guns n' Roses & Van Halen CD's from one of these things...
  15. True, but people are beginning to demand more. Look at that new Nissan Versa. It offers Bluetooth, Leather Interior... even though only a couple years ago compacts still had manual roll up windows... The small car class was also basic, but it grew up too. Now you can get Mazda3's with Navigation... With gas prices, while still cheap, rising, the "premium" compact category can only go up. There are plenty of people looking for a car that is miserly on fuel, but also has options comparable to some luxury cars.

    ...

I love seeing Dodge Rams with huge wheels (some 20's), big bull bars, decked out with 3rd party chrome addons, huge sound system blasting some terrible rap-crap (you know, all that look at me macho stuff)... and when the hood gets opened up, it's the 3.7 litre Magnum V6 which I can easily mop the floor with my subdued, conservatively styled diesel Sierra that has 15 inch steels and no "glitter."... ... Oh, and my meager sound system does not play rap crap, but instead David Lee Roth's "Eat 'em and Smile" Point being? Keep it conservative GM. It's what's under the hood that really counts. Don't give in to the faux macho look. If people want to show off, they buy a Dodge. If they want a truck, they'll buy a GM/Chevy
  17. Toyota? Human? Nah. One guy I know seems to believe that Toyota is in fact not run by humans, but by an evil race of robots. As soon as every American and Canadian driveway has one Toyota in it, they will all transform and destroy North America... Say Hello To Toyota's Real Overlord - I mean CEO. Then again, Maybe GM planned for this and all our GM Sierra's and Chevy Silverados are really Optimus Primes and Ultra Magnus'...
  18. C'mon GM, bring it over the pond! Lets give Honda and Toyota a reason to have a Fit.
  19. This is why I love C&G. There's always someone out there with better insight and more thoughtfullness who serves me my rear end on a platter. That's what you get when you're a wiseass teenager I guess.
  20. As long as the dash is well built, functional and user friendly, I don't care what materials are used... It's only the urban cowboy crowd who will care about the little things. After all, the current GM/Chevy trucks still sell well despite the dash, which kind of means that a real truck buyer could care less about "unimportant" interior appointments. The Contracter who needs a dependable truck that won't break down when on a deadline is not going to care about the plastics quality. The Rancher/Farmer who needs a truck that can last (or even outlast) their lifetime will likely not give a about the HVAC console being a different colour. And the lawn technicians and maintenance crews are likely to overlook the upholstry materials as long as the vehicle offers best in class fuel economy and power. I have no problem with optioning out a truck. But maybe if you are more concerned about wood trim design or CD changer capacity than the box length or trailering, then maybe, just maybe, you should be looking at a different class of vehicle.
  21. Oops. Right you are.
  22. A four cylinder luxo-economy car? I dunno why, but the name Cimmarron comes to mind... Ok, that may have been a little too harsh. But if GM ever attempts to try making a plush small car, they had better execute it well (assuming they utilize Delta) Critics will say this is "really a Cobalt" so GM will have to give it their all and win over the people... Then again, up here in Canada, we have an Acura that is really just a rebaged Civic with just a little more power and a tauter ride that carries an almost $10,000 premium... ... it's selling pretty well... By the way. The 3-5L V8 is an awesome idea.
  23. Maybe its just the camo, but this thing seems as exciting as the cardboard I bale at work... In fact, the corrugatted stuff from Europe seems way more exciting...
  24. It's great to see Toyota let blind five year old children in comas design Scions. Although, I doubt Etch-a-Sketch's are good design tools...
