  1. I dunno. As much as I love the new Camaro, I've always been a fan of the Holden GTO ... must be something from my mom's Australian side... I get some feeling that I'll end up owning one... likely before the Camaro. People complain about it being too conservative and doesn't fit the image. I disagree. This is the ultimate sleeper. Awesome car.

  4. One Laser Blue Camaro coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It totally jumps off the screen
  5. I'm surprised this "Toy-oas-ta" got 4 pages of glossy coverage. It's an appliance, and that's it.
  6. I dunno. They gotta make a real splash with this thing. I figure the 3.6 will be the one in here, because it'll match or exceed the V6 power supplied by say, the Nissan 350Z and the Mustang. It'd be funny if the V6 made similar horsepower to the Mustang's V8, if maybe having less torque.... ...but horsepower is what sells vehicles.
  7. I'm sure Kia and Hyundai would have it beat with more features, and it's not as they aren't reliable either.
  8. Now isn't that called Communism? Marx and Lenin had a similar idea and it didn't turn out too well. I hate Communism and believe totally in Capitalism. What I don't believe in is rampant greed and relentless pursuit of money that can destroy a company and the livelihood of it's workers, aka, Enron. Besides, these guys are dinosaurs. Shouldn't it be time to maybe give back to the world, much in the way Warren Buffet did? I doubt your quality of life will deteriorate much if you donate say, eight of your ten billions.
  9. I dunno so much about the "cheap" part in that statement.
  10. That it seems many Toyota fans that I have met will never give an inch of ground to GM or any other automaker, even if Toyota's competitor manages to do something better. I was going to write a response to Toyoguy, but I figured, "what's the point."
  11. Well, time to keep that money in the bank!!! I was considering upgrading the truck with a turbo and exhaust kit, but now I'll just put it to the Camaro! Lets hope they give us some engine numbers on this thing! That has got to be the first time I've ever seen the used!
  12. Outta curiousity? Any way we can find out who he is, in terms of name, address, or anything like that? If it's possible, we ought to send the nearest member his way and dispense some indiscriminate justice. Or we can just sign up his home address for loads of mail porn and catalogues. Lets see him put a junk mail filter on that.

This is one of the few tmes I'm kinda glad I'm a Catholic... (Not some devout evangelical, Mel Gibson type mind you) Hope it turns out ok. It also sounds like her boyfriend is willing to do the honourable thing... most guys would cut and run for the hills.
  14. I guess we'll have to purchase a Safari or Econoline to compete. Oh, and when and where do you want to meet to settle this RWD vs fwd feud once and for all? ... and should we do lunch before it or after?
  15. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ!!! I swear to god, if we threw this fossil and Kirk into a pit, buried them, we'd strike oil within six months of decomposition. I just wish Kirk would have a massive heart attack. This guys greed is a blight on Corporate North America and Capitalism in general.
  16. Would you expect more from Toyota? When was the last time Toyota brand sold a car on design?
  17. Wow, that camera vision system monitor looks cool... But they got rid of the ebony/green interior... I thought it looked awesome and kept with the ruggedness of this vehicle.
  18. Why do I get the feeling that NO woman s going to show up to this?... I know it'll be a total sausage fest.

  20. The way things are going, maybe I should quit the RDM and start my own establishment... Diesel Trucks Equipped With 4 Wheel Drive Mafia. DTEW4WDM Very Exclusive!
  21. Although I rattled off a few games, I too never spent TOO much time on them, compared to others. Any of you had a friend who actually lived at a LAN game lounge for about a week playing nothing but Counterstrike and eating McDonalds?... I did... They gave him an old couch for when he needed to sleep, but they didn't have a washroom, so the odour wasn't pleasant. I also think he wasn't above using adult diapers.
  22. Will we be getting plastic Buick Lacrosses in boxes of Oatmeal Crisp anytime soon? Or maybe everytime you buy an "Eagles" CD, you have a chance to win a brand new Lucerne!
  23. I wonder if the Front Wheel Drive crue is going to get a member with one of these... Cause if they do, I've found my FWD rival.
  24. Ok. I like games by Westwood, BEFORE EA had its way with it and left it in a watery ditch to shrivel to death. So "Command & Conquer" Tiberian Series and Red Alert 1 are favourites. Joseph Kucan as Kane scared the crap out of me, and makes Osama bin Laden look like Barney the dinosaur. I also enjoyed the Maxis games. I didn't play much SimCity 2K because I was a bit young for it, but I did play SimCity 3K. I tried Simcity4, but it got way too technical for me. The Sims was pretty fun, but my people were either desperately poor and starving and near suicidal (they slept a lot to make the day's and night's pass ) or they caught on fire. Of course, I always fire up the Starcraft every so often because that game is timeless and I've had hours of enjoyment playing online. I've played Counterstrike TWICE... I got sick of assholes jumping and then crouching and knifing me at the same time and doing other crap. Some people have a little too much time on their hands. No RPG's thank you.
