  1. Hey wait a second, weren't you the one who was complaining that your mother was getting made fun of at work because of your being gay... ...and now you're going to drive with a pro-gay bumper sticker?... You make the place out to be a redneck, one horse town, and I'm sure it is, but posting a sticker like can just make you more of a target.
  2. Guess the EM-DEE-ES techn-nul-oo-gy couldn't solve this one. (i just love saying MDS technology in a slackjaw yokel voice for some reason...) Still, this is troubling, and certainly rubs away quite a bit of the shine from Chrysler's recently re-polished image. I guess many of us knew it wasn;t going to great for them, but I didn't think it was this bad.
  3. This commercial pretty much sums up why I'll never buy a V6 F-Body.
  4. The SRT line is a no brainer. Mercedes has their AMG, BMW has their "M" series, Cadillac has their "V" Series, and to a lesser extent, Chevrolet's SS trim. It boost the brands image, and brings people into dealers. They likely won't leave with a Chrysler 300 SRT-8, but they may end up leaving with a Dodge Charger R/T.
  5. And if this car happens to exist, (which it likely doesn't) he should know on a dollar for dollar basis, the Corvette would likely stomp it. You also ought to remind him that Toyota's once used and copied GM engines, so that's gotta mean something. Either way, he needs a brain enema. Tell him that.
  6. I know I likely wouldn't use it, but if people want it, and it's an option, more power to them.
  7. An average R1 residential house in my city costs $342,761, albeit in Canadian dollars, (but our currency is close to the States') On our West Side alone, that figure jumps to 1 to 1.2 Million.
  8. My experience has shown that most people who complain about shoddy, American reliability have never even owned an American car. My family has owned vehicles from Europe, and owns a Japanese make (Toyota Sienna) and none of those vehicles has lasted as long as the American products. Our '00 Sienna has already been pulled back to the dealer a bunch of times for stuff relating to the transmission, fuel injection, etc. Last Japanese car we're going to buy.
  9. I'm sure if you head to Baghdad, they'll set you up... it's your chance to beat the rush. :AH-HA_wink:
  10. I can't wait until the Chinese do a rip-off design of the Compass.
  11. Nice! Looks pretty awesome. I like the mod list, save the LED's, but that's just my personal preference. Maybe grab yourself an awesome hood for a Pontiac Ram-Air look :AH-HA_wink:
  12. I think the writers who say young people hate Buicks don't go outside often. How else could they write, like, 100 deathwatches.
  13. I wonder if the paint changes to a glowing gold colour at 140. And becomes all pointy...
  14. A reasonably priced, V6 powered RWD coupe. This'll sell nicely.
  15. Ugh... I guess it's good advertising, but Christ, games like SL kinda freak me out.
  16. Maybe it dispenses M&M's and Red Bull to make you go wired to go even faster...
  17. On Dr. Z's website, it mentions that the Ram's exterior mirrors have a water trough developed by German engineers which is also used on the ML 320. Which likely means it makes the Ram only a little less sucky.

    I LIKE PIE!

    The best is Cherry Pie.
  19. My cousin owns a Holden Astra, albeit a previous generation. Great little car, and a mystery to me why GM hadn't brought it over sooner... Oh well, this one looks terrific.
  20. Our ol' Mercedes S, but that's another story...
  21. Hmm, maybe it has one mean Stabilitrak system. Although the Veyron has AWD, it doesn't mean that GM couldn't do it RWD... ...If there's will, there's a way.

    Desktops!

You know he just put the Hustler Online on there for us to laugh at :AH-HA_wink:
  24. Does your Dad care about rock solid reliability? Does your Dad care about having a vehicle that'll not give up or quit? My Dad does, and that's why he buys GMC.
