  1. I too avoid Esso (Canadian Exxon) because they are morons, and it seems that they are the ONLY oil company that denies that climate change is upon us, and is willing to pay "professors" to spread that denial in the media. Their fuel, at least up here, is also loaded with impurities, so I'll vote with my dollar at other stations. I wish we had Irving Oil in my part of the country... some of the cleanest fuel, and it's a Canadian company... As for Chavez, he's thorn in everybody's ass. Cozying up to Iran is not exactly smart, and he would be better served if he maybe spent less time criticizing North America and more time actually lifting his people out of poverty.
  2. 'bout damn time. But I wonder if diesel will win over people? From what I have come to realize, is that many people I have spoken to, see Hybrids as the one way, and only way, to reduce emissions. Time will tell.
  3. Normally, I chime in on these threads, but it's got way to much metal for me.
  4. This guy might know the answer? For all you 80's buffs. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Boxers or Briefs?
  6. I read about it in my city's newspaper... The f@#kING newspaper!!!... And it wasn't a cheap daily either, but the main paper for my city . Worse still, it had Paris in the picture, and I threw up my Cheerios. Maybe it was acid reflux, or just not being hungry, but it was all Paris... Britney has to play catch up with Lindsay Lohan, who has been pulling the same thing for the past six months or so...
  7. I don't think he has plans on committing jihad on our asses anytime soon, or making our women wear burqas. In fact, I think he resents extremism even more than we all do combined.
  8. Booyah! Oh, but CR will find something to rip on, eh? Maybe something about their spinning the front wheels due to the powerful engine...
  9. Tentacle say-what-now?
  10. :rotflmao:
  11. Hey, nice Any thoughts of giving that 2.7 a little more juice, or to make the car look less stock?
  12. Compass' ? OK, I'm sorry about that one. I just had to say it. No hard feelings. Hope you get some people into the Wranglers because those kick ass.
  13. If he swore on the Bible, it would be blasphemy to his religion, and it would in effect, be blasphemous to mine. Being a Catholic, I believe he has every right to swear on his own religions book. That is how it should be. His not swearing on the Bible only strengthens America and its constitution.
  14. Where's the STS-V? I'm not sure if it is a true super sedan, or if it directly competes with this segment, but I would have liked to see how it'd stack up. Oh well.
  15. But isn't this FWD?... The Ridgeline is FWD and people rip into it for that.
  16. I wonder where this petition was held? Petitionspot maybe? If that's the case, I know some of the people's name would likely be "sxygirl549", "xxxMyH3artBreaks4Uxxx", "naturgurl69" or perhaps "Bawlsack2357"
  17. You know some asshole that works for this author or Greenpeace is going to stumble upon this image, and soon, the pack of "GM cigarettes" is going to be on every protest board, and advertisement against General Motors...
  18. Honda "That's" ? Honda "Life" ? Digging into the Sinatra songbook are they?
  19. Ford Festiva?
  20. It can't be. The Batmobile has to have OnStar.
  21. Dammit CD... I can't find a picture of everybody's favorite Ford engineer. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. At least they were in suits, and clean cut and reasonably professional. Maybe if more environmentalists were like that, instead of looking and smelling like they just came from Woodstock, people would take them seriously.
  23. Hyundai can make some neat concepts... Too bad that in the end, we get Spectra's .
