At my old workplace which was a grocery store, we had a problem of one or two assholes grabbing other people's food out of the fridge. I caught on fast when I noticed my chocolate milk disappeared, and kept my lunch in my locker... but other people would lose entire lunches, and totally have their day ruined. Plus, every day there'd always be day-old food coming up to the staff room that was still good, usually bags of chips, juice or even pies. However, instead of sharing, the people who's day ended first would just load up on the stuff, and leave, while the rest of us come up to an empty table. I even caught one cashier cramming her purse with about three bags of chips, and a dozen packs of gum, and leaving half a bag, and a couple sticks for the rest of us. Bitch.

If this were a planned, premeditated murder, then I'd be all for the murderer getting life, with no chance of parole and hoping he gets repeatedly cornholed by a big guy named 'Molly' . But this is not the case. The murderer is schizophrenic. Had there been no peer pressure, and ambivalence towards mental illness within the community, he might have gotten the help he sorely needed. That's the part I find sad. Would I have run? You bet your ass I would have, but not before making sure everyone else was off the bus and safe, because I don't want to mess with a schizophrenic time-bomb with a massive Rambo-knife. Had they noticed him with the knife before the stabbings, then it'd be a different story to try and intervene, but I am pretty sure that after the third or fourth wound, the victim would have been beyond saving, so it makes more sense to preserve the lives of the other passengers.

I figured it was something like schizophrenia, and I do feel bad for the murderer because if there wasn't such a massive amount of negative pressure against mental illness in the community, the guy could have gotten some help, and this would have likely been averted.

I'm under the impression that this was a psychotic episode. It's scary, but frankly, given the circumstances, the driver and passengers handled the situation very well. Had someone confronted the guy, there could have been even worse consequences. To be honest, I'm glad we got the murderer alive, as it'll give some closure, and we can figure out why this took place, and whether we can prevent similar acts in the future.

It's at 4.30'ish now, and essentially at its 52-week low. Although figures are gloomy with Intel owning 80% of the processor market, I still don't think that equates a share price in the 4.30's. Plus, ATI's midrange GPU's have given nVidia's offerings a run for their money, and I do believe the 'Spider' platform will be a draw as more people start shopping for computers like they are video game systems. But also, owning shares in both nVidia, and AMD/ATI is a great mindf**k for the fanboys.

Every time I hear or read something about Chrysler, the theme from MAD TV's "Lowered Expectations" swirls around in my head.

I own about 300 Ford shares, and 200-something GM. Recently, I've bought up a few hundred nVidia, and on Friday, I picked up 300 AMD. There's others too, but they are mostly Canadian companies.
