  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. It really boiled down to either cutting out new games, or cutting my hair. The big hair won out.
  7. Should I be happy if I don't get it?
  8. What AMD love? We've suggested builds using all the major brands, but the AMD's look more attractive because of their aggressive pricing.
  9. Is it possible to email this article to SMK, along with various quote's of him saying that the BMW V10 would trounce the CTS-V, etc?
  10. BUT I THOUGHT MOTORTREND WAS BIASED!!!!! OMG WTF BBQ PUSHRODS ARE TEH SUXORZ DOHC IS SPOSED TO BE TEH WINRAR!!!!! WHERES TEH ELEVENTY BILLION MASSAGE SETTINGS IN THE BACK SEAT CADILLAC NEEDS TO HAVE SUPER-DVD-AUDIO-BLU-RAY SYSTEM WITH SEVENTY CHANNELS CADILLAC IS STILL TEH FAILBOAT!!!!!!!
  11. I've never been a huge spender, but I've put off CD/game purchases, and I've really reduced the times I have eaten out. Plus, I've been walking more, and longer distances.
  12. Maybe, just maybe the Hyundai was slightly better in this test. Besides, these tests aren't much to get worked up about anyways; how many Camaro V6's and Genesis' are going to actually be 'driven' like they were in the reviews.
  13. Wow, people really need to chill out here, and not care too much about what one person drives, or what their favorite brand is.
  14. CadillacKing gave me an idea yesterday of what he wanted in a computer. Since he has a 17" monitor, and wants to keep it, I figured that this setup should be ideal for playing games like GTA4, Bioshock, and Fallout 3 at the monitor's resolutions. The subtotal on newegg is $585.95, but Amazon had some better prices too. DF and loki are good with AMD stuff, so have you guys got any input?
  15. Depends on what your plans are. Are you looking to stick with what you got for a while? Do you want to play the newest games with decent settings? If your needs are modest, you can probably stick with what you have for now, and see how the upcoming Core i5 processors from Intel turn out. Newegg.com should sell the RAM cheap. As for your graphics, I'm going assume your P4 motherboard has an AGP slot, which is usually dark gray. I don't think many new cards support AGP, and you might be limited to the nVidia 7-series, or ATI 3850's. All in all, what you have is not really worth upgrading at all if you are looking to play newer games. The P4 will be a dog when it comes to running them, and the AGP slot and low-end graphics will only lead to more compromises.
  16. Really, I've always felt Pontiac has needed one, or two solid FWD vehicles, straddling the entry-lux/t category, similar to Acura. A car like this would have slotted in nicely, I think, as a G6, or something to that nature. FWD vehicles can be great performers and provide excitement; one only needs to look at Audi, or Honda's Prelude. A mix of FWD, and RWD vehicles offering great driving dynamics, and a reasonable price/performance ratio were what Pontiac should have been. QFT.
  17. This would have made an awesome Pontiac though. Especially with the high-performance engine.

A Canadian cheering for the Yankees, and not the Canucks?! For shame.
  19. Even if you go there full time, you'll still be here, snooping as usual.
  20. Buick is going to have a real winner, I think. Unless they're... you know... not around.
  21. I'm surprised Honda actually took a day to say 'no' .
  22. If they did, I have a feeling they'd be beefed up V6 models, because of the fuel economy/envrio-concerns, and the 3.6L isn't a slouch either.
