  1. @Frisky Dingo All new vehicles. Yes two cars from each brand.
  2. Slow right now at my work and slow on the forum so I figured I start something fun similar to what we did last year. Rules: 1. You have to pick TWO car manufacturers: ONE is your favorite, the one you will most likely buy a vehicle from and the SECOND is your least favorite, one that you are least likely to buy from. 2. Pick TWO vehicles from EACH car manufacturer: daily driver and fun/weekend/utility car or truck. Please be honest in your choices to make it harder and more fun.
  3. I beat you, I came home in a bus ... Maybe taxi, not sure
  4. @dfelt with all due respect but Mazda 3 is much better then the Focus. @ccap41 too bad you can't find a loaded one in your area. I guess most people go for the lower end trims.
  5. You can get slightly used Mazda 3 hatchback for up to $15k. More room then Fiesta, plenty practical and fun.
  6. Wow, that sucks. I guess as long as you are ok ... Hopefully insurance will give you a decent sum.
  7. Mustang GT premium with performance package (Grabber Blue) Focus RS Acura TLX V6 2013 Lexus GX460 (IMO better looking then the new 4Runner and new G460, and as capable) 2008 Z06 (can get one with pretty low mileage)
  8. I guess we can do one more like that. Rules: 1. Production cars only. 2.These are your only vehicles. 4. Any era and market. 5. At least THREE NEW vehicles. 6. Maximum price $40k. (For new cars $40k is MSRP, no destination and no sales or discounts allowed)
  9. Not for Rubicon, but there is a reason why Subaru owns New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. I have seen people go through really deep snow, steep icy hills, and even reasonably hard off road trails.
  10. I think 25-30k is a sweet spot for a used vehicle (for the average person). You can get a lot of car for that money vs new one.
  11. It does looks handsome and I love wagons and hatchbacks. However, 170hp doesn't sound so sporty at all. At least you can get Outback with a 6-cylinder with 256hp. Also, 6.5in of ground clearance is nothing compared to the Outback's 8.5in. I am sure it drives much much better then the Outback on the road due to a sportier suspension and I am sure DSG is miles better then the horrible CVT. But, also take into account that Alltrack is 10in shorter and has almost 20% less cargo space then Outback. I think each car has it own niche, but I would not say that one is better then the other.
  12. New Mazda 6 New WRX Used GX460 Used Mustang GT pp Used C5 Z06
  13. So it is Monday, let's break the new week's blues with the next one. Rules: 1. Production cars only. 2. These are your only vehicles. 3. Maximum of 5 choices. 4. Any era and market is allowed. 5. At least TWO NEW cars/trucks. 6. Maximum price is $30k. Please, be reasonable with the new/used choices. NO going over MSRP (deals or no deals), and no very high mileage used cars.
  14. There was one station wagon at the last autox I went to. Pretty cool car.
  15. @ccap41 motorcycle will be cheating at this price point
  16. No, lets not over-complicate things
  17. I prefer exterior styling of Mazda hands down.
  18. I actually recently had a chance to test drive both. The new Civic is nicer and more spacious inside, However, Mazda handles as Mazda plus I always loved the hatch.
  19. I missed the fact that 5 door Mazda 3 with manual squicks just under $20k. Would be my pick as well over the Civic.
  20. 2012-2013 Mustang GT performance 2016/2017 Honda Civic LX (with manual MSRP under $20k) (DD) 2012 Lexus RX350 (wife) 2014 Miata Club 2008 4Runner
  21. Yep
  22. So Frisky did displacement and horsepower threads. As much as it is fun to put a dream car garage worth millions, few if any of the members here can afford any of these cars. So lets do a series of budget restricted garages that most of us could actually afford. Rules: 1. Production cars only. 2. These are you only vehicles. 3. Maximum of 5 choices. 4. Any era and market is allowed. 5. At least ONE NEW car/truck. 6. Maximum price is $20k. (MSRP for the new one, for the used one should be a reasonable used price with reasonable mileage and condition - no cars without engine, or Ferrari with 300k miles for $5K )
  23. GT350R Range Rover Sport SVR 458 Vanquish XFR-S
  24. Actually I screwed up: Grand Sport Vette instead of Stingray
