    It's well know that fossilized platform, which beat a brand new offering ( see C&D comparo ) is being replaced soon - before this might be Ram SUV would make its debut. And an like its Yukon/Suburban competition, that fossilized SUV is not on a Least Reliable List either.

    Since there's been over 1300 fires since last recall, one can say GM is not being proactive at all.It's not different than the almost twenty years of Ford cruise control issues, some issued more than four times for certain models.     There is just so much power these days. I mean, I had a blast with my early 90's Mustang GT with about 225 hp. Ruined my drivers record for a while too, lol. But yeah, the Shelby packs a lot of performance for the $$. I am so glad that Ford offers performance gradients for the customer to choose, as in the R model. Few people want or need that extra little track advantage, if they have to suffer the whole time they own it. Especially considering most never even visit a track. So making it standard, makes little sense. Yes. Ford seems to be doing it right ( financial wise too ). One who wants a still damn buttoned down, but comfortable Shelby, can be entertained by the GT350 and all its creature comforts. You can always option up the Track Pak for even more excitement. For those that desire more, up a higher notch is still the R.

    Since the Focus ST did better than Ford anticipated, I'm interested in how the Focus RS is gong to sell. The more I read about that car, the more I'm thinking Hmmmmm, maybe my next ride.

It is a brand new model after ten years of the basically the same car. B.) It's biggest competition, the Camaro, is on the way out with capacity cut months ago (hence their lower sales numbers). It's the same thing the Mustang went through at this time last year (under 4,000 sold in 9/14 I believe). C.) Once the new Camaro is out, then we see more competitive numbers come into play.
