  1. " As we alluded to earlier, that was perhaps the biggest criticism leveled at the 2016 vintage of MKZ; that it felt like simply like a blinged up Fusion, that Lincoln could have done more to distance one of its mid-level luxury cars from the Fords on which they are based. The MKZ and Fusion are still closely related- park the two close together and you’ll see what we mean- but this time around, Lincoln’s efforts to make the MKZ stand out have paid off smartly. There is the styling we talked about earlier, as well as the broad shouldered 3.0 turbocharged V6 that will not be found under the hood of anything with a Ford badge. There’s also the way it feels and drives, and we can say with confidence that nothing in the Ford lineup delivers such a creamy, comfortable ride and will spoil occupants with noise levels that are exceptionally quiet. Suffice it to say, Lincoln is finally on the right track- we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in the pipeline next. " NIce read and review on the 2017 MKZ. 2017 Lincoln MZK
  2. Just saw my 3rd GT350. This one was red with black stripes, others being black on black, and grey with black stripes. This guy must have been in 1dt gear pulling 7000RPM...half hour later I still have goosebumps I think I've seen more Shelby GT350's than the new Camaro.
  3. Fun Fact: FoMoCo outpaced its domestic competition by receiving a satisfaction score of 84. GM received a satisfaction score of 81 and FCA received a 78
  4. " Below 2500 rpm, the engine appears to run on Sleepytime tea" " When the boost finally makes an appearance, it comes on all of a sudden. And that surge of acceleration tapers off quickly past the 5500-rpm power peak " IMHO, it doesn't sound like an ideal Sports Car Power Plant.
  5. Over the past few years, car owners have become increasingly dissatisfied with their vehicles. But a new study from the American Customer Satisfaction Index suggests that for most automakers, consumer sentiment has made a turn for the better. ACSI's 2016 Automobile Report polled 3,776 auto customers, asking them to evaluate their experiences with a wide range of car brands, using a scale of 0 (not at all satisfied) to 100 (over the moon). Most of the questions consumers were asked had to do with a car's design or performance--how it looked on the inside and outside, how it handled on the road, and so on. However, there were a couple of questions that related more directly to the buying experience, like how easy the automaker's website was to navigate and how pleased respondents were with their warranties. 6. One could say that about damn near any test then.
  7. C&D don't seem all that fond of the 1.4L T in the 124 Roadster. " Fiat’s biggest misstep—adding power—actually seems like a good idea on paper. The reality is that the 1.4-liter turbo is a lag-filled look at the pitfalls of turbocharging. Below 2500 rpm, the engine appears to run on Sleepytime tea. A saunter from 30 to 50 mph in sixth gear takes 13.6 seconds, almost three seconds longer than the Miata’s time, and only a half-second quicker than a manual Ford Focus with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder. Waiting this long is usually accompanied by an old issue of People magazine or Highlights for Children. And yes, we realize that any sentient driver would downshift when faced with such a delay, but our top-gear acceleration test does highlight the car’s complete lack of motivation before the turbo wakes up. " " When the boost finally makes an appearance, it comes on all of a sudden. And that surge of acceleration tapers off quickly past the 5500-rpm power peak. Launched with a 4400-rpm clutch drop, the Spider will arrive at 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, a significant half-second behind the Mazda. " 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth
  8. I wonder if Lansing Assembly Plant will get a late Summer Holiday for the Camaro line emplyees? That place has been humming along with three shifts since April and now GM has 129 days of supply. Supply is in excess because demand has lagged behind production. We saw the same thing with ATS and CTS which resulted in Lansig being cut to one shift and production halted for a few weeks.
  9. 129 day supply of Camaro. 76 for Challenger. 72 for Mustang.
  10. Sounds a lot like every other mfg. Most build concepts they never intend to produce are a showcase for new styling, new technology etc and see consumer reaction.
  11. I was forced to here because YOU whined about it.
  12. I thought this is the Random Thought thread? Yet days later, youre still whining about this? Therefore one can easily deduce its not a Random Thought.
  13. Then that is your problem.
  14. Practice what you preach Look.Nobody put a gun to your head and told you to post that you were TEXTING WHILE DRIVING. IN A PUBLIC FORUM, NO LESS. That's all on you man. I can't help it that you actually did something that daft You really are the Voice of Drama. I wasn't texting while driving. It was sarcasm, hence the wink emoticon.

  17. Challenger T/A was Dodge's answer for SCCA Trans Am eligibility, like the Boss 302 and Z/28. The reincarnation of both the Boss and Z/28 ( and now GT350/R ) was done right. Both very special cars. The T/A, not so much.
  18. I was hoping Michelle Jenneke would perform better in her first showing at the Olympics. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3743498/Michelle-Jenneke-does-signature-warm-dance-bombing-Rio-Olympics.html
  19. Fly over... like everything between BC and Ontario Anything seems like that when you're texting and driving Looks like you missed where I said fly over. And nope not texting while driving. I'm typing while I take 5 from a fibre install proposal I'm working on.
  20. The dollar is actually at an acceptable range for exports. By the same token, socialized programs are funded by the taxpayer and thus good news for an employer unwilling to spend too much on benefits. The major drawback government-wise is a Provincial issue: the exorbitant cost of electricity. July numbers should be out shortly - Canada's trade deficit widened in June to a record $3.6 billion. Imports from the United States, our biggest trading partner, were up 1.5 per cent to $29.8 billion and exports were down 1.2 per cent to $31.6 billion. As a result, Canada's trade surplus with the United States narrowed from $2.6 billion in May to $1.8 billion in June. For the April-June quarter, Canada's trade deficit with the world widened from $6.4 billion in the first quarter of 2016 to a record $10.7 billion. So much for our dollar being at an acceptable range for exports.
  21. Bull$h! it wasn't.
  22. Sometimes it's hard to txt n drive. I'm surprise auto correct didn't correct Texting and driving is for f@#king losers. It was sarcasm. Hence the wink

  24. Or just don't talk. So, it turns out that the latest Ford GT is the third version of a mid-engine they have done for street use. Amazing that some Ford fans don't seem to know that The MkIII, in its wire rim glory, would have been quite the sight on the roads during the mid '60...if you're lucky enough to get a glimps.
