    I went yesterday to test drive a GMC Silverado...To my surprise, none on the lots. Then looked for a Chevy Sierra...nothing again, in any trim. Big sellers these truck are < sarcasm > And I never tried to imply GM is behind Ram. I posted the Top 3 for the month of September - F Series, Ram, Silverado.

    Not bad. It took 6 different truck lines ( 2x Sliverado - light duty/heavy duty, 2x Sierra - light/hd, Colorado, and Canyon ) to beat 2 F Series truck lines - light/SD - by 8k units.

    VIR was repaved a couple months ago, so it's not really an apple to apple comparison for times from different years.

    You'd probably get to try it out before us " regular " folk do as that setup won't be on dealer lots until mid November... From what I've read it's a night and day difference between the old and new. Would have been really interesting to see a demo of the new trans coupled to the last gen 3.5L EB just to gauge the trans improvment in itself
