I fail to see how a car that has the performance this car has can be considered anything less than a bargain. If you want to talk about warranty hassles ask the Porsche GT3 owners about Stuttgart recalling EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM because they were prone to burning to the ground.

I am enjoying looking at the results of the New Horizions mission to Pluto get more than I thought I would. Interesting to see that there's talk of giving it back full planetary status.

The interior is actually pretty nice. It's mostly a question of what your personal tastes are.

I was going to say Jackie Chan, but that's just me.

True dat. Department of Nitpicking: when viewed from the perspective of lawn chair height the Jag F-Type has a bit too much front overhang.

You just want an excuse to wear a bright red shirt and cowboy hat in Verdun

While I would like to see perfect component reliability in this car, Casa and Drew have the right perspective-this is almost certainly no big deal. And again, if it IS, I'm sure we will hear all about it.

Ford spills Details about new Carbon Fiber GT350R Rims.
El Kabong replied to G. David Felt's topic in Industry News
I'm not sure how bad carbon fibre would be for the environment. I mean carbon is, well... carbon. I suppose if individual threads of the stuff worked loose it could be bad for you like fibreglass. I'm guessing it's the resin that would be bad for you. -

I would say that once you damage a CF rim it's a goner. Metals are malleable and ductile, carbon fibre isn't. That being said, I can't see a major manufacturer rolling the dice on technology like this if it ain't ready for prime time. It's an interesting item on what promises to be a great car. -
Thirteen years for me. I feel lucky Congratulations, man.

No doubt. I checked in a coupla days ago, not much going on. I guess they went and banned Olds again for what they called a "foul-mouthed tirade." Smooth move-in a forum that's now 90% trolls you gas one of the three guys who actually cares about the place. It's like they're deliberately trying to be crappy at this point. -
Its always sad to see the messenger being shot. It's not their fault when stupidity is allowed to win.

Karma News: Revitalized Fisker Aims For Mid-2016 Production Restart

Fiskers look amazing. Anything designed by the former head stylist of Aston Martin had better look good. But time marches on, and I fear that this will just be a very nice-looking antique.- 12 replies

One of the things I like about this place is that they don't try and disable features in order to save face for people who can't play nice. If you're a troll, they're more than happy to let that fact be made known :D

Yup. Definitely the frame vendor's fault. yeesh

Real Measure of Success: Cadillac ATPs Up 15% for June 2015
El Kabong replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Cadillac
F1 is an overpriced spec series. If I was a company looking to spend a bazillion dollars to make a statement I'd at least choose a series where the rule book isn't a mile thick. -

Don't be. Have you SEEN MT lately? -
Wrong, CNG is 110 Octane and on a gallon to gallon equal you get higher HP and Torque for CNG. Ethanol is where you loos HP and Torque. Terrible Fuel and Waste of Tax dollars plus the increase in food costs on corn. Available now from your fleet sales rep. So I was right on the octane, and possibly wrong on the mileage (I'm pretty sure the mpg versus ethanol is roughly the same). Either way, it'll probably remain a niche fuel solution for now.

His accent ain't that thick. I've heard stronger, put it that way. Interesting that he would consider the 1.4 engine to be powerful, but I guess that compared to Tata Nanos and Hindustan Ambassadors it would be a beast.
