  1. Lot of that kinda thing going on lately. Hang in there, be strong.
  2. I don't think it would be any easier to bolt on a massive turbo to the 2.0 as it would the 3.6 because everything would have to change in terms of piping and intercooling anyway. Lot easier to upgrade a turbo (and associated plumbing) than put one (or two) on a NA engine, especially one that takes up more underhood space.
  3. In all honesty I think I prefer the 2.0T over the 3.6 for just that reason. I'm all for a more refined ponycar, but the idea of bolting on a turbo as big as a melon and hooning BRXs is just too awesome to ignore.
  4. I forgot about the GS. If I wanted to go around corners as well as the Hellcat goes down straights then I'd get one of those with the Z07 package, if the price is right.
  5. And the hot rumor from camaro6 and GMI is that the ZL1 will be dropping soon. Good times to be a GM fan, fer sure. For the record, I'm putting the LT4's stated output at 635hp, based on Callaway's slight pullback of claimed hp for the SC610 package.
  6. The only thing I'm not sold on with the Challenger is the size. I was in one last spring and I'm NOT 6'6" and 300 so I rattled around a bit. Still, 11.2 second quarter mile.
  7. That might be the best color for that car. I was amazed when I saw it in the showroom.
  8. And they seem as impressed by the latest arrivals as they were by the ones they awarded COTY: "Roughly 150 pounds heavier than its coupe counterpart, the Camaro Convertible SS shrugs at the extra weight. Our six-speed manual-equipped tester still roars quickly away from stoplights, the drop top offering the added benefit of some extra sonic thrills from the LT1 V-8. The Camaro Convertible SS should do 0-60 mph in about 4.1 seconds. If you get sick of all the noise (why would you?), the cabin remains impressively quiet for a convertible with the top up." "As much as I’d like to tell you that the only engine worth considering in the 2016 Camaro is the V-8, truthfully the full Camaro powertrain lineup is solid, and the 2.0-liter turbo is especially compelling. I mean, sure, buy a Camaro SS if you have the means, but there’s no shame in sticking with the base engine here, especially if its instrumented test numbers live up to Chevy’s claims. Did someone say budget ATS Coupe?" More at the link: http://www.motortrend.com/news/2016-chevrolet-camaro-convertible-20-turbo-first-drive-review/
  9. Very well. I'll take the Hellcat Challenger in Plum Crazy I was looking at yesterday.
  10. I think he was referring to the Camaro ZL1 when he said CTS-V coupe. Ok then... uh... what does a Hellcat Challenger go for down there these days?
  11. Well, if the rumours are true then I'll just wait till the end of the month and say Camaro ZL1
  12. Given that Motor Trend just declared the Camaro SS to be the winner in a comparo versus an M4, I'd say that ANYTHING that is spun off the Alpha platform is quite capable of taking on all comers, regardless of brand or country of origin. Excellence of execution: when you got it, you need not run from anything.
  13. Easy-peasy these days.
  14. Oh, I have no doubt we have stalkers. But we all know what's what. And as long as they can't run their yap it's all good.
  15. Oh, those days are gone now.
  16. ...it's actually called a Trailcat, but c'mon, people. More on what Car and Driver calls "the best worst idea ever" at the link: http://blog.caranddriver.com/jeep-trailcat-is-the-707-hp-hellcat-powered-wrangler-from-hell/
  17. Hard to trump that.
  18. Cadillac has firmly established itself as a player in the luxury-sport segment. Now it's a matter of getting consumers to ditch the brand snobbery.
  19. Johnny hockey just scored two goals in ten seconds. Nice.
  20. A company that specializes in big enthusiast cars partnering with a company that specializes in small enthusiast cars? Works for me.
  21. Welcome to C&G man. Good to see you here.
  22. Didn't kno. I gotcha tho. I guess oil prices effect U quick fast considering your current career. Yup. But I suspect I'm gonna wind up with an Alpha-platform something or other in the garage in due course. MT just did a comparo with the CTS VSport and it smoked the Audi and Lexus it was up against.
  23. I don't even get what's going on with the Republican party at this point. Its a circus of clowns Thanks. The truth of the matter is that I have been talking about this for a while but wanted to wait til Spring was here. This week.. 60 degrees and 70s are coming back to MD.. I'm pumped that Sasha and Rose will get some playtime U kno I'm cheap. Hey!!! What are U gonna do that the new GS is coming? U trading in the C6 GS or what? My GS is LONG gone, man... I got the fleet down to one vehicle these days. I've really been looking at the Camaro pretty closely, but until oil rebounds a bit more solidly than it has to this point I'm playing it safe.
  24. No need to choose. But it would be fun to see. The best part of this article was when they suggested they might put it up against AMGs and Porsches. One way or another, it definitely redefines the ponycar segment. And the 1LE has yet to drop!
  25. No, incentives on it actually weren't that great. I leased it. $500 rebate and a crappy money factor, honestly. But I did get a killer price. Good car, plus good deal, equals good times. Congrats, man.
