You have smoked yourself Mercedes fanboy retarded if you think what is in your Benz and what's in the Caddy are the same damn thing. Whitewash and delude the Caddy all you want but the fanboy envy is obvious here when you keep spouting nonsense like the climate control features being the same as your 15 year old Benz and everything else you have been incorrect over in this thread. Save it. Seriously. No one is buying what you're trying to sell here. And I'm sure that you know better than these multi-billion dollar companies lol. What are your car manufacturing credentials again?

It is also just a two door vs a four door and skip the fact that while those materials are typical Rolls expensive and high quality, it is also a visual mess in there and front pieces of the dash actually look hodge podge like in their design. No flow at all. I mean, on first glance, it doesn't even look like a $400K car much less a Rolls IMO. The Caddy may have a questionable look to the rear 3 quarters but that will vary person to person and owners will spend more time inside these cars looking at the interior, which again, does Rolls no favors at first glance.

He literally ignores everything like the 3D printing options because it doesn’t do anything for him, like that matters at all. Stop indulging the Mercedes fan who will never admit that Cadillac might just be upping their game to the point that it could possibly (already has in the EV world) leapfrog his precious German handlers. Just a complete waste of space at this point. Everyone who is not a complete Benz fanboy recognizes what’s going on here. For F sake, he even talks about the need for physical buttons and preferring the S Class for that reason yet…find the buttons in this S-Class interior. It’s the same $h! in a different form factor from the hyper screen equipped models from Benz and not a button to be found. Again, his validation here is not needed when he can’t even keep his “needs” straight.

The Rolls is “only” sporting 320 miles of range. Neither car is being sold with “top range” in mind nor does it matter anyway for reasons that have been discussed aplenty here. Range bitching on these types of cars is like bitching about MPGs on the ICE equivalent of a $300K car. It doesn’t exist to actual buyers.

The Lyriq and Escalade both start north of $50K so that's a lie as well (and the XT6 sniffs within $10 of $50K here so that base price is location dependent. Lets not forget @smk4565, I am not denying where Cadillac plays here but this discussion wasn't about whether or not Cadillac sells a bunch of sub-$50K cars. It was whether Benz does and how much they rely upon those sales. See how that works? No deflection. No goalpost moving. Just sticking to the damn subject. Try it sometime.

D-E-F-L-E-C-T-I-O-N And I'm sure that had ZRO to do with the fact that the CLA (which is one foot in the grave anyway) a A-Class are complete failures. Again, see the C-Class (which starts at $39K) as an example of sub-$50K sales that keep the lights on for Benz. Why else dabble in the sub-$50K pool to begin with if you are "luxury" or the "best or nothing" right?
-
Funny how you circled some and not others. The C-Class, GLB, and GLC all start under $50 (with the GLB AND GLC starting under $40K) and those are three of MBs biggest sellers right there so thanks for proving my point yet again. You can't sit here and claim they are an all encompassing brand and then selectively ignore the models responsible for the bulk of their sales, which clearly show as many under $50K as there are over $50K. I believe you just answered your own question.

And I'd say that you are comparing gas powered apples to EV powered oranges, never mind the obvious cherry picking but since you want to go there... ...for the thousandth time, the Tesla Model S is classified as FULL SIZE/Executive Luxury car and IS DIRECT COMPETITOR TO THE S-CLASS, no matter how many times you talk about exterior dimensions between it and the S-Class, thus outselling the EQS and S-Class combined. Furthermore, your claims about volume and luxury clearly did not get sent to Tesla as they seem to be doing both, selling luxury and in volume. Maybe you should just consider putting wheels on that goalpost next time. Would save a whole lot of work, what it moving it around so much.

So which is it? They can’t sell them because they are just little Hyundai or they can’t sell them because they can’t produce enough of them? Pick one and stick with it. I thought Hyundai and Benz didn’t compete with each other? You are deflection from raw numbers that show Benz struggling in the EV segment just like you deflected from the valid EQB criticisms. How about putting the fan boy hat down for just a second and giving an actual objective though on this?
-
Really? Guess their vans didn't get that particular message lol. Just more "Mercedes this" and "Mercedes that" fan talk that ignores the valid criticisms and deflects to nothing more than paid advertising speak. Seriously. If you say so. Current GLB starting price-$39,800 EV equivalent EQB-$52,400 But you think it will have the SAME price points eight years from now. Best of luck with whatever has you thinking that.
-
Exactly! It is sold as a gimmick (not just the EQB, but pretty much anything smaller than mid-size) for "growing families" while thinking nothing of the actual space back there plus the fact that with the 3rd row allegedly being used, you have killed what little cargo space there is in a vehicle that small. Just dumb for any maker to do that but because it's Benz, the resident fan gives them a pass without regard for actual usability. .

GTFO here! That Benz interior has already been sharply criticized as being cheap. And I quote (via MT)... "The cabin is well-made, but the materials are decidedly entry-level, which makes some sense as it shares its innards with the less expensive—and gas-powered—GLB SUV. Aside from faux-leather seating and some soft-touch surfaces, there's a lot of black, ordinary plastic. The flimsy temperature control switches are especially disappointing." Oh and this... And it can keep that useless 3rd row. No one in their right mind is using that. You will not find those same criticisms of the GV60. Face it. The EQB is literally outclassed by the faster charging, better looking, longer range, new kid from S. Korea but you keep on trying to sell that sizzle lol.

They now have five different trims of the Telluride in SX term and ALL are above $50K now, which means they are selling plenty at that price hence the aging of more trims in that price range. The rest of your sidesteps your assertion that somehow Hyundai and Kia can't sell cars in that price when they clearly can. What Tesla does is 100% irrelevant to your claim about Kia and Hyundai so bringing them up was pretty pointless IMO.
-
Both of them sell two highly sought after vehicles that are both priced well above $50K (Palisade and Telluride) and that's just for starters. Clearly most folks have accepted that they can play in a higher price bracket so long as it is a worthwhile product. Maybe you need to rethink how Kia and Hyundai can market their wares seeing as how your view of them is still stuck in a 1990s mindset about them.

Would not be “surprising”. Thanks a lot autocorrect lol. -

It is sized between the Equinox and Blazer so it's not really a direct competitor but the vanilla styling will probably appeal to the Honda bore me crowd. It is also probably starting at lower price than the Blazer so higher sales would not be surpassing but it sure as hell won't be due to the Blazer being inferior in any way, as your post implies. -
Why in the hell is there even a debate about issues with a completely new FIRST YEAR product? Regardless of price or powertrain, sometimes (believe it or not), $h! happens, even for Honda. What GMC does to fix said issue is the key here so making endless excuses about why its BS for it to brick like that means not one thing here. Just sounds like bitching for the sake of just bitching. Maybe nitpicking is a kinder word here but either description fits here IMO.
