I take Consumer Reports with a huge grain of salt. Any publication that has Audi AND BMW on a "most reliable" list deserves a little scrutiny.

Thanks. It's only been in the last five years that I have decided to move my health into my top 10 lol when it should have happened the first time I tore my right knee (at 19) playing football (not organized Football) and not getting it looked at. The lessons learned are many. I agree. See above response as to why.

Sometimes you get the MRI. Other times the MRI gets you. Probably going to have way too much down time this year due to not one, but two different hip surgeries (left and right) in the cards this year. Ugh but if it takes away the pain, it'll be worth it. Just throws a monkey wrench into some of my creative endeavor plans this year.

I know that scene so well! Red Forman is my hero lol. I also have that exact car as a Matchbox car... and it sits right next to... And yes, even at 50, I am still a big kid when it comes to cars.

Whatever man. What you find "dumb", I found appropriate for the moment. That's why they're called "emoji's" or "reactions", neither of which require any kind of wording on my part, if I so choose. Sorry that bothers you so much that you have wasted half a page "not calling" me out but it's your issue and yours alone. All this has done is proven why I didn't engage earlier. Did you pick up on my statement to not engage with you on your first post, even after he has now stated said thing twice? Seriously. Move on. -

Meanwhile, I provided not one, but two sources that DO NOT have the S-Class as the best. I don't care about your personal opinion on it. No one here is surprised by your assertion that it is the best. However, that's not what you said above so stop moving the damn bar and just accept that not all believe as you do, including much more qualified automotive media folks. Exactly. Easy to confuse the two when the Best or Nothing chose “nothing” as far as efforts to give these truly distinguishable names from their ICE counterparts. Strange how that is never brought up by the same folks who deride Cadillac for their naming schemes. -

That's what I am gathering form reviews. No doubt, they went in with tech in mind and it shows and that's what is expected from a company like Mercedes. Where they did not go in, apparently, was on the visual aspect and no about of fanboy growing over it changes that fact. All this attention to the interior (too much with that hyperscreen if you ask me but to each their own) but completely dropping the ball on the exterior is simply baffling at this price range. -

Umm, I'm guessing you didn't read the part about the EQS stating the smallness of the interior in an S-Class sized package. Seems to me, in this case, a frunk would be a plus, which I positive you would be touting here had they actually included one. Way to show that fanboy card here. That is a whole other level of denial to act like its shape is anything other than a boring looking piece of worn bar soap. Just about every publication out there has stated or alluded to the same issue with the exterior of the German bar of worn soap. And don;'t give us this nonsense about drag coefficient. Hyundai gets great range out of their EVs and none of them resemble the bastard love child of a worn out bar of soap and a disinterested jellybean. -

Are you high? No trickle down tech at all? Not a single thing? Guess all those GM racing programs are just for $h!s and giggles? I'm guessing it never occurred to you that there is more than one way to pass down this tech. You don't have to waste money on a niche super volume car that only 50 people can afford when you have a proven formula behind other programs that lend this trickle down tech. And let's not forget, since you brought up the 959, that a fair number of the hypercars and such are not even legal in this country. Why would GM aspire to that exactly? From the 959 to the AMG Project One, these provide some sizzle and bragging rights for said companies but what good is it if you can't even sell them in a large portion of the industrialized world? Why would GM EVER want to gamble with that when their racing programs already fill the "trickle down tech" void?

A lot of wishes and fishes here but the dream of seeing another performance model above the Vette is just that, a dream IMO. We will just skip the fact that GMs possible ace up the sleeve here is a ZR1 that could be 90% of what I see being asked for here (like weight reduction). As stands now though, any performance model above the Vette will still be called a Vette, in one form or another.

Or you could just stop beating this particular dead horse. BTW, that Ferrari wastes most of that near 1000HP with that paltry 590 foot-lbs and for MORE than double the money of said 911. And why in the hell would GM waste R&D dollars on another ICE sports car that YOU want to be above the Vette (when it is clearly NOT needed) when they are going all EV? At that point, that little Italian trash will be as irrelevant as the horse and buggy. Just stop this stupid crusade of yours already. It's just old, dumb, repetitive, and just beyond any further explanation at this point.
