  1. It's Japanese. AWD/4WD. V6.
  2. Man, this one is giving you guys fits, lol. What I bought is a pretty overlooked model. Some may not even know about it at all.
  3. While I am a fan of the current GC, that's not what I got. And it's not a Highlander, either.
  4. It was listed in one of the last 3 posts.
  5. Hell no, it ain't no van! Never, lol! ccap- You're going in the right direction.
  6. It will serve as primary family transportation for the time being. So more than 2/3 doors. It is NOT European. So- -More than 2/3 doors. -Used. -Not an I4. -Not Euro. -Not a compact car. -Replaced the 4Runner. -Primarily for wife.
  7. I like where you're going with this, but I think there would be too much overlap at the top end. There needs to be a proper S Class competitor, and something above it, but Idk about both of those, an El Miraj, and Ciel. I think one of the latter would have to serve as one of the former. And while we're at it, let's see a Cien-esque supercar.
  8. Would be awesome, but no. I needed better gas mileage, not worse, lol. He said it was NOT a GM auto. How about Camry Hybrid? Tis not a Camry, or an I4.
  9. Going to be staying in the Ballwin area. Working on Manchester Rd somewhere. Wife got an awesome offer from St Luke's Hospital we can't pass up. I'll see if can dig up a pic or two. Also, not a small car of any kind.
  10. Didn't you just get that a few/handful of months ago..? That was a sharp lookin' vehicle. Yeah, back in May of last year. And worse, I just put a 3" lift and 33's on it back in November. It had to go, though. We are moving to STL in a few weeks, and the size, gas mileage, and practicality are just unacceptable for a city vehicle. I hated to let it go, but it had to be done. Hopefully I can pick up an older FJ in the future as a dedicated off-road toy.
  11. AFAIK, the the XC70 is pretty solid, but I've seen issues on the XC90s. I'd personally stay away from them. Then again, I'd personally stay away from several that people have recommended so far.
  12. Sadly, the 4Runner is no longer with us.
  13. No, though I saw a gray stick ATS-V sedan yesterday at a dealer, and damn, was it sweet! I'll let the next poster pick the next hint- Would you rather know who the vehicle is for (me or wifey), or if it replaced a vehicle in the house hold.
  14. Very good guess, and while I did actually try to buy another one recently, someone beat me to it. So, not a 335i.
  15. After seeing it in person, the new Civic is damn ugly. I don't care how good the thing drives, the looks are a deal breaker.
  16. I applaud Cadillac for this, and I'm thrilled with the prospect of another small RWD sedan. But I'm having difficulty seeing how this will work. It seems like using the Alpha platform for this wouldn't allow for a car to be appreciably smaller than the ATS. And still be usable, anyway. It may not be a point of contention for many, but the BMW 3 Series is much roomier in the back than the ATS. It truly leaves room for a car to slot below it. With the ATS already being so tight, and starting so low in price, I wonder about the merit of this decision. Perhaps it'll use a new, smaller platform, instead? That would be awesome. As for the rest in the segment, the CLA is far removed from anything resembling a compact sport sedan, and it remains to be seen whether BMW's foray into this segment will be FWD or RWD. There are conflicting reports at this time, so it's hard to call. If it's a FWD UKL chassis-based car, Cadillac will certainly have an upper-hand here. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
  17. Over the years, I have done many of these now, especially with those among us who came over from MT. So, staying true to tradition, let's hear some guesses on what made it into the Frisky household this time. I'll start off with ONE hint- It's used.
  18. They need to. This has been a no-brainer they've let go for a long time now.
  19. Forget the 700lb weight loss compared to the current Acadia, how much heavier is this than a current Terrain? Because it's a dog in I4 guise.
  20. Bad color choice is what hurts it I think. That 80s blue just won't cut it IMO. Some different color combinations would be nice. I actually LIKE the blue, lol. It's the shape and location of the contrasting silver bits, and the overall sculpting and shape of the interior I don't like.
