Sick lists, fellas.

The center stack is really quite different. As usual, they nailed the interior appearance and feature front, but this segment lives and dies on how well the car actually drives. Judging by previous attempts, I have difficulty believing this car is even more exciting/athletic than a standard Golf. Or much quicker.

I think they were at C&D. There were no interior shots of the Tundra, but this piece mentions it received a new instrument cluster, so I would assume they got matching pieces. Also in question is if the mild changes they made to the front of the TRD Sequoia extend to other trims. I would think, but then again.....

Actually just found pictures elsewhere. Looks like the Sequoia got a new dash and instrument cluster. About time.

I just had a customer tell me, "If the car was perfect, I'd give it some thought." in regards to a $7,000 2006 325xi with 98K on it. Okay sir, you have a nice day, now.

Chevrolet News:2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 To Begin At $40,995
Frisky Dingo replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Why would you refuse to pay sticker? Colorados don't have incentives anyway, and there's only about $1,500 of markup in a loaded Colorado. -
The Sequoia is begging for an updated interior at the very least. You can do better than this Toyota.

Odd. I notice very little difference on my GTI. I cut up traffic like a madman on my morning commute and this morning managed 27.1, with temps in the 20's here. That's all city driving, in Sport setting, using paddle shifters.

Chevrolet News:2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 To Begin At $40,995

This truck is actually a worthwhile upgrade over the Z71. The Tacoma TRD Pro is not over the standard Off Road. If I were buying such a vehicle, my choice would be- 1) ZR2 2) Tacoma TRD Off-Road 3) Colorado Z71 -

So my worst-case-scenario price was still conservative. -

Negative. Feel free to make one, though.

The current GM full-size SUV's feel flimsy and cheap. It's terrible.

Okay, List 1- Lamborghini Diablo GT Toyota Furtuner w/ 2.8 Diesel Audi RS6 (C7) TVR Sagaris Honda NSX-R Really hated leaving off the 959 and a few others, but.....

Good thing they didn't. It's one of the things that make it look massively better than the Tahoe/Burban.

I disagree. Everything from the angle of the pillars, to the door handles, to the body lines looks like the Chevy. Put a Chevy grille on it (hell, just the bow tie), and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I wouldn't spend money on a new Tahoe/Yukon/'Burban. They feel cheap and flimsy to drive. They're priced crazy. Also, earlier today I saw an Avalanche with a (model-specific) camper shell on it. It was rather bizarre looking, and I had no idea such a thing existed.

So with Trump's immigration ban being the headline everywhere you look, I thought this would make for a good 'UDG' thread. There will be 2 lists as part of this one- List 1 Rules: 1)These are your only vehicles. 2)Must be production models. 3)Any era is allowed. 4)Your choices must be built by a foreign auto manufacturer AND NOT OFFERED FOR SALE IN THE US. List 2 Rules: Same as above, but the vehicles can be sold in the US. Still must be foreign-made, though.

The Passat is a great option in this class, and very overlooked and underrated. The most room in the class, I'd say the best ride/noise levels in class, high refinement levels, and gas mileage and performance that are still on par with the class average. It doesn't drive as sharp as a 6, and it may not be the most head-turning design, but if you want a car with high functionality, good road manners, and that gets the fundamentals right, it's hard to beat. The R Line is a phenomenal value.

This thing looks like a shameless ripoff of the Tahoe/Suburban's styling. I don't like this thing having a TT V6, but the GM full-sizers feel like they're held together with rubber bands and paper clips, so this HAS to be better. My ruling is Ford by default.

A RWD Durango R/T starts @ 42K. 45K for AWD. This will be nowhere near as luxurious as the SRT Grand Cherokee. There's no reason why they can't start this in the low 50's.
