  1. Okay, 2nd question? For the new cars, can they be non-2017/2018?? Like, would a still new 2015 or 2016 work?
  2. Japanese Family Ride- Lexus GS-F Spanish DD- SEAT Leon Cupra 300 ST American Off-Roader- Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock British Luxury- Bentley Continental GTC Speed Italian Weekender- Lamborghini Aventador S German Track Car- Porsche 991.2 GT3-
  3. GREAT lists so far guys! I'm working on one now.
  4. This Dream Garage thread is going to be similar to one I did recently where you have to pick from certain choices to fill certain criteria, or roles. But this time it will be based on nationality rather than price. You will have mostly the same roles in this one- * One off-road vehicle- Must be a truck or SUV. * One daily driver- Absolutely NO dedicated sports cars or sports coupes- so no Mustang, Camaro, Chally, etc. * One weekend/fun car- Anything sporty goes for this one, but must be street legal. * One track car- Anything intended mostly, or exclusively for track use here- Atoms, BAC Monos, etc. Does not have to be street legal. * One family vehicle- Must have at least 4 doors- can be hatch, sedan, or CUV/non off-road geared SUV; NO trucks *One cruiser/lux/GT vehicle- Must be a car that is not outright sports or supercar- Ferrari California is okay, 599 GTO is NOT; Dodge Challenger is okay, Viper is NOT. Now, one choice must hail from each- * UK * Germany * Italy * Japan * U.S. * Your pick from any OTHER region- Mexico, France, etc Have fun!
  5. Haven't really been partaking in these, but I've seen a white 991 GT3 and Mantis Green McLaren 675 LT every day on my way to work and back for about the past month and a half. The GT3 is owned by the owner of the Dent Wizard they are parked at, and the McLaren belongs to friend. We sold a completely blacked out 488 to one of our customers a few weeks back. It was stunning. And speaking of Bentaygas, we are supposed to be getting one in the next few weeks.
  6. It's not just price, because we've selling ours for MSRP. There's people that just genuinely want them and will buy without heavy incentives. VW could easily just bring them back.
  7. Not understood what I was driving? I don't even know how to answer that.
  8. There was nothing remotely negative about it. You chose to interpret it as such so could pick a fight because you are of feeble and childish mind.
  9. Considering what I do for a living, that's an incredibly daft statement. Which shouldn't surprise me.
  10. ZF's 8AT in even the most mediocre applications absolutely shames it.
  11. Great choice, man!! Easily the most overlooked and underrated enthusiast car on the market. Those in the know.....know. It delivers all the things you look for in a sport sedan in spades. It's basically the M5 that BMW doesn't build anymore. Congrats, and I am genuinely jealous!! And major props for getting the manual!!
  12. It's great in the trucks. In the performance offerings, it's a joke. Numerous sources have also criticized it for being slow to respond in manual mode, having slow/jerky downshifts, etc.
  13. It's easier to some up what I liked about it- Interior is very nice. Beatifully (non)designed, high-quality, great fit and finish. Audio system (Bowers & Wilkins) was very good. Steering was nice. Nicely weighted, not too sharp or dull. Just how I like it in an SUV. Exterior styling is lovely. That's about where it stops. Ride was just okay. Engine felt and sounded really bad. Transmission got confused and shifted hard on several occasions. Infotainment system and controls are needlessly complicated. Plowed horribly. I've never driven an SUV that was so quick to give in to massive understeer, especially at such low speeds, and with such grippy tires. The overall feel of it was just very massive and ponderous. Felt more like a Suburban than an X5 or Land Rover. The new Q7 feels like a hot hatch in comparison. I got out of it, and right into a 2017 Touareg Executive, and even though the VW is underpowered, and woefully outdated from a technology/feature standpoint, it drove and felt much better. Shame they don't update it and drop in a V8 or boosted 6.
  14. Wow, man. That's a great combo!! I love that you actually picked M3 GT, rather than our watered down US market car. The E36 M3 is timeless, and in full-strength rest-of-the-world form, was a high-water mark for the brand. And of course, I do miss my old Trail Edition 4Runner. A TRD would replace it nicely. I wouldn't even do anything to it!
  15. Literally every car they put it in. Every. Single. One. Have YOU driven them?? Because it sure sounds to me like YOU are the one just regurgitating other's thoughts in your attempt to defend GM, as usual.
  16. Dude, piss off. You're just making a fool of yourself by being a tool for no reason. Anyone on here who remotely knows me knows how much I love the SS. I've gone so far as saying numerous times it's the best sport sedan on sale.
  17. Just drove the new XC90 for the first time and really, really, really disliked it. I can't even begin to wrap my head around how that thing gets so much praise. You bought this?!?!
  18. Oh, no!!! In all seriousness, even if they do make it over here, I think the market is too big and too far gone for them to ever catch on. The market is already oversaturated and brands that actually have a buyer base and good reputation are having it tough- just look at Mazda. We are at a point where the car industry is going to start getting smaller with less models and less MFR's, not more.
  19. Lastly, for @ykX Something kinda old-school, but kinda modern, and all badass- Porsche 993 RS And for something new and totally amazing, combining insane attention to detail with obscene engineering and speed- Pagani Huayra Roadster
  20. For @A Horse With No Name, I shall give him this pair- Since he seems to have such an affinity for this era of Ferrari styling- Ferrari 328 GTB And for the new car, something nice and posh- Lincoln Continental, perhaps in this stunning green
  21. @Stew is next up, and for him I have- This totally nuts monster, and 1 of only 250 made- Beetle RSI I would have liked to given him a Wrangler for off-roading, but seeing as in how it is one of the popular 'DG' picks, I settled on something still nice with decent capability- V6 Cherokee Trailhawk
  22. The next pair is for @ccap41- The Terminator is no stranger around here, but the car that arguably prompted it came from Steve Saleen- New Edge S281 (in Comp Orange, of course) For the new car, something that I haven't see picked because it just came out, and I think would be right down his alley- Audi RS3 Hatch
  23. Okay, first pair is for @oldshurst442- He gets an ultra rare bird that I've never seen picked- LT1 Formula Firehawk And for his new car, one of the few current BMW's that I think he likes- M6 Convertible
