  1. This one is going to be about as predictable as they come. Porsche 918 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E Hybrid VW Golf GTE LaFerrari McLaren P1
  2. I'd love to give the new RS3 a try, so to fit with it's spicy, bold character, I'm checking into Nacho Mama's. This is decidedly Tex Mex, but they're not trying to convince you otherwise. A favorite among locals, this place has amazing sauces, incredible margaritas- that they serve through the drive-thru- and the best enchiladas I've ever had. The smoked pork ones with sour cream sauce are mind blowing good. Last up would be The Crossing. I've never been, but I hear great things, and the always changing tasting menu is right down my alley. I'd take the new Land Rover Velar.
  3. Delmar Blvd- more affectionately known as 'The Loop'- is a handful of blocks long strip of concert venues, bars, boutiques, and outstanding eateries. There's almost not a bad place on the entire street, but for this one, I'm hitting up Chinese Noodle Cafe in a BMW M5, circa E28. Everyone in here has had the typical fast and casual Chinese fair that is so prevalent here in America. This place isn't that. This place is mouth watering, authentic noodle bowls; delectable and succulent egg rolls, and the best sweet and sour chicken you have ever had. All served by a sweet little old Chinese lady who has run this place for ages. The M5 would blend right in this diverse mix of young locals, music fans, and day tourists.
  4. Next up, I would pay Katie's Pizza & Pasta a visit in a new Aventador S. This rather unassuming little place serves up spectacular authentic hand-crafted pizzas and pasta entrees using locally sourced ingredients. Being surrounded by parking for several other adjacent businesses, the Aventador would cause pandemonium from passers by.
  5. First up, I'd take a new Camaro ZL1 Convertible to Square One Distillery & Brewery Square One The ZL1 would be a perfect match for the setting. Square One pairs excellent food- the apps are to die for- with their own brewed beers, distilled bourbons, and in-house aged tequilas. A very unique and satisfying dining/drinking experience.
  6. Okay, we've all had our fun with outright enthusiast cars and their fabulous ICE engines, but now it's time to be a little more ecologically conscious. Rules- 1) Production cars only. 2) These are your only vehicles. 3) Any era and market is allowed. 4) MUST BE HYBRIDS!! 5) Maximum of 5 choices. Though if you wish to expand to a Top 10 after picking 5, that is fine. Have fun!
  7. Great choice, my man!! The Alltrack is an excellent little car. I would park one in my driveway along my GTI yesterday if not for needing one vehicle that is a little bigger and can accomodate several kids or adults for a long trip. I was hoping the new Tiguan would fill that void, but I'm doubting it now. As for your statements, the old Tiguan is plenty punchy, yes. But it's too small, rides poorly, and has poor mileage. The new one is all new and much, much larger.
  8. Great idea!! I have to go in for some minor scheduled surgery later and will prolly be doped up on pain meds the next few days, but I WILL post in here, and am looking forward to it!
  9. LaFerrari is a hybrid, so not allowed. But don't worry, a thread is coming that will allow it.
  10. @Cubical-aka-Moltar You can expand to 10 once you have chosen your top 5.
  11. 6-10 Miura SV 550 Barchetta Diablo GT CLK GTR Roadcar Continental GTC W12
  12. Q7 V12 TDI Ferrrari FF- The old (pretty) one Vantage V12 S 7MT Aventador S McLaren F1 High Downforce Kit
  13. Alright, we have reached the pinnacle of engines in terms of how many cylinders are stuffed in a block in widely produced cars. Although this has primarily been the stomping grounds of European brands in late years, there WERE other brands than made V12's. Cadillac, Lincoln, and Toyota among them. The rules are the usual and as follows- 1) Production cars only 2) Any era and market is allowed. 3) These are your only vehicles. 4) Cars must have 12 cylinders, obviously. NO HYBRIDS!! 5) You have 5 choices. After creating a top 5 list, you may expand it to 10. Enjoy.
  14. My Ferrari pick is admittedly a one-off, and the 675LT is a very recent offering, so if those two didn't count I would put the 599 GTO and outgoing Aventador Roadster in their places.
  15. Used cars- Carrera GT- My favorite car of all time, I can't be without this one. Ferrari F12 SP America- Special occasions and date nights. 675 LT- Track car. And finally, a Singer 911-
  16. New cars between 50K and 125K- TT RS- My daily when solo. Q7 Prestige- For road tripping and people hauling. Aston Martin V8 Vantage- Occasional fun car, British fix.
  17. New cars under 50K- Mustang GT Premium Vert- Top down fun with my kids, occasional driver. Tundra TRD Pro- For hauling stuff and having fun on dirt roads and whatnot. Golf Alltrack- Bad weather car, around town errand-runner.
  18. So we own all 10 of these vehicles together, correct?
  19. The suspension and all that stuff is great. It's just lacking power.
  20. I am a firm believer that MFR's design cars with easily fixable flaws intentionally so that they can do a facelift to address complaints and spur sales again. There are precious few makers who I think are putting their best foot forward with every model introduction.
  21. My 6-10 list- V10 TDI Touareg R8 V10 Plus Spyder Gallardo Balboni 6MT Elemento Sesto LFA
  22. E60 M5 6MT Carrera GT Audi RS6 Avant Huracan Performante Viper Anodized Edition
  23. Eh. I'm tempted, but no. But I do admire your creativity.
