  1. Damn, it is stunning. The current one never quite fully lit my fire, but this one sure does. Car is gorgeous.
  2. They're picking up 100whp with just a 93 tune. Some TT RS's are running mid 10's with tune, and a few bolt-ons. Stock tires. They're monsters.
  3. Throw in a few options and you're nearing Cayman GT4/Boxster Speedster territory. And those cars have much greater exclusivity and a proper N/A flat-6.
  4. On the Jetta?? Most likely not. Just buy an A3. They're fantastic.
  5. US market is getting the Arteon. It's confirmed. Won't hit lots until next Spring at the earliest, though.
  6. Now that it will be on MQB, I'm very curious about the new GLI. My lease will be up on my GTI around then, and it could be a possible replacement.
  7. Lame name, but goodness it's pretty.
  8. Sounds like a proper Type R. Let's lop off all those ungainly body protrusions while we're at it. Then we might be talking.
  9. But Bentley owners aren't using them in the manners I mentioned, so there's that. They're using them as regular drivers, which Flying Spurs are superior at, so my point stands.
  10. The FF is awesome. It's simply an innovative, high-performance usable GT. I just don't get superplush, crazy expensive uber-lux SUV's. I can't justify something like the Bentayga sitting on my showroom floor right now. It was 271K new. And as great as it drives, and as lovely as the interior is, it's near worthless as an SUV in my eyes. I would never take it off road for fear of damaging the beautiful paint and wheels. I'd never allow animals inside to mar the gorgeous hides and veneers. I'd never put anything dirty and oversized in it for fear of scratching the headliner or staining the home-worthy carpet. And at that point, why not just buy a Flying Spur? At least it sits on it's own platform.
  11. Sacrilege. And appalling.
  12. Awesome! Unlike Ferrari, Lamborghini has at least a history of doing things other than bleeding edge super cars and hardcore GT's. The Estoque and Urus have much more precedent than a Ferrari SUV.
  13. I really dig that. The kind of funkiness Scion would have come up with in it's early days.
  14. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it makes 0 sense, there's no precedent for it in anything mainstream, there's no other basis to the claims up to this point- in fact an insider said it'd have 'less than 300hp', it'd be awfully unreliable, and it'd hurt the image of the vehicle.
  15. Thing is just too damn cool!! It's nostalgic in all the right ways, and man......it just pushes my buttons, lol.
  16. No real internal issues, but there were plenty of problems with turbos, fuel system, and oil/cooling systems. I was at a Ford dealership when they came out. That said, I'm calling it, there's NO WAY the Wrangler is getting a 368HP turbo 4. That's more power than AMG is putting out in theirs, and way more than all the usual suspects- VAG, BMW, etc. I bet money that '3' is supposed to be a '2'.
  17. For an everyday driver, I have no problem with going electric. So long as the range is there, and the price is competitive. I actually look forward to the VW Bus that is coming in a few years.
  18. Sad to see that dramatic swoopy styling go.
  19. I did no such thing. I simply pointed out the difference in equipment between high end luxury cars, and high end trucks. I personally think luxury trucks are stupid.
  20. I'm not saying they do. But on the flipside, why not put them on there? They have the same benefit in a truck as they do in a car. I'm saying there's room to put more equipment on them. And the MFR's clearly seem to think there's buyers if they do. Lot's of truck buyers obviously do not use their trucks in the conventional manner. They're a status symbol as much as a Mercedes S Class. Throw more stuff on it, people will buy them. Just to have that image.
  21. The question you are asking makes no sense. Do sedans have truck features? Of course not, they're not trucks!! Truck features =/= luxury features and technology.
