  1. Piss poor numbers are Mitsubishi and Mazda. Nearly 200k sales in a month is nothing to sneeze at
  2. LOL, seriously? i mean you can't really be serious about any of this?
  3. 1. I think the Continental is a MUCH better looking car than the XTS (bathroom fixture door handles not withstanding). but i don't think the XTS is really ugly as much as awkward and I wouldn't kick out a V-Sport. 2. MAYBE the new mid-engine design would make a sweet Hybrid AWD mid-engine rocketship Cadillac Supercar, but I don't think using the Current f/r C7 would work all that well.
  4. LOL, poor, poor boy. Loves pointing out negatives, but guess what, your chosen manufacturer isn't a special snowflake, they have their sales slumps too.
  5. Not straw men at all. Every point I made is still valid and the one point you made last, i already had. If trump wants to bring jobs back, why not bring the ones he shipped over? he cannot be a business man first and foremost anymore. He is the president, a public figure. if he want to stay a businessman concentrating solely on himself, he should have never ran for president. the truth is though is that he is going to make things into what benefits him and him alone. his business interests, his pockets, he will run over us all for his sake. All of this is VERY obvious. And just because you disagree with someone's view does NOT make their argument a straw argument but rather shows how the OP wants to validate themselves only so they can remain "special". Oh, and you cannot tell me with a straight face that all those GOP supporters who were for say, Cruz, Carson etc, didn't end up voting for Trump where their chosen candidate lost.
  6. Thought we were just picking out a specific vehicle for a brand that happened to have lower sales compared to last year right? I mean seriously dude.
  7. Yet total sales are quite a few thousand less than the Cherokee which means yes, that lower percentage is just as painful for the Mustang, especially since it doesn't have stablemates based on the same platform to make up the slack. We could bring up the Fusion and the fact it is down 25% despite a decently heavy refresh and new submodels for 17.
  8. And it is less than a year away from a MAJOR MCE. And that just happened to be a VERY huge month last year. Mustang Sales for example, where down at least that much. My big worry is that the new Compass will no doubt be quite a bit pricier than the current one and the Patriot which will drive sales down comparatively in concert with having 1 less model to sell. Oddly enough I think you are more optimistic here than I am lol.
  9. When it comes down to the bottom line that is all politicians really care about at all. that said, the GOP takes it multiple steps further by trying to force their beliefs on people and even block civil rights to certain groups because they simply don't want them to have them and that is a HUGE problem.
  10. remember, they are losing the Patriot altogether which generally accounted for 10 to 12k sales a month and not replacing it. Sales will be down for sometime unless the Compass picks up all of the lost Patriot/Compass sales or all the Patriot interest goes to the Renegade which i don't really see happening.
  11. You realize that trump is really as establishment as Hillary is. As i say, Hillary is controlled by Wall Street, trump IS Wall Street. Seriously the ONLY real non-establishment Candidate was Sanders and unfortunately the DNC screwed him. Remember, it was NOT the Democrats as a whole as most of us REALLY disagreed with the way sanders was done. Clinton was horrible, but Trump makes her look like the best candidate ever. I mean seriously, what is being a little whiny baby on Twitter really accomplishing? Or threatening automakers while shipping your own product in from Mexico? Such a freaking hypocrite. And self-serving politics? i mean have you ever done ANY actual research that didn't involve Fox News? ALL the GOP cares about is themselves and their money in their own pockets. To say otherwise is to simply be drowning in utter ignorance.
  12. That is to be expected as the Patriot and current Compass are phased out, along with the Dart and 200. This is absolutely expected and no big deal.
  13. I was a Republican for 18 years and only changed last year. The GOP party are the biggest special snowflakes their are. They HATE people having the same rights they have, they try to force their religion on everyone and decry those that don't believe exactly as they do. The GOP has become a party of special little snowflake babies that cry when they feel like someone getting a right, or not believing the exact same as they do means something is being taken from them. The party has changed and nowhere near for the better and whiny little Trump who cries every time he doesn't get his way and needs his special place to protect him and his baby VP from freaking Broadway actors is the epitome of the poor state the GOP is in. When ou are so convoluted you think because someone has a different view from you or wants the same rights as everyone else that makes them a "special snowflake", when in fact it is your own selfishness and want to keep your ball for yourself that indeed makes YOU, the GOP, the team of "special snowflakes".
  14. Really interesting seeing the huge gains in CUV sales and mostly losses in the car ranges. Know the Rogue beat out the Rav 4 for Dec and very interested to see how it stacked up to the CR-V. Maybe the Star Wars Rogue one mash-up really helped haha.
  15. I kinda like the XTS V-Sport hehe. Of course I would MUCH rather be able to et the turbo 3.6/AWD in the IMHO much better looking 14+ Impala or 17 Lacrosse.
  16. The trend continues. THe bi sellers in he car market saw some decent losses, but the gains in the RAV4 and especially the Highlander are rather impressive.
  17. Over 40k Rogues? Color me impressed.
  18. I know what you mean about the rarity of a Verano Turbo. i actually searched for them when i was looking and they were few and far between and didn't find a sinle manual. I understand what you mean about the hatchback versatility. i loved the all the room and cargo I could hold in my Patriot and the bu has a surprising amount of interior room and cargo ability for it's size thanks to being a hatch.
  19. How about a Verano Turbo? You can Fusion Titaniums with AWD and the 2.0T EB for very good prices (well into the teens). I would run away very quickly from the Fiesta as well as the Focus unless you are after the manual. Oddly enough all my coworkers that bought either a Fiesta or Focus (and in 1 case both) are now driving Camrys. If room is important I would be wary of the pre 15 Cruze as I found it pretty cramped (not been in a Verano so i don't know if they are any roomier or not, but TURBO 2.0 lol.
  20. Ohhh, ATS are so fun
  21. I have read that too. It seems like their packaging gets better ith each new vehicle. One thing I loved about my Patriot was the cavernous interior for it's small size.
  22. I like the new CRV which is nice considering I despise the current one lol. I am really interested in the new Compass though I really hope it gets a version of the new Turbo 4 at some point even if it is only tuned for 200 or so HP.
  23. I can't wait, especially for the truck! Still love the current Will's though and the amazing thing is that the curent gen, around since 07, still sales like hotcakes.
  24. If they did it would so be on my radar for my next car already.
  25. It was on a V6 with the Track package, but looked amazing. I am torn between it and Granite as far as which i like better. Yes it is terrible about both of them passing. My heart goes out to that family. i did read she had finished taping episode 8 so that should be a biter-sweet movie.
