Jeep News: Next Jeep Grand Cherokee To Use Alfa Romeo Bits
Stew replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
IMHO, this is a good thing. It is still RWD based and the current GC is unibody/fully independent suspension anyway. It also should come with some serious weight savings. I wonder if it ma get a little tidier in dimensions too since the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are now confirmed.- 43 replies

So, i got my music, but my left front tire apparently has a low leak and from the looks of the right front I am going to need an axle here soon. Wa planning on a new set of tires and new axles in the spring, along with a front brake pad upgrade since the brake based torque vectoring is kinda rough on the front pads. Today is just a bad time for this. i hate winter lol. I am onna get that tire checked I figure it may just need a patch and I can get b for a while longer.
-
That is so the truth.
-
I think once I get out of work I will start by cranking up the music, take the long and curvy way home, and put stormy through her paces.
-
Well, half the time I can't figure it out myself lol. Just makes it hard to even wake up of a morning though. I think it is a mixture of winter financial issues, vision issues I am having, nerve damage issues in my legs, and it is coming up on my birthday and then a few days after it makes one year since my best friend killed themselves. I know silly stuff, but I am pretty sure I am not all there haha.
-
Sorry all. i was just venting. Haven't really hid anything that happened in the last year and just a lot going on that tends to push down. I am also a manic depressive with clinical anxiety so look over me haha.
-
I hope so. not totally down and out yet, but I honestly can't take another year like last year.
-
Not a great day. One of those times I wonder if life is even worth it any more. 1 step forward is always 30 steps back.
-
I like this. Seems to be a very clean design in and out. i do wonder how reliable this incredibly complicated engine can be though.

it almost hurts to say it, but an XSE V6 could be a future purchase possibility.

I like it. Wouldn't mind a V6 XSE. Maybe Toyota is getting it's MOJO back. Do wish they hadn't went so crazy with the front fascia.

This is an impossible task so I will just go on what I am feeling right now. Favorite: Jeep. Just love their designs and capabilities. Daily; Grand Cherokee Trailhawk hemi Toy: Wrangler Rubicon Hardrock 2 door Least Favorite: Subaru. I hate the fact that they are using CVTs in everything now. i sucks for performance and really sucks off-road. Daily: Outback 3.6 limited Fun: 2018 WRX STi

Very nice. i am excited for the Bronco, though I am hoping for something closer to the original small Bronco, still midsize shouldn't be too big.

I think this was more an issue with the 3.1s? I know Ford 3.8s were horrible for headgasket failure, but the GM 3800 has been been pretty bullet proof.
-
Very true. And Olds or somebody from the north of our border, isn't it illegal to not run snow tires in the winter in parts of Canada?
-
Very true. Of course here I don't feel like the few days i does snow is enough to justify the investment in winter tires.
-
I like it pretty qwll until I get to that stupid spindle grill.

upgraded 5.0 with the 10 speed in a regular cab FX4? I can get on board with that Off-topic question though. Can that lower front spoiler or whatever be removed and does it serve an purpose beside being there for a minuscule improvement in fuel economy?

Kia News: 2018 Kia Stinger GT Is Something Very Different (UPDATE)

Wow, looks MUCH better than the leaked factory picture we saw a few months ago.- 18 replies

I am kinda torn. it certainly looks more modern and updated than the current one, but I am not feeling that upward kink in the rear appealing at all.
