  1. Moe hyperbole. they are actually paying down their debt at an incredible rate. the new platform and turbo 4 engines that will spread across the line are now out there, the new Compass looks to be a hit, The Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and new Ram are coming. The Compass looks to be a hit. The LX cars are cash cows as the tooling is long paid off and the Charger has a strong following in police fleets. The KSP for example uses almost exclusively Chargers. Despite a lack of updates, the Journey continues to post higher sales numbers each month while being a cash cow, as, again, the tooling is long paid off. Hellcat demand continues to outpace production capacities. They could be the number 1 seller in the world and you would still be predicting doom........
  2. Funny seeing as a couple months ago he said there was absolutely no intrest in a merger anymore. At least he should be laving soon.
  3. You realize VW was the number 1 seller in the world last year, right? Also, I am pretty sure this is actually a 5 door hatch instead of a 4 door coupe.
  4. Still has the same problem it had before. The 2.0/CVT combo is a complete dog that makes even a Renegade seem like a top fuel dragster.......
  5. I like it in an absurd sort of way, but for the price I can of much I would rather have.
  6. outside of a somewhat similar color, I don't see it. Everything from he body lines to overall design is completely different. Heck, the BMW sheetmetal turns in below the upper body-line while the VW does the complete opposite.
  7. In the heavy rain this morning, I realize the lack of a rear wiper on the bug is a bit of an omission.
  8. And for a while now the JK has had more demand that what they can actually produce.
  9. I agree, i don't really see any BMW here, maybe some A7 and A5 Sportback, but those are part of the family. I am excited that is on the MQB architecture and hope we get the 2.0 276 HP TSi with 4motion and maybe a manual? I know, the last part is the least likely......
  10. More or less. They are making the money of the current Wrangler, whose tooling has been paid of for a long time (Like Ford did with the Ranger, Panthers, and Fox cars), so I figured they would extend it's production as long as possible even beside the new one. I also get the distinct feeling there is something about the new Wrangler they are a bit apprehensive about. Be it the fact that it may have a bit of Aluminum in the body panels or possibly because the top will more than likely no longer be fully removeable as it is now.
  11. Well, I wasn't expecting it until 2020 anyway. Of all the vehicles they have, the Wrangler family is one they must simply get perfect.
  12. I am halfway expecting a 3 foot snow here in April
  13. Ok, how about this. Send the warm weather this way and we will send you our remaining cold and snow hehe.
  14. I wish it would just decide spring is here haha
  15. I think mother Nature is having a bi-polar Vortex. Day for yesterday it was warm with storms and chances of tornadoes. I wake up to snow on the ground this morning. Gotta love Kentucky weather.......
  16. Still think they are full of it, but hopefully the sheeple will buy some Impalas and Cruzes.
  17. Good bones, fun to drive, a 2.0 turbo that lives up to it's FE claim. He TUrbo is closer to a GTi than a regular golf. it gets the 2.0T, 6 speed manual, and the GTi's rear suspension and front brake based torque vectoring.
  18. I am thinking maybe sell the motorsports and z71. Keep the camry, 4x4 dakota, and Bug. The 2 are just taking up space right now. Hmmmmm Could still trade the bug when i am ready and use the on-time payments to build credit so i don't get raped on the interest rate next time haha. Truth is i didn't think i would have anyone interested in the bug for what i owe on it, but boy was i surprised lol.
  19. Very true, still hurts. i like that little car more than i realize haha.
  20. Everytime I get an inquiry on the bug I get sick to my stomach.........
  21. Oh very true, would be a blast while crawling
  22. I honestly think I would still go V6 because it is much quicker, should still get ok fuel economy, and you get the new 8 speed auto (pretty sure the diesel still makes due with the 6 speed). That would be awesome.
  23. I am gonna go back to driving the 4x4 and start putting money back for a down pay,emt on a, probably used in a year or 2, ZR2. It has my heart haha. 71 or Canton All-Terrain sans the chin.
  24. After much thought and deliberation I have to sell the bug, the Z71, and the MotorSports Dakota, leaving the Camry and 4x4 Dakota.
  25. GT350R also does rear seat delete to save weight. The solution to the Hellcat putting down power is called the Demon I love the fact that all 3 have unique personalities. Hellcat: GT good for a trip across the country with 4 people and all their luggage and you can even get it with 4 doors! GT350: High revving, sound of the gods V8 engine you want to rev just to hear it sing Camaro: Low torque supercharged beast with pleny of power and supercar handling.
