  1. I find nothing wrong with it. I it brings them sales, great. And hey, they started out as a tractor company and this isn't even their first SUV.
  2. The only GM vehicle I want. Watched many a video of the first drives and it is very impressive. Weirdly enough, I I priced out a similar Z71 and ZR2 and was within roughly 2500 of each other. the ZR2 is a freaking bargain.
  3. Not that the XTS has ever been a great looking car, but this is terrible.
  4. There are performance SUVs that are 3.5s, Isn't the Model X also like in the high 2s? I am also sure the 3.5 for the Trackhawk is conservative. And price wasn't brought up, just a statement that no CUV could beat any Vette which is wrong, and that isn't even including alder Vettes which could be MUCH slower. How about an 82 model? A year was not mentioned either btw. QUit being bitchy because someone said something you take as negative about a precious GM product. Off topic, but that 5.0 mustang 0-60 is basically dead even with my 2012 Turbo Bug. Just neat I think.
  5. Just because a car carries the Corvette name, doesn't automatically mean it will kill this and that. In fact, a Stingray would pretty well get whipped by an X5M o X6M in the quickness category. Never mind the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S and upcoming Hellcat Grand Cherokee. Anyway, this will easily become Alfa's volume seller.
  6. IMHO, they could go right back to selling them The public has a short memory. Did the Camry lose it's sales crown during the whole unintended acceleration fiasco? Nope. Despite that recalls and lawsuits are still out there for GM's ignition fiasco hasn't had the slightest bearing on GM sales. Especially with GM jumping into the diesel fray, i think it would be a mistake for VW to abandon them.
  7. I agree on the interior, looks great. i can't get past the Nissan style rear though.
  8. Wants more power, but to keep AWD. I tried to talk him into a 14 AMG E63 S wagon AWD. haha. that is a sleeper and a half.
  9. We usually don' get much of a winter here, at least as far as snow. I sill have my 4x4 Dakota too if i was needed. It would be a while anyways. My brother is already talking about selling/tradinhis ATS, it is AWD maybe he would give me a heck of a deal
  10. There are times when I honestly consider getting a used FR-S or BR-Z, but another part of me also wants something larger with AWD for my next vehicle.
  11. True and really, what has been tested besides the Abarth. that is the only 124 I would consider and that is only after seeing one in person and falling in love with it. in reality my top choice would be the 86, then the BRZ with the new sport package, then the Miata RF, then the Abarth, then the Miata roadster. Of course i guess this makes it obvious I am some averse to convertibles lol.
  12. I don't know why multiple sources would lie about it. The Miata has had some cushiness and body roll mixed in for the last few gens. hey still handle great sure, but they also tend to exhibit more body roll than you would imagine.
  13. 1 bright light in an otherwise sea of dreariness. Yes, they need more crossovers, but as of now they aren't beating anyone.......
  14. I loved my brother's 12 A5. Miss that car, had a chance to buy it. kind of wish i had.
  15. If that was all, then why not just buy the Miata........... FYI, the Fiat has the better suspension tuning, the Mazda the better powertrain IMO.
  16. Cadillac sill has a long way to go. going over all the sales number, BMW and Mercedes still decimated them.
  17. Yes, i am liking it more and more, but i think my choice for a daily would be a 2.0T AWD. Of course i am enamored with the Audi A4 and the new A5 has grown on me, so.....
  18. I bet the Allyrack is what is driving Sportwagen sales.
  19. Why would they lie? They got caught up on Moscow ting and will not do it again. The Alfa Giulia seems to be getting VERY good reviews.
  20. Excellent choices for me!
  21. He isn't going to sell off one of the only brands bringing in money and what I said is true. Dodge is needed for Alfa. Chrysler, well, IMHO, they have been dead for a while, as much as Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Hummer, and Mercury were before they got he chop.
  22. I have little doubt Chrysler will die, but Dodge is integral to being able to Amortize the costs associated with Alfa and a very pricey platform. Now, if they were spinning everything off, Alfa, Fiat, Maserati, etc too, then you may have a point. How the frig did it go from spinning them off to selling them off? I hate these wild jumps of assumptions.
  23. It has been a while since I read that, could have changed by now.
  24. Their tech, as in the Pacifica is top notch, which, btw, is the FIRST hybrid minivan. They are not followers at all, not in their tech. in introducing vehicles, maybe, bu they are getting there now. There are worse ideas than spinning off Jeep and Ram, especially if it makes them profit. Isn't marchionne supposed to be gone in like a year anyway?
  25. Hybrids are coming to jeeps, including the Wrangler. Also, you notice more and more companies giving SUVs/CUVs their lion's share of attention while their car lines get less and less. They are companies. they are in this thing o make profit. To make profit, you have to make what people are buying, and sadly that is less and less cars and more and more of the SUV/CUV types.
