  1. My guess would be they're only like 4-6 months apart, maybe less. That 2026 could turn into model year which could turn into middle of next year. I would never guess sooner but Kia/Hyundai seem to be on a roll. The Bolt needs to look better. Period. It could be for sale before or after the EV3, but if it still looks like a Bolt, it won't do well again.
  2. I feel this way about every single politician. They're all corrupt and they're so far away from the common person, they have zero conception of a middle class family. Trump, Kamala, neither one gives a crap about us. They both just say things to get votes. I'm sure you've heard sound clips of either side flippy flopping on a topic to appease the crowd they're in front of. I wish I could say it's a truly unique idea, but it isn't. There has been quite a few Chevy Berettas turned into race cars(drag cars) and they're all RWD. There's even a model kit of a drag Beretta. I mostly was RWD, just because. A FWD V8 with ~350HP/tq just doesn't sound as fun. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-85-7168-chevy-beretta-pro-street--1025592
  3. I knew I recognized those Mounds and the name "Cahokia"!
  4. I don't follow politics much, because both parties are complete trash, but weren't those tariffs left in place since the last time he was in office? I'll always wish for my first car again, 1995 Chevy Beretta Z26. If I ever fell into a bunch of money I would absolutely find one and have it freshened up along with paying a shop to put an LS under the hood and making it RWD. I wouldn't need some 4, 5, or 600hp car. I'd be perfectly fine with a bone stock 5.3 making like 350hp or so.
  5. It's not the best looking truck but, damn, that range is fantastic. I do love the overall package of this, outside of the lack of CarPlay.
  6. She's an assistant, not their head coach. She is still the first to have that position as a woman, but it's not their head coaching position. Dan Bylsma is their head coach.
  7. Any fan with half a brain knew they were a worse team than last year. I think they should be better than they are, but they're worse than last year before the season started. Now they're riddled with injuries, too.
  8. I guess I don't understand why it matters if it is a retail customer or a fleet customer. They've sold ~10,000 of them this year.
  9. Notice how they say "stall" and not "cancel" ? Just because they're delaying things, doesn't mean they're not committed to them. Just because they won't have 10 out by 2030, doesn't mean they're not committed. They still have multiple EV manufacturing plants going up. One in Michigan, one in Tennessee, and two battery plants in Kentucky. Yes, they've been delayed, but they didn't stop construction and just abandon the plans all together. They're spending billions on these plants yet somehow you and David don't think they're committed.
  10. Yes, but I was trying to stay brand to brand, because those are what are competing with each other. Also, you missed Cadillac and Genesis, if you're trying to group them all into one. The other reason I didn't group them all together is because those brands are badge-engineering the same vehicle with a different brand's logo. EV6 and Ioniq5? Blazer and Lyriq? But, yes, General Motors and Hyundai Motor Company has more EVs than Ford Motor Company.
  11. Why does that matter? That doesn't make the EV less of an EV. You're trying to dismiss it because it isn't for families and therefore it's less of an EV offering and effort by Ford?
  12. As far as I know, anybody can order an E-Transit. It's silly and petty to not include it as a Ford vehicle. I'm not finding anything saying you or I cannot purchase one and they have to be "fleet only". Ford has the Electric Explorer still coming out in Europe so that'd be a 4th offering in the EU. Also, it's the Capri(that isn't out yet), Mach-e, E-Transit, and also upcoming Explorer. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/feu/en/products.html
  13. Ford "isn't committed" but they have the exact same number of available EVs for sale right now as Hyundai, Kia, and Chevy. 3.
  14. Per your link, "What we've learned is that customers want choice, and so we're providing that choice, with a full lineup of EVs, hybrid, electric, gas and diesel products," said Lawler." Just because they're scaling back on the speed to getting more EVs out there, doesn't mean they're not serious or committed to them. They pushed back "several" EVs? Name 3. Heck, name one that isn't the 3-row one that was supposed to arrive next year or so.
  15. Not committed to the EV game? They made an EV version of their two most recognized nameplates, F150 and Mustang, and are both very respectable entries in the segment. Neither is a bad product by any means. They also have an E-Transit that accounts for roughly 10% of all Transit sales. Genuinely asking, What do you need to see to convince you they are "committed to the EV game"?
  16. My guess would be the 2nd gen of this and the F150 Lightning.
  17. No dealership network. They will be direct to customer sales, like Tesla and Rivian.
  18. Looking over their reservation process, that is not the case.
  19. When was the last time you priced something at $5.90 and that wasn't' considered "around $6.00"? Let's be honest, it's a couple years out and plenty of things could change. Stating it will be "around" $60,000 is much safer and likely more accurate than saying "under", when we all know how auto manufacturers do things. What was the last EV that actually same out spot on for their press released price when they show/announce it 2+ years out? Has there been any? Where'd you see this?
  20. @smk4565, weren't you dead-set on Elon keeping his word on a $25k vehicle?
  21. AFTER tax incentives. Don't Elon Musk this and advertise the price with savings built into that. They actually start around $60,000.
  22. I LOVE these old-school-style Casios/Armitrons!
  23. Because of the Astros, they now allow electronic communication between pitcher/catcher for calling pitches, PitchCom. Off all the bad things covid brought upon us, the Astros not having to face live crowds after getting caught cheating, is by far the worst.
  24. I'm fine with an attempt to steal signs. That is part of baseball. My issue is the way they went about it with cameras, video, electronics on player(s). Steal signs with your eyeballs, that's fair. That's part of the game. Putting a camera in centerfield and signaling to the batter what's coming is not fair nor legal. I know it means nothing, but it's just a gut feeling. It just REALLY feels like he was the one betting on baseball and his translator took the fall. Ohtani is just too internationally big for MLB to let him get caught and ban him. He has to be the #1 money-maker for the league on an individual basis, by a long shot.
  25. Like Ohtani? His "translator" "stole" from him. I would need to see concrete proof to convince me MLB just didn't want this story buried to keep their golden boy playing. Just for the record, I believe the wording was "lifetime ban". I wouldn't doubt if they eventually put him in.
