Oh yeah... I forgot. Stellantis dismantled the department. Some engineers from the SRT division (if you will) were taken to work for Stellantis' EVs including Kuniskis. And since then, Kuniskis is now head of Ram? Lots of movement in a short period of time...

I think the reliability mess is with the 5.7 Hemi and the DoD part of it. The 6.4 SRT is bullet proof. And I havent heard any problems with the Pentastar. Maybe the transmission? Yeah...the earlier SRT 300s were a stepping stone for the Hellcat versions. I get it why they stepped back from offering a hotter version 300 1. 300 styling was becoming stale at that time and sales were slipping and preferred to revamp the Charger instead. While doing so, because Dodge, the need was more pressing to offer potent muscle car power for the Challenger to outdo the two other pony cars from Ford and GM. 2. The 300 was not a muscle car. It was marketed as a luxury car with style. Mopar probably was not interested in re-inventing it as a muscle car and especially when they had the 4 door Charger and 2 door Challenger in their stable all ready to fill that niche. 3. I guess the idea of of expanding SRT did not cross their minds even THOUGH they offered a SRT 300 anyway. I guess they didnt want to go toe-to-toe with Cadillac Vs.

Why I am surprised at what you could accomplish with these apps? I am not oblivious nor naive about it. I guess its because I do not use it. That would be nice to store my CD and LP collection on iTunes. I distinctly remember telling you that I have lots of Greek LPs. 33s and 45s that I wanted to digitize. I havent done so yet. Maybe its about time to get with the program???!!! I am STILL pissed that I couldnt buy an Equinox EV 2 years ago when I changed both cars. My wife's and mine. I really really like the Equinox EV. My wife too. It would have been a fine addition to our family needs. Of course I would have still bought a non-GM sedan for myself. Maybe an Acura Integra or Civic Si instead of the Accord? Or even a new gen Camry???!!! (Yowza...what a terrible thought this is) -
1. Canadians are not missing, not crying that we cant buy American booze. And even if American booze came back on Canadian shelves, Im certain that ALL Canadians would just skip American booze... 2. Id rather American booze stay off the shelves rather than just a regular boycott. Why? Its a VISUAL reminder for ignoble, uncouth, oafish commoners such as this Christopher Swong fella. And it seems to piss him and others like him off even more. It takes the control right out of their hands. It gives them no hope whatsoever. 3. This mess that the Trump supports created also shows that Canadians do not need American distillers from the south. It shows that distillers from the south need Canada. 4. All the gaslighting he does is just like a child throwing a tantrum. Boo freakin' hoo Swong. Phoque distillers from the south Phoque the US

I love those last 300s. Probably my favorite of all the 300s in history. Then would be the '55 and then follwed closely by the '61 and '62. Sometimes I like the tailfins, sometimes I do not. Mopar Hellcated everything. Too damned bad they didnt Hellcat the 300.

Thanx for that info too. Makes sense... GM has a monetary tie-in with Time/Warner... LOL Pandora? Sounds like a great app. But Im not the one to pay for music that I already own. As far as music that I do not own. Well, I am waaaaaaay past that stage in life where I need to own music. Or rent it. I got plenty of bought music. All the standards possible. New standards? Again, I am waaaay past that stage. PS: I never understood the renting of music. But I do see where this technology fits in with the modern world. And if one has adapted to it, it will suck if one cant use it in their car when all of the other devices they own can have access to it. A car nowadays is an extension of one's personal smart devices. -
Phoque Maine Phoque Vermont Phoque Florida Phoque ANY motherphoquer that voted for Trump and phoque those that didnt vote at all And lastly Phoque the US

I dont know as I dont use these things. I prefer Google Maps over Waze but that is as far as automotive style apps for CarPlay or otherwise that I have an opinion for. Radio is still my choice of entertainment in my car. Albeit now its AM radio. Sports talk radio. I have a shyte ton of CDs that I have MP3ed on a USB that I use in my cars. I also used a youtube downloader to MP3 on said USB stick. In other words, I got a shyte ton of music on my USB stick. Personalized playlist with I dont know how much music. Hundreds of songs. Greek, disco, rock. Ill go weeks before I listen to the same song twice in my car. Youtube at home is where Ill learn about new music. Since I do not have an urgent need to learn about new music, youtube is effective enough. But thank-you for informing me about what GM is doing as I had NO idea. Ill agree, it sucks that they gate keep this way. I know you travel a lot, and Im assuming this app is worth gold to you. If you cant replace this app with a worthy one, yeah...I get the frustration!!! -
Is this a reason why American cars did/do not need to handle the curves? That is a very long stretch of straight road. That is a lot of speed carried by the bike. That was scary just me watching it. I would want to experience that kind speed in a motorcycle some day. But as the days move on in my life and I get that much older each day, that want and need to experience that kind of naked speed disappears slowly in proportion to my aging... I guess I survived this long in my life BECAUSE I did not have access to that kind of speed when I was younger and stupider.

I do not think GM will budge on the Apple CarPlay thing. GM has got their own software, as you know, and Im more than assuming and guessing that GM is betting all of their software egss into their own software development basket arrogantly not caring about anything else other than their own technology. Im also assuming and guessing that they are very confident in their software. I don not know how well their software works in the real world, and Im guessing not very good on how many youtubers are whining about it, but at the same time Ive listened to some other youtubers actually surprised that it worked well enough to even forget about Apple CarPlay. But most of the whining that Im hearing about is just that most users are familiar with Apple CarPlay and that they do not know GM's software all that well and have NOTHING to do with how well GM's software works. Also, with how many EVs they are selling at this point in time, which is substantial despite the current economical and political situations around us, Im again assuming and guessing that GM's beancounters are looking at those sales and saying "yeah...we do not need Apple CarPlay...phoque Apple and their CarPlay" Im also assuming GM and every other OEM has to pay a licensing fee for use of Apple CarPlay? If so, yeah I dont think GM will EVER go back to offer Apple CarPlay. All assumptions. I could be wrong. About subscriptions... If enough idiots pay for subscriptions from all OEMs, whether from Ford or GM or BMW or anybody else, get ready for this kind of thing to be a reality. Its the idiots that we have to look out for. And there is NO EFFIN' way we could stop those idiots in NOT paying for subscriptions. Good luck for all of us in this regard. -

I do not want tech in my cars. I do use apple car play for google maps or waze while I am driving to baseball parks I do not know where they are. But I could just as easily find them the old fashioned way of using google maps at home, like a regular McNally paper map, and just hop into my car and drive and observe the roads... I did use google maps earth street view to observe landmarks. So I am not entirely agaisnt modern technology. Its just that I do not want modern tech gadgetry in my damned car. All waze/google maps did in my car is that it made me lazy. And I hate that. Plus its more dangerous because now, I look at the car's TV screen more often that just observing the roads and street signs... So I guess I WILL be nixing GPS mapping in my car soon enough. I like digital gauges. But I find it soooooo stupid that digital gauges mimic analog ones. I would rather do the 1980s digital than today's. If we are just mimicking analog, Id rather the analog. Looks better too. 1980s style digital still seems futuristic and awesome to me. Id rather that for digital. Imagine how much nicer 1980s digital would look with LED greens and reds with the bars and stuff???!!! LED lighting with the analog gauges rock. It looks more luxurious. Especially with the high end analog gauges of a couple years ago in those high end cars. Of course this is just the aesthetic that I prefer. Ive ranted about push button start before. Hated it then with my Acura, hate it worse now with my Honda. I tolerate it with my Honda as its just a shytty 4 cylinder car. At least with the Acura, it was a V6. I prefer to start a more or less, powerful engine the old fashioned way. Insert the key. Turn key and feel the engine come alive through the ignition. Ironically, Ferrari with their F1 racing push button starting tech just made starting a vehicle like turning on and off an appliance. This kinda thing REALLY hits home with the advent of EVs...

You dont really need a car if you are only doing the Montreal downtown core along with Old Montreal. We do have a fantastic public and Metro (subway) system for that. Plus its walkable...in the summer/fall. Spring is rainy and slushy. Its your choice really on that for the Spring. Winter is doable if you do not mind snow. Its not that cold nowadays with climate change. Oh...we do have the REM that goes from Pierre Elliot airport to Downtown now. Like I said, no need for a car. YUL is actually a not too bad airport to accomodate visitors. THIS being the REM. Above ground subway. Its electric. Part of the solution that was going to be between YUL and downtown and a fast railway to Mirabel that NEVER materialized in the 1960s and 1970s. Which was a third of the fatal flaw of Mirabel that I was talking about earlier. SOOOOO.... we got a part of that solution in the mid 2020s. Better late than never. YUL still shares another fatal flaw with Mirabel. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. YUL is smack right in the middle of a very very populated city. Mirabel had the opposite of that. Mirabel was/is situated very very very far from the city it needed to serve. It was located there for political and economical reasons. The economical reasons was it was supposed to serve Ottawa as well. But...a highway or two was needed to be built linking Ottawa and Montreal VIA the town of Mirabel. Highway 13 and Highway 20 to be completed. Highway 13 is still a mess while Highway 20 being completed 10 years ago. Better late than again... Plus the railway way systems I mentioned earlier.

I knew about this. But thanks in re-introducing this knowledge to me. Neither NYC nor Montreal have anything to complain about regarding their problems as compared to Osaka Kansai LOL
-
Dorval airport or Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport to non-Montreal natives is a lot worse. I am too exhausted to start naming ALL the bloody things wrong with it but everything that NYC's 3 airports have as flaws, Dorval has those. Plus hundreds of others. Mirabel was constructed in the 1960s to fix YUL (to those that travel a lot know Trudeau airport by its calling) but Mirabel had 3 fatal flaws in it and that is why now its only a cargo, private jet and Bombardier Aerospace/Airbus airport. BTW, YUL also shares 1 of those Mirabel flaws... Montrealers and tourists alike deal with it. Barely. Drivers in Montreal are suppressing their anger towards it. And Quebec announced in July that another 10 BILLION will be awarded to renovate it again. To accommodate increased tourist capacity and business growth . Phase 1 to completed by 2028. Phase 2 by 2035. Mirabel cost Quebec BILLIONS to solve increased tourist capacity. EXACTLY that amount that YUL is expected to accommodate. But referendums to split from Canada destroyed those tourist dreams and business endeavors. Its come back I guess. But Mirabel is no longer able to be transformed for civilian air travel... What Im saying is, Id rather have NYC's airport problems than Montreal's...

How many billions is that going to cost? Have the Red States fund them...

@ccap41 Ironic I talk about racism and sexism and you question why black females and Cadillacs... There is nothing nefarious about black females and Cadillacs that I decided to post on about. Unless that is what you see. Which would be on YOU. Its just a silly post. Nothing more nothing less. Black females are human. Just like Taylor Swift and Salma Hayek that I posted half naked in a Greek motif post. The answer you are looking for is not that hard. Its in the music. And I chose the most respectful of pics of beautiful black ladies that I have never really posted on about. I would think you would question Taylor Swift and Salma Hayek as they seemingly have NOTHING to do with what else was posted. You pin pointed black women... Why was that? Now tell us why THAT would intrigue you?

Those days are looong gone. No longer a teenager dreaming about the west coast. California. I did think about joining the US Airforce right out of high school. When I was ashamed of being a Quebecois. When English Canada shunned Quebec. When Canadian Pride amongst ourselves was supposed to be hush hush unless you were of course from Quebec. Then you couldnt even speak your mind about anything. Including in the USofA, Quebecois were laughed at. If you were from Quebec, you were an outsider. A freak. The only thing that Canada and Quebec were aligned in was that if you were an Anglo or Frenchie, you were OK. Oh yeah...immigrants were tolerated and over all accepted, but there was a hidden negativity about being non-Anglo, non-Franco. And the Anglos on top of all that felt superior to the Frenchies as well... But in that time...Canada grew from their problems. Lots of painful discussions were had and are still being held regarding racism and sexism and Canadian Pride and Indigenous peoples and the respect they deserve in their OWN land that was taken away from them. It looks like YOU stupid Americans are still trying to figure this out. With BLATANT racism abound... Now...why would I leave MY birth country to which it seems we are figuring it out peacefully to come and live in yours with all the bullshyte that is happening? Answer is I wont want to. Canada is my country. Greece is where my ancestors come from and my second home. The USofA is where I wouldnt even take a piss and a shyte...

Look at the garbage you are posting... Im laughing too.

Its whatever YOU want it to be... YOU are the one making the issue about black females and Cadillacs... YOU are intrigued by it...
