  1. Sorry GMTG....I definately know how it feels. I think it sucks when it happens to one of my vehicles, I couldn't imagine if I had a brand new Sky and it got scared like that. Hope the repairs go well.
  2. I've driven both and have looked at the overall economy on both, 14.7 and 14.6, both still in the break in period. I have no reason to lie. It suprised me also, but its the truth.
  3. Happy birthdday Enz! I hope you have a great day.
  4. Both my Uncle and a family friend of ours have new escalades with the 6 speed, I have driven both, and loved the 2 extra gears, and they both get around 15 MPG average. Not to bad considering my suburban with the 5.3, the 4 speed, and 3/4 the hp doesn't get that unless I have a 20 mph wind at my back. I'm sold.
  5. My grandma (dad's mom), who is 90 now, bought her last new car, 98 grand prix GT four door, at 82. After my grandpa died in the early 70s she always bought pontiacs. She had a 71 Lemans, a 74 Grand Prix, an 81 bonneville, an 85 grand am, a 91 grand prix, and then finally the 98 grand prix. My grandpa (mom's dad) bought his last new vehicle, an 05 Trailblazer, at 79.
  6. Oldest of 4. 3 younger sisters. One that is 2 years younger, one that is 7 years younger and one that is almost 16 years yonger than me, she just turned 4. I get along with the younger 2 and used to get along with all of them, but my oldest sister seems to make a lot of dumb decisions lately, so we seem to clash often. Having kids spread out is not uncommon in our family. My dad is the youngest of 4 with a brother 21 years older and twin sisters that are 15 years older, my grandma was 45 and my grandpa 51 when they had him. My mom is the 4th of 7, she has a bother that was 5 years older, a sister 3 and a half years olders, another brother than is only a little over a year older, a sister that is 2 years yonger, a sister than is 4 years younger, and a brother that is 14 years younger, only 6 years older than me, and is more like a brother to me than an uncle.
  7. Have any of you read the "Alphabet of Manliness" by maddox? There is a whole chapter dedicated to the manliness of BEEF JERKY. Some would probably find the book stupid as all hell, but I was quite entertained by it.
  8. I didn't mind it in the murano I drove, but I don't love how fast the engine is running most of the time so I think I would still prefer a nice 6 speed over it.
  9. If the adjuster is not working, it sounds as if maybe you busted it somewhere along the way. Unless you can adjust it some by hand somehow, you might just need to by a new housing....check ebay or a junkyard, you could probably get one for a pretty reasonable price.
  10. I have at least one energy drink each morning. Usually a Red Bull or Rock Star.
  11. Anderson (Elmer Anderson, my high school principal)
  12. Am I alone in thinking that "Tempest" sucks as a name?
  13. Well....it looks like $h! regardless.
  14. That awful plastic where the wood used to be needs to go. I really do like the diamond on the seats and I could live with it on the doors.

  17. first link was screwed up....fixed it
  18. i have been getting them pretty often in the last week
  19. The house my cousin just bought in norther ND...6bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, 4850 sq. feet., 3 car garage, screened in porch, finished basement, hardwood in entryway, kitchen, and dining room. $78000
  20. Happy Birthday Ven! Hope you have a great day.
  21. avenue
  22. I was in Central Minnesota today and saw a Silverado JUST like that. I didn't have time to stop, but was kind of suprised to see it as I didn't think they were at dealers yet.
  23. One of the Drug Reps. that stops by the pharmacy I work at has a final 500 Aurora. I offered to buy it from him when he stopped by a couple weeks ago but he wouldn't bite. I would love to own one of those cars some day.
  24. I golf....didn't get too into it until about 5 years ago when I started going with a buddy of mine. I now can consistently shoot 5 or so over par. I just picked up a set of Callaway clubs last week when one of the local golf shops was going out of business a few weeks back, so I am excited to be able to use them next year. I have a membership to the public courses here in Fargo, and one at a private course over by the lake. I go every Sunday morning, at 8 o'clock, when im at the lake, and I go almost every Wednesday night here in Fargo with a group of guys. I really do have a lot of fun doing it, but I'm not one of the guys that will go out by himself and golf, just to golf. I have to go with someone otherwise it bores the hell out of me, and I could probably do without it, so I guess that it is just something I do to hang out with the guys. But as long as everyone wants to keep going, I'll keep going too.
