  1. I miss my '85 Fifth Ave, despite all it's problems it was a comfy car to drive.
  2. 1989 or '90, sitting on my father's lap in his '85 Sunbird. I was around 6 or 7 years old. Later in the early 90's my father let me actually drive his '85 Mustang with him in the passenger seat around my block quite a few times, as soon as I could reach the peddles.
  3. Stabbing Westward - Shame
  4. Alice In Chains- I Stay Away
  5. Personally I don't see what all the negativity about season 14 was all about. With that said season 15 is off to a good start, I do think they have run out of new ways to impress people, but it's still the best show on TV IMO. I'm downloading episode 3 at the moment and looking forward to the Camaro segment.
  6. Weekend road trip to Englishtown next week.
  7. I must say this is the first car ad in quite a long time that has made me actually want to see more of the car and actually wish the ad itself was longer. The music and the way the whole ad unfolds was pretty inspiring, well done Chrysler.
  8. So hard to pick only 1 from each of the big 3, however off the top of my head... 1967 Olds 442 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hardtop 1990-92? Lincoln Mark VII LSC in black.
  9. I'm literally at a lose for words, I mean how the hell does a 2 year old already have a 2 pack a day smoking habit? This kid needs to be put into foster care, his parents are anything but.
  10. The Wagonqueen Family Truckster End of thread...lol.
  11. For some reason I'm on a Miami Vice kick Listening to the Miami Vice theme
  12. It works fairly well, I have a bad back and knees and it usually helps with that, haven't tried in with oral pain before but I think it will help, I would suggest perhaps taking one before bed one night as it will help you sleep well. I wouldn't advise using them if you plan on driving, not until you're accustomed to the way you feel on them.
  13. Type O Negative- Everyone I Love is Dead. R.I.P Peter Steele.
  14. That SX/4 Balthazar posted looks downright modern with those wheels, albeit if they were slightly larger. Not a bad looking package considering the time it was released.
  15. My '85 Fifth Avenue's gas gauge stopped working one day about a mile down the road after I topped it off. The gauge went to full, I left and started driving next thing I noticed as I looked down at the gauges I saw my fuel light on and the gauge was on E. I never bothered fixing it as I had a fairly good indication of when to fill up. But I ran out of gas about 20 times in the time I drove it that way. Especially once my fuel tank began leaking. Leaking fuel and not having a gas gauge really makes for an interesting commute. I didn't bother fixing the leak either which I know was stupid on my part, I just got tired of spending money on that pos. I ended up getting my Oldsmobile registered again and junked the Chrysler.
  16. My previous next door neighbor built his '55 Chevy street rod in his garage and painted it the very same color, or very similar. I should clarify it's not an ugly color, just not my first choice, there are much worse colors out there. That said, this Jimmy is far too nice to ignore just because it might not be my color of choice. Truly a nice find, hope it finds a good home.
  17. I'm not fond of the color but it is a very nicely put together truck, that Bronco looks nice as well.
  18. I know it's just a beater but my love of 77-79 B bodies makes me want to see it cleaned up and shining. If you do give it a bath take pics
  19. That is true when it comes to parking and being able to fully open the doors, that is the downside to a coupe's long doors, I was speaking in terms of when you can actually open the doors however, luckily I rarely use the backseats in my car asides from just tossing stuff over my shoulder into the back.
  20. I just laughed for 5 minutes straight.
  21. I'm still a fan of sedans since my first 5 cars have been sedans, but since having my Riviera I would have to say I prefer a coupe. It's just so much more pleasing to the eye, and much easier to get in and out of. Growing up my preference was about 50/50 between a sedan and a coupe, I've never been a fan of hatchbacks or convertibles ( save for a select few ).

  23. Oh how I long for the Sixteen, this is just dull and boring.
  24. Congrats, I nominate rapping Camino as the wedding singer nah seriously, best of luck
  25. My streak of not having been mentioned on any Cheers and Jeers in these last 8 years continues... Happy New Year everyone.
