  1. I don't see much hope for a 6th generation model lets put it that way. Either it won't offer an affordable 8 cylinder (even if small that is a must) or it won't offer one at all. Sadly that will not interest me or many other car guys/gals. That is why someone in my family either I or my son will be getting a 5th gen SS.
  2. That would be great... Tough vs. Green
  3. If that is the combo I would say get it.
  4. Go for it, sharp color combo. Is it a 350, with 5spd and 4WD right? I can see you totally rocking it.
  5. The salesman at my little car dealer called his Aveo5 (on the lot) a $h!-box and said shame on you for considering one and the G3. He begged me to buy it which I said no way I already had good people talk me out of it. The 2005 Impala LS is a much better choice. He also said the G3 is a waste of space in the new 2009.5 Pontiac brochure and doesn't deserve to share the pages with the Solstice/GXP and G8 GT/GXP.
  6. Too late did that before I knew you posted this. I said CAMRY HYBRID not Camry.
  7. A Toyota Prius, followed by a Toyota Tundra driven by some tuff mean ass-hole, followed by a Camry Hybrid. Those would be my few.
  8. Don't worry he will, trust me. He already got some special mag polish for non-chrome alloy wheels from Mothers at AA. I have chrome polish for my two Pontiac's tho! He is very excited to have a motor just like his dad with over 200hp! He is really excited to have a car without a bench seat, why is beyond me at his young age of 19. He will no doubt take care of it, and he is also looking foward to a sportier car with a cd player, 200 watt sound system and that funky spoiler on the back.
  9. Yep well that is what I am betting if its five model year cycle so that would sound right... Zeta is good until or through 2016 I have read. Take a look at this... a photo from an early LT/RS photo-shoot for C&D... This is why I bet 2015 model year.
  10. Thanks you know I am, and my son is even more-so than me. One of us will get one prolly the last year in order to save up for the extra goodies. No this one will be white or whatever color the special edition comes in on an SS of course. Thanks for the kind words.
  11. You do have a thing for boats. The Challenger and Camaro are both boats I would love to drive and own tho. In good time a Camaro will come.
  12. This is so true with any in about five years (or at least a couple) my son or I will be getting an SS. Also will prolly just wait till the last year and get the "special edition". That will be in 2015, I would bet.
  13. I hope your right. I haven't heard anything like that either but... Still I can't fathom government having a problem with a sucessful product from GM that consumers are buying at sticker. Good for the company and North American workers. Yet green stuff does sell but I can't imagine big gov having a problem with a fun car or two as long as they are selling seriously, if they do they can screw off. This to me looks lik ean editorial disguised as a news story, just in the way it reads.
  14. Austin, TX which would work for me. Still I don't do big cities.
  15. Hope you like it! Hell I hope you get it.
  16. I am glad too! You know I will prolly need the depends too come to think of it. It will be my sons car and he is looking foward to it, and honestly so am I. Now I'll have two beige Chevy Impala's! Must be getting old... It ended up I got the car for the price I wanted with new brakes so everything worked out.
  17. I do like the Sandstone Metallic on it, it is a different shade of Gold than my '01 Impala in Sand Drift Metallic. Check out my first post for example photos of what the car looks like. Yeah beige growns on you as you age, my son even liked the color!
  18. That would be great. Just checked nothing is out on the Silverado for 2010 yet...
  19. I know you like the Dodge Challenger, because it weighs more. Not that the Camaro is light at 3,800 lbs that is muscle enough to me.
  20. No, they have been offering the 3.5L VVT V6 in these since 2008 when the new style came out but for fleet only was my understanding. I thought the were only 1LS models as well, I had never seen or heard of dealers stocking these new or with 1LT packaging. People in my area with all the steep hills would love 'em the looks and refined interior of the Malibu with the 3.5L V6 and 4spd. automatic. Lots of domestic buyers still want V6's in cars like this, so it is no suprise to me he has them, but I didn't know how "he" being the dealer got 'em like that to sell to the public.
  21. Thanks guys for chimming in, it is just he had FOUR of them just like it. So can you make a fleet order "cancel it" and put it on your lot? Or how did he end up with these or can you order 'em like this and just stock "fleet spec" cars?
  22. And then buy one... :AH-HA_wink: Someone in my family will either my son or I will be getting an SS for sure.
  23. SCV stinks I have it my Impala and SLE. I always have it off and adjust it on my own. All of the times I used it, it did work properly. The '05 Impala LS I might be getting will get it turned off right away as well.
