  1. Sure so the interior on some of these cars was less than perfect. But I got back to my main point that while other compaines were creating REALLY boring cars GM was too, with some interesting options and sporty trim levels. That actually turned mainstream cars into pretty good driving products. I personally buy a car to drive it, enjoy it and use it. I didn't get an SLE because it had the best or softest interior plastics but I loved the cloth seat pattern and "cockpit" feel and the way it looked. I don't go around pushing on plastic to see if it is soft to the touch or care if everything is perfect, I care when I turn the key and drive it. I care how it will do its intend function, and as long as the interior doesn't rattle or creak I could care less honestly, unless it is just flat ugly. All those cars I posted photographs were semi-affordable cars that drove well within there class/market segment.

    Hilarious!

I was going to post this and I was lazy had my son facebook it instead.
  3. Of course! I haven't posted any recently of my fleet. Once the Bonneville gets fixed at the body shop and I get to wax it a few times I will post some of her along with the Torrent which needs wax as well. Along with for the first time ever a shot of both of my beige grandma cars. Well at least one of them is a grandma car. So it will all happen over the summer, but you will see my new LS or what my son would call "his" as soon as I get the title. While I am thinking of it the 2001 will get a coat of wax too and the 2005 will get a couple as well. Also where can I get mudflaps with the white Chevy or Impala logo on them for the car, I want to put some on it to protect it. Or should I just forget about it because its been drive 4 years without? Its just the wheels wells are really clean and I think they are worth saving.

    Got cursed

Sorry to hear about it. Hope it gets better soon.
  5. I understand, I didn't buy my Bonneville because it was the fastest 6 cylinder fullsize front driver I could get, but because I loved the look of it and what Pontiac and Bonneville stood for. When you buy a Malibu or even Silverado you are still buying a car from a company that makes the excellent new Camaro and Corvette. I would say GM has created far better larger cars and trucks than small cars, and this is for as long as I can recall. What I am saying is when people were driving 4 cylinder Camry XLE's you could have had a Grand Prix GT, or an Impala SS for the same amount of money, why would you drive the Camry again? GM has made in my view lots of "fun" mainstream FWD products that don't drive pretty good and look great.
  6. Well I own one and have for four years. Needs to go into the body shop to be fixed again. (Small issue driving me nuts, yes I baby it!) I say if you can talk them down on price and I mean under $8,000 it would be a BUY. I love the styling but I prefer the 04-05 GXP and 05 SLE styling. They drive well amazing, if you want it go for it. That car is IN GREAT condition. The 2002 SLE would be an interesting option as well though. I know you would love one, I LOVE MINE. It is not going anywhere and when I am done with it my son will keep for a classic no doubt. And who couldn't honestly love this... I have had it four years and have had 29,000 miles of good luck with it.
  7. Nope mine lived and all but maybe one around me. My Jeep/Chrysler dealer who sells TC's and lots of GC's is going under tho... They still have Kia and Ford dealer, but this is a dealer you love 'em or hate 'em. If I buy a Ford someday it WON'T be from him.
  8. And they made even more boring cars like these... And now they are making boring cars like these...
  9. You know Satty your right GM has made some really boring cars in the past 25 years, like all other car makers including Toyota... But Toyota and the other makers never created any of these either...
  10. Glad to hear you got it. Can't wait to see more of it!
  11. Well this is good news. So a Camaro could live on after 2015... GM has done something BIG right, Zeta is a little porky but a GREAT platform and GM would have been stupid to piss all of this away. So I go away camping with buddies for a few days and GM does something bright, maybe I should do this more often. Hell maybe the G8 and Solstice can come back for Pontac... No that make too much sense but aside of that I have a slight hope for cars.
  12. I have seen two for one deals only at Chrysler dealers around me. They involve PT Cruisers, buy one get one free. Also I have seen half on Crossfires.
  13. Thanks for the info caddycruiser.
  14. I got that stuff by mistake a few years ago, and was trying to find a use for it and be resourceful. I have used just a real little off the top.
  15. So anything I would use on my clear coat paint, works for me. What do you use on the G8's rims?
  16. I'll use it on my Bonneville exhaust tips then. I just need to find something to do with it, and get a produc that will work for my wheels on the LS.
  17. Maybe I'll just wax them, or run get some polish this weekend, for COATED wheels. Thanks for the advice.
  18. Well I am a little worked up trust me. Did get a laugh out of it tho.
  19. LMAO, well I'll find a use for it. Then what can I use on these wheels?
  20. Go for it, and a set of flowmasters on that Blazer would make it so bad-a$$.
  21. Then this $h! is nearly worthless... Oh well, maybe I'll use it for something...
  22. Thanks well its not here just yet... Within a week or week and a half, my son can't wait.
  23. So can I use it on my muffler?
  24. Thanks Von that is good to know. Keep the thoughts coming...
  25. So my son got this Mothers brand Mag and Aluminum Polish but it says it won't work on coated aluminum surfaces... Anyone know if these wheels are coated? Here is my example to explain it clearly... Any help is most apperciated!
