  1. Hey great guys thanks for the help! Tested it out in my Torrent with what was an MP3 was burned in iTunes and changed to MPEG's/CD files and played great. So yes it will work, my son will be very happy with the news.
  2. Hey thanks Satty!
  3. Thanks tho Von keep the thoughts coming...
  4. Yeah, I know the Ventures used the same head-unit but they might have had MP3 logo on them meaning they had MP3 support like the current Colorado's do... Hmmm....
  5. I heard all wheels/tires have the same height so they all fill up the opening the same. The tire profile changes at least that is what I heard. I would love a V8 powered LS if I could get it, lets just put it that way. So no I don't need 20 inch wheels if I got one, but would have to, so I could get the 6.2.
  6. Yeah I can't believe I am asking this... Will a 2005 Impala LS with the premium CD player like shown here only with out the tape deck play burned CD's/MP3 formated music say from iTunes? I think it works in my Bonneville and never tried in the Torrent because I know it can't at least I think, because it was the standard l-cheapo cd-deck and its has an AUX input for my Nano. Anyways anyone know? Here is the stero in question, mine will be the same minus the tape deck. My 2001 only has a AM/FM/Tape with RDS, FYI that is partly why I am wondering... Anyways the photo... Sorry about the photo it was the best I could do... Any help or comments would help alot, thanks in advance...
  7. Currently on a Chevy Kick...
  8. And then I told 66Stang in good time... I have almost went over to the house it sits at with my K100D and started taking photos for you... Then I decided they would think I was odd, not that haven't figured that out yet, but hopefully by Saturday I will have it. (Including photographs for you 66!) Neat trucks saw a Chevy Blazer like yours Camino in gold tonight, that sounded great.
  9. Ahhh that new LaX is really nice. I still would go Pontiac, I was just thinking...
  10. Am I the only one who could care-less about wheel weights? As long as the car drives, sounds, normal I could care less about the wheel weights.

    Should I?

What was your other car besides the Solstice GXP Targa? You also have a GP GXP, so whats the other GXP?
  12. Go drive your '84 Toyota and just zip it.
  13. It was really a bad article. Pontiac was GM's third best selling division someone aside of Hertz was buying them. Pontiac had alot of good cars over the years and this article is a waste of my time. I am proud I owned two of them currently and have owned four.
  14. Well I have driven an LTZ V6 and ridden in a few other ones and was SUPER impressed with the car. It would be a sedan and GM car things that would work for him. Just an idea...
  15. Sounds like I have to get my hands on this one. Sounds like a great article and I always enjoyed Jim.
  16. It was a great car until in '84 when it started on fire.
  17. They will come in good time... I agree waxing is the best way but I am over-protective. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Okay good to hear it, yes 05-08 GXP's can be found for a great price if you look. Do what is right for you. You might shoot me for this but what about a new Malibu?
  19. I totally agree, the Volt is not for me but cool none the less, and will be cheering it on from the sidelines. As for the W's SLP, Instense, PFYC have all made a killing off of performance parts for the front driver 3800's and then compare them to a similarly priced rice burner a big burly FWD W-Body with a 3800 seems like a hell of alot more car than say a riced Civic. They in a way were like a modern Chevelle, GTO, GP and Monte Carlo, my point was is that even a very "basic" Grand Prix SE with a 3.1 was a pretty boring car but then if you checked the right option boxes you could have a fairly exciting Grand Prix GTP Coupe with loads of goodies including HUD and Onstar, that drove pretty darn good. What I was saying was GM good at varying the cars for different tastes/budgets and did a pretty good job out of extracting performance from basically the same car.
  20. One a 1973 Nova SS (hatch style) with a 350 and a 4spd.
  21. My son is born in '90, and he still loves domestic cars. Actually more than me.
  22. I really don't think those W's were bad cars and were also pretty different from each other as far as styling went. Except for the Century/Regal.
  23. Well I just don't want the rear fenders to rust. It happend on my one car that didn't have them the Delta 88. I am considering getting them anyways. Maybe not a Chevy or Impala set, just something to protect those poor fender wells. I will enjoy that car, and my son will more so.
  24. The other thing to consider is the SSEi's run on premium gas and I have been told putting regular in them works but is not good for the L67 motor. That has stopped me from considering various GM supercharged cars over the years. You could "give in" and look for an SLE but a few years newer with less miles on it, and for under 9,500 you should be able to find a newer one with about the same amount of miles on it. The SLE's don't offer HUD but offer nearly every other option and also have the FE2 suspension as well so they will handle just as well. Personally my SLE to me has plenty of kick when you nail it, and I have driven it way faster than I ever should have (aka to the point the computer says no more) and couldn't have been more impressed. If you like the L67 and want the supercharged one call on it and make an offer or see what they are willing to do. I know this much dealers like to "rotate" stock aka get new and different used cars out on the lot often. If the car has been sitting two months and has had no "hits" you are in a STRONG position. If you wait to long it might sell, I have run into this. After 90 days I have heard some dealers just take their cars to auctions and such or try eBay that have not sold. If that is "the car" go for it but personally anything over $8,000 is too much. I still if I were you would try to find a newer SLE with the same kind of miles for less money. Then again it all depends upon what people are selling in your area. I know you have been kicking around lots of different Pontiac's. Just buy what you want and also if you need a loan on this SSEi, fine but I would say no more than 24 months on the loan. I wish you the best of luck, and also have you considered the final generation of GP?
  25. A mint 1969 Olds 98 Hardtop Coupe, black on black. Also a '73ish gold Impala Sedan, driven by a older couple.
