  1. Well I am not suprised. I have seem alot of this stuff lately.
  2. I will but it will be because of product, and I do hope they will have something to suit my needs. (They should and not just the Camaro.) My big reason I am sticking with them through this is my belief in an American Company and my trusty GM dealership. I am not going to stick it to GM just because I don't like the current president or his policy. I hold out hope for GM to return to private ownership and if it doesn't happen under Obama it will under the following president. So will I buy from the new GM in the next four years under Obama unlikely, and that is mostly due to the fact I don't need another car. I am hoping to wait at least four years, and so will my son. **He just got the 2005 LS** (One of us will be getting a Camaro SS.)
  3. They knew it would get its ass kicked by the Camaro SS, Challenger R/T, and Mustang GT.
  4. Maybe that is part of it.
  5. Sweet car in one of my favorite color combos. Thanks for response I wish you have a photo for me.
  6. Well thanks for your help, guess I better find out what the indie trend is, then.
  7. That was a good year for Caddy, I bet it was sweet, and what color was she?
  8. That is very true, fashion cycles in a circle.
  9. Hahaha oh balthazar, no it was just something I have observed. The reason I made the post was I have no clue was hoping someone around C&G would.
  10. Yup and the one I saw was an up-level model big wheels and all.
  11. Someone around here must be more "into" pop culture than me and maybe can provide me with some help... I have noticed especially with track/wind breaker style jackets and even in fashion in general it seems alot of people are either wearing "older" clothes like from Good Will or buying new "old" style clothing. Can someone shed some light on this? Is wearing "old" clothing coming back? I have seen stuff being worn by lots of younger people lately and it was stuff that was out in many cases only about 10 years ago, and in some more like 20 or even 30. Is this a new trend around the country, or is it something going on just around me? I have really noticed it the past few months since the start of the year with as I mentioned jackets/windbreakers and sweats even fashion and clothes in general. So can anyone help out the fashion challenged and explain what is going on with this? I have no clue.
  12. I actually saw one in a driveway today that was just purchased from the V-Dub dealer in Madison WI.
  13. Really good stuff today... '76 or '77 El Camino in bronze and a maroon '76 or '77 Monte Carlo, both were in nice daily driver shape, and even a '74ish Buick Apollo. Add to that a Porsche 911 Turbo Vert (latest generation), and a C5 Corvette 'Vert and 2000-2002 Z28 Camaro it was a good car spotting day.
  14. Well congrats on the nice rig first of all. Denail's are sweet and my favorites in the GMC line-up, as for the technical details, I bet a gear head around here not me could help you. I wonder if this wouldn't get more attention in the tech section. Let some of the gearheads around here chime in first.
  15. Nice powertrain combo, love the four on the floor. A 455 would be even better in that puppy. Sweet car.
  16. Cleaned up the motor bay about a week and a half ago but was to lazy to post the photos. I spend nearly 3 hours working on it, it was SUPER dirty, sorry I do not have any before and after shots but anyways here is the AFTER. I didn't even take the hose to it, I really thought about it but used a rag and a bucket of water and some F2K1 and it turned out like this... (I should look at my other two Pontiac's now and make sure they look good too tho..) Enjoy.
  17. Sweet car... What year is it? What motor is in it? Is it a floor or colum shift? Automatic or manual? Really cool car tho!

    Canyon 2010

You'd be crazy NOT to get one with the 5.3 honestly. I would get the one you have described above.
  19. Let see... Venza, could they build a wagon any uglier? Cube, sorry I kind of liked the first one, but the new one is flat out ugly! Element, so ugly only a mother could love it, although the SC verison is much better looking. Prius, could they make it any more like an easter egg? 2009 Pilot, why did they ruin the second generation. 2009 Corolla, I actually didn't mind the 2003-2008 model but they ruined another car. (Not that I am suprised they have been doing that lately, lets see Tundra, Highlander, Camry and now the Corolla.) That would be about it, as for the Routan I like it actually much nice looking than the Dodge and Chrysler counter part.
  20. Sorry no link but it would be a first generation Grand Prix, '62-'63 Catalina Super Duty, '69 GTO Judge, 1969 Firebird/Trans Am Hardtop or a 1969 Bonneville 2 door hard top.
  21. Can't wait Camino congrats on your new SUV!
  22. Well that explains my two Impala's and my Torrent. My Bonneville really for its size has a small back seat, truth be told I just wanted it. (Son did too, and I promised myself another Bonneville when I got rid of my 1977 in 1990 on the GP.) I loved the revamped SLE for 2005 and the 2004-2005 GXP so it was a no brainer as to what I wanted. I did a sales job on the wife just to get the SLE and tried for a GXP but couldn't find one without a sunroof and my wife wasn't sold on a V8 powered boat for me either. My head almost hits the top in this one so a sunroof would have made it a total mess. As for cooler cars in the future I hope so, but sadly they might have to be used thanks to CAFE. Thats why my son or I will be getting a Camaro SS, just one way to "stick it to the man".
  23. It would be DAMN HARD.
  24. Darn right and on the other side of the Buick was an Old Cutlass Ciera to boot. Camino you would have loved this thing, and it to me it looked as big as a Challenger even though I know it really isn't.
