  1. Looks great, and I love the color and rims!
  2. Well my dealer in a town of 2,300 is still around. They are safe but still I really feel for all these small towns and people. I could very well be done with GM if my dealer gets axed. A good part of the reason I am sticking with GM is because of my dealer, even if it is a 1/2 hour drive for me south of my town. I already lost Pontiac and if I lose my dealer, it could get real ugly.
  3. I think it last longer than 2.0 NXT.
  4. Well that sucks YJ best of luck working everything out.
  5. Thank you very much.
  6. 1958 Impala drop top with blue interior, it was a real beauty. Saw a new 2010 Camaro SS/RS in SIM with midnight silver wheels parked outside the house of local Chevy salesman. With a big sign on the door saying **** Chevrolet. (I hope it was magnetic because to ruin a cars paint for free advertising is stupid.)
  7. Can I ask what year of 'Bird was it that he wrecked?
  8. I like it and love the interior on both the 'Nox and the Terrain but something about it isn't right. Something is a little "organic" looking for my liking, I still prefer the previous generation Equinox/Torrent as far as looks go. I know it will sell well, it is generic like most cute 'utes is priced right when paired with the ECOTEC and is pretty sharp overall. I have my CUV so I don't need to worry about getting another for the wifey for a long while. I am more of a car or true truck guy anyways.
  9. Oh how I would drool over that. Anyways it is a honey of a car and might have me considering a Buick. That is scary maybe it is because I am getting old.
  10. I still prefer Gold Class.
  11. You damn right and we would have actually bought 'em.
  12. I don't give a $h! about heated seats, I care about how it drives. I think Cadillac might have a winner here.
  13. Thanks PCS I never doubted you loved Pontiac, and I for one wish to thank you for your loyal service to GM. I also will be 100 percent honest I am green with envy with the four Pontiac's you own. I would love to own a G8 GXP like yours but sadly it will never happen. (Can we see a few photos of it maybe?) Thanks again for sharing and for your service at GM.
  14. I could not agree more. Pontiac is very strong in Iowa especially smaller more rural area's. Pontiac is really strong in Canada maybe more so than Chevy. Lots of younger people do buy Pontiac's and yes I am sure some are slightly used fleet cars, point being if someone still selected a Pontiac over a Chevy or even a Toyota they had the choice to do so. Cars like the G8 and GTO did well from my understanding on the West Coast, so I really think it was a silly choice. The brand could have been so great, but they let it die.
  15. I used to by the cheapest ones I could find. Now I have been buying Goodyear and Bridgestone, and have had great luck with both.
  16. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/product_deta...p?T1=MEG+G7014J I had long been a fan of buy whats on sale. (I used NuFinish and Turtle Wax mostly) In the last few years since I have gotten my dream car a Bonneville I have been going with more up-level products. I would suggest Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax, it worked wonders for my 2005 LS that had never been waxed before. I swear by this stuff, I have tried the NXT 2.0 but still didn't like it as much as Gold Class. I also have a Meguiars Clay Bar kit I use as well to remove any little problems that might come up. My son went out and got it for the 2005 LS a few weeks ago and was so impressed with what it would have been using it as well when I need too.
  17. Yes it appears so, but the 4.8 did get more horsepower. It looks like it gets 326hp on E85, I'll have to look in that.
  18. We can only hope.
  19. I would say take care of it and enjoy it. I am doing the same thing with my Bonneville it might by rare (it is, out of all 2005 Bonneville's made SLE trims were the rarest, from what I have heard, and is the only year SLE's had GXP styling) but I drive it to work and back and enjoy using it. She hasn't even rolled 30,000 on the odo. Not that I plan on letting it go anytime soon, and the only person who might get it is my son he wants it for a classic along with a 5th gen Camaro SS.
  20. Since the G8 is gone, and it is not likely that Chevy will get a Zeta Impala/Caprice I would love to see the LWB Park Avenue sold over here with both a direction injection 3.6 and 6.0L L76 V8 and six speed automatics of course.
  21. I figured it would be at Orion or in Janesville.
  22. I like the Regal name personally. It is a sweet photo tho!
  23. After futher research the L76 V8 from half-ton Silverado/Sierra/Yukon XL/Suburban has been dropped. The only engine left is the L96 for HD trucks/SUV's and the low hp verison for certain DRW (box deleted) trucks. So yes the 4.8 and 5.3 have all recieved VVT. Power for the new 4.8L Vortec is 302hp and for the new 5.3L Vortec is 326hp. The 6.0L in either HD or half-ton form had VVT from the start in 2007 FYI. Anyways that is great news, and also the six speed automatic is now standard on even more engines.
  24. Great I will always take more power.
  25. It can't find out how to build it.
