  1. Opitional seating for six is enough any more. I said I would NEVER get a floor shift but uhh my Bonneville SLE is and I love it. I don't think I WILL EVER go back to bench unless its a truck on fullsize SUV. Having said that my 2001 Impala Sedan is a bench and sadly so is my GP. There is not a huge market for cars with benchs even the Lucernes I have seen have been 50% bench and the other 50% floor shift. And general speaking more mature buyers get those, what is that saying? That even older people don't want a bench anymore and a younger people are buying them both GREAT things. In fact there is a great white gold 2006 Lucerne CXL V8 at a local dealer that I try to get my cars from. The car has a V8 and if the Lucerne this had a floorshift it would have sold. I had thought about getting it (great price!) but its a bench although the extra seat is handy and it has the EXACT features I want except for cooled seats. I am just going to wait to get my wife her SUV, I am thinking a Enclave CX FWD with driver confidence package would suit her great. She still wants a whimpy Torrent (if it had a 3.6L or 3.9L I would get it) but I want another gear and 270hp plus extra style! *YES I HAVE SAID I WANT A BUICK!* The last car I had that was the powerful was my 1971 Bonneville 455ci. H.O. 4bbl. hard-top in Aztek gold! ((It was a cherry car!))
  2. How can anyone dislike this car? I agree it needs softer plastics and a 6spd. auto but other than that its a great car! I love it if I could have any car for anything DTS Performance Package is what I would get. Also the G-platform is good it could use a redesign after this styling cycle but for now its good.
  3. Hey, I am not upset because I really could care less about a car I will never be able to afford. Had it been a midsize sedan I would be pissed. That is too bad, the "Winding Road" lost all of my respect! (Aren't they owned or associated with Ebay in someway?) Not that I don't like Corvettes but we all know it is coming anyways right?

    Buick Enclave

I would agree thanks for the answer. I thought the GMC was only FWD!
  5. So can you tell us what month we get? Or how our photo will be used in the calendar? I bet will have to wait...

    Buick Enclave

Will the new Enclave be both FWD and AWD? Either way I am hooked, the Lucerne and Enclave have me thinking Buick, and to pull me away for Pontiac, Chevy and Cadillac takes a hell of a product! Anyone know if they will be sold both FWD and AWD, or just AWD? Thanks, I can't wait till Feb. when I go to the 2007 Chicago Autoshow and see them in the flesh and also I wanna see the new Grand Prix oh yea the DTS-L and Platinum! I went 2 years ago 2005 too see the DTS and Lucerne! (Thats the only reason that I went!)
  8. I can't find those photos anywhere in the GM Media gallery weren't they released yet or what?
  9. Caddycrusier that is riht it offers more for those of us who desire it. I think a DTS-V would be cool 6spd auto and like a 330hp Northstar V8! Hmm maybe in AWD? Or just with HUGE front tires. For the Performance Package will do.
  10. Gosh I love you car, I want it in White Diamond tho!
  11. I love the direction the new Cadillac, life, liberty and the pursuit are taking the brand. I know it will hook younger hipper buyers on Cadillac!
  12. Can someone tell me when the deserving DTS gets a 6T80E 6spd. automatic? Is that in 2008?
  13. I happen to like the paint and love the wheels, a freshing wouldn't hurt the XLR tho. Maybe for 2009?
  14. Wonderful look at how close it is to the concept verison! Yes GM can do it!
  15. Sign me up now do I want a DTS Performance Package or DTS-L or Platinum? Cadillac you can't keep doing this too me! Go get 'em guys!
  16. Sweet and its really getting more power? Who needs that? It already has darn near 500! And I bet its a mule I am almost sure it will get the new interior and I wouldn't be suprised if the new SLS model shows up stateside. Don't being doing this yet guys... I love my
  17. Flybrian did you get my shot of the 2005 SLE? Oh and please tell me if it meets your standards, for the contest. Thanks
  18. M/T well b*tch if there ice cream was cold. I think C&D will like it more.
  19. I am a concervative okay, but I strongly support American compaines! I believe that is key in this day and age. Next up I do support Mr. Bush despite his various flaws. Okay so now you know what side of the fence I am on. Now to what I think... The goverment is not here to bail anyone out weather it be Toyota or GM. General Motors will need to keep bringing out fresh products that sell. They need to do it themselves not the goverment! The union is killing the big three, the workers keep asking for more. (Then getting it.) Therefore the prices get passed onto the consumer. They need to keep overhead/car prices down and keep working hard, if there is a team of people at GM that can do it, its the group at the head right now!
  20. That thing looks sweet, hmmm maybe my Grand Prix replacement. Or maybe a pre-owned DTS.
  21. What do you mean, zero idea the DTS existed you mean? I love the DTS I would like one even over the 2008 GP GXP or a Corvette. The Lucerne would be more realistic for me given the 10-15k price difference but I still would like a Cadillac, and love the style! I knew the DTS existed I was one of the first people to see it in the flesh at the Chicago Autoshow in 2005, I went to see that car and the Lucerne! Then later that year I found a Bonneville SLE that I loved with 3,500 miles and fell in love as always liked them, so my chances of getting a DTS were shot! My dad owned 4 Bonneville's I just had to have another one because I had 1977 Bonneville that was my dads. It seemed like the right choice. Also my wife says Cadillac's are for old people, now that is b.s! Seen any of there ads recently?
  22. Thanks for the input on the Lumina. The rebadge with some styling changes would be fine by me. Order me a small block V8 automatic model please! *In bright blue or silver of course.* I believe it will be made in Canada where the current GP is, the Impala is said to get a redesign too, Chevy has been hush-hush about it but count on it seriously for 2008 because if they build an 2008 RWD GP then the Impala must follow suit, but where will that put Buick? Oh well I could care less if the LaCrosse died, now the Lucerne on the other hand... I would! Someone has mentioned importing them its possible but why when you can save the shipping costs do it there? I know it would maximize production in Aussie Land but still, making it in North American just makes sense to me at least. I hope GM won't screw this one up, they didn't with the Lucerne or Aura! But when they do screw up like say if they were to import it... Ahhhh Is what I would do! Anyone know if they will have a year hiatus with the Impala and bring it back for 2009? I think its possible since the new Malibu is looks to be from spy photos and the interior shot a serious Camry a$$ kicker! Toyota is gonna get owned! Please any help with answering these questions is apperciated.
  23. I am not suprised that it won, but the Aura or Fit deserved the win in my book. I think that for someone looking for a pig-faced, Toyota it is just fine. Once again taking no risks and appealing to the vanila crowd. The fact of the matter remains the interior sucks compared to the new Malibu and the exterior is just werid. I mean overall the car has is OKAY, I really tried to like it, but I just can't. Oh well let them have it this year, Honda will have next year with the Accord or the new Malibu. At least a deserving Chrysler 300C got in in 2005. Let Japan have some glory hopefully in the next years, it will be gone. I bet the Chevy Silverado gets truck of the year!
  24. What countries in the middle east our the new Lumina's going to be sold in?
