No I think it would be nice to have the Malibu FWD for people who want that and RWD for the Impala. Two RWD cars that close together at this point in time would be silly.

Okay first off I will be looking for another car in the next year or so... I was wondering if anyone could give me the link to GM Photo/Wieck for the Saab 9-5 Sport Combi? I would just like to see some super huge photos of it. I can only get 11 up myself but I have a feeling there are more and for some reason or another I do not have acess too. I would also like the link for all the new 2006-2007 Sedan 9-5 photos too. I would just like to get a really good look at the car. I am considering only GM vehicles and would like a SUV/Wagon type vehicle. The Saab 9-5 Sport Combi used in a 5spd speaks to me (2006 only). I also have thought about Buick Enclave, Chevy Equinox Sport or the new Sport verison of the Torrent. The Malibu Maxx SS crossed my mind but I am not a huge fan of the styling even tho it is better than the previous one. (04-05) I have even considered a Tahoe LS/LT in 2WD! (Even tho I live in Iowa!) If anyone has offical GM media acess and can help me out (I know it might not be legal) I would apperciate it. Thanks a ton! John Anyone have driven a new 9-5 or know anything about Saab's in general? Or mpg with the 2.3L turbo motor? Any help would be great, thanks again everyone. I know my GM but Saab is something I am still learning.

I was just looking at the China spec LaCrosse are we sure that it is not built on the Epsilon? Because it has some Aura styling cues/lines in it. Having said that is the new Malibu going to be on the Epsilon II? Or is the new Saab 9-5 going to be the first to be on it and the LaCrosse second? And if the new Malibu is on the Epsilon I wouldn't it be stupid because in a few years an all new G6 will show up (despite what Pontiac/GM says the CAN'T ignore sales!) and then the Aura will come out on it and the Chevy last? Sometimes I would gladly wait another 6 months for it to be on the Epsilon II! Whatever the case maybe I am excited about the new Malibu and if the next LaCrosse looks anything like the one sold in China I will be very happy. Hmmm no about that new RWD GP and Impala, I would still rather have on of those! :AH-HA_wink:

I own 2 W-body vehicles and love them. Having said that they can not even be compared to the refinement of my G-body. The Lacrosse in China is actually good LOOKING. Why did we get the ugly one? And I could care less what body its on so will alot of other people FWD is FWD. Thats why people couldn't justify spending the extra money and upgrading from GP to a Bonneville.

There is a GOD! Well deserved award and now Chevy can brag about it! Also the Tundra will be taking the award next year... That is the bad news. Hopefully the new Malibu can take COTY!

It is a SINGLE muffler with dual outlet and twin chrome tips. Sorry not a true dual muffler system.

Oh 200 bucks who really gives a sh*t seriously they look like a 30's Chevy panel van and those were sweet! I hate the regular HHR's but actually there is something about the Panel I like... Hippy Vans all over again! I think I want one. Order mine in bright red or orange with chrome wheels please, and a 5spd with 2.4L VVT.

Can you get bigger photos of it? I would love to see some high quality and large photos of your car. After I agree with you it looks better than the V-Series... (You ordered your car, it wasn't on the lot eh? Hardly anyone will do that anymore...) But finding a black CTS w/stick was prolly hard enough much less with the performance/sport package I am sure. I would love a CTS just like yours but no moonroof and in diamond white, and about dropping an LS2 in there hmmm that would be even sweeter. Although I think the 3.6L DOHC VVT V6 with 255hp would be game for almost anything!

proto, that is something people on the car and driver forums should here. Actually this is not a HUGE problem at all, it is rather minor so all is well. As long as they don't pull a Toyota "Oh there is nothing wrong here" GM will be fine.

These things are sweet, I though I liked the LTZ's the best, nope now I am hooked on Z71's!
