I am an one of those people who will come in and fight, fight, fight, fight and fight some more. Look at it this way my Bonneville SLE was $32,935.00 sticker... (Never would pay that!) The dealer had the car listed at $26,349.00 (with 3,000 miles it was a dealer exec. car) as I recall, but that was too high (but I LOVED the car and had to have an SLE because of the styling and my wife wouldn't let me get a GXP because of fuel economy. This was June 15ish 2005 keep in my mind I drove down to the dealer the DAY it was listed and I let the games begin... I made NO mention of my trade until the end, so I got him down to $25,000... I am like not good enough Kerry, he came back and counter offered me with $23,749 (I had wanted $22,000) I said no way Kerry. He went back into the boss and said $23,000 is my lowest. I said why thanks for your time at that price I do not want the Bonneville. Oh, John just wait here lets see what I can do... (As I was walking out the door by the way) Alright John let me go back and talk to my boss again (3rd time) okay I can do $23,000 I said Kerry thats still 1 grand more than I want to spend! Okay he said I can do 22,499, I said sorry that is 500 more than I will spend. Walks back the his boss again and comes out with a smile alright John how about $22,000 even? I said no thats still a lil' more than I will spend, says alright, how about $21,966? I said Kerry you got yourself a deal. I quickly wrote down that number and I said I have a trade... His eyes pop out of his long head, okay a 1992 Cadillac Sedan Deville 90k he takes a look at it and says... How about 1,000 grand I say no way I can ebay it for double or closer to triple. Went inside to see the boss how about 1,500 I said naw, then he said okay I can do $1,933 so the car is an even 20,000 (plus tax etc.) I said thats fine... That is how I love to buy a car and play the game! I have been doing it since 1971 on my first Azteck Gold Bonneville Sedan! I wouldn't buy a car anyother way, three long hours later the car was mine! I find the car I want if it is not a good deal I work 'em over till I get what I want, or I walk. I don't just buy a car that has a good price. (I hate that! I won't settle for less!)

Good glad they got rid of that one it was the ugliest of all those new (2005) models. I liked the Pontiac and Buick most. The Buick will get axed once the Enclave comes out along with the Rainer and Rendevous. (Trimming models and selling more of one product make sense!) The Relay was ugly and I hardly ever say this about GM vehicles but it was a crummy van (just a rebadge and an after-thought)! Although the Chevy will prolly hang around a while but uhh I am kind of sad the SV6 went in the US because it was alot better looking than some of the others but in keeping with GM's trimming theme and Pontiac's sporty image, it HAD TO GO!

Hmmm there was the crew cab gold Tundra and I had no Silverado to compare it too, so I made one... Is it a good chop? The long bed and crew cab Silverado still look better than the ugly Toyota. I thought I did a good job actually.

Hey bud watch it I own a 2005 Bonneville SLE with 12,500 miles on it and just adore my car, even its interior. It is a little tighter than my Impala's but I love the air-ducts and the design of the interior its around the driver. Please save the dissing drive one and you will apperciate the car it has a very different personality about it. Thats why I LOVE mine, interior and all no matter how many buttons there are... What do you a Camri? *(J/K)*

They look darn nice, better than the Toyota Sienna still like the Odessey more. (Sorry I HATE THE UPLANDER, Terrza is okay!) But uh the shifter has to be the most ignorant thing I have ever seen, look at wrong spot it should just be a colum shift of a decent rally shift like Vibe, or Torrent has!

I think I am in love with the new CTS... Sweet looks big motor with power, and it will kill the STS! (Why would you buy it anymore?) The interior is fabulous look at the materials in there! Car and Driver won't even complain, I bet... (GM has the interior thing down better than Toyota, take that Toyota!) This car is going to be a crusher keep a fully loaded one under 45K and I would sprint to my Caddy dealer to get one. (Ahh maybe a DTS Performance Pack first!) The front end is very stylish a chip off the ol' sixteen (not a bad thing!) and the rear end and side profile look down right stunning. If GM can bring out this caliber of products they have nothing to be worried about in the way of car sales. The Malibu, Lucerne, Enclave, Camaro, CTS and Aura prove that too me!

Thanks for the comment I am glad it wasn't that bad. Guys I think having a V6 and two V8's a big n lil one is KEY! Orginally the top dawg might only come over to our shores but when production is moved to Canada alongside the Impala I would assume a V6 would be optional right? Isn't the RWD Impala going to be assemblied in Canada too along side the G8/Grand Prix/Bonneville (whatever)? Or am I wrong in saying that orginal production will be in Elizabeth and then move to Canada? Is that right? Anyone know this for sure? These were my photoshops (not bad for my first time. Also I took easy angles!). I used my Bonneville SLE/GXP kidneys and changed a few other things. Tell me what you think, I believe V6's will be important I think the models will be something like thise. SE 3.6L VVT or 3.9L VVT 5spd auto. GT 5.3L AFM V8 6spd auto, or 6spd stick GXP 6.0L AFM V8 6spd auto, or 6spd stick PS: Wont there first year or so be produced in Elizabeth and then moved to Canada were the current GP is build? Because then a RWD Impala will be built alongside of it right? Oh and name wise... BONNEVILLE! (Grand Prix won't be bad either cept that was most always until '90 when a 4door came it was only 2door)

Those are the offical GM images. The previous images were from Pontiac and not the best quality. Clearly the photography wasn't tottally blind. I really like this thing... Best looking Torrent and better looking that the Torrent (regular) Equniox/Equniox SS. This is the really sharp black computer generated image off of Pontiac's site. I used my screen print trick for this one! (Hard catching it tho cause they rotate them!) Enjoy guys... Now I have to decide on my next vehicle... Pre-owned Cadillac DTS (under 10,000 miles) Pre-owned (maybe new) Saab 9-5 Sport Combi (under 10,000 miles again if pre-owned) 2008 Buick Enclave CX FWD 2008 Pontiac Torrent GXP 2006/2007 Buick Lucerne CXL V6 or V8 (hopefully N*!) But my wife wants and SUV and I would assume the Torrent would be cheaper than the Enclave with the same motor and tranny... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... What would you do guys?

Tundra and Camry are improved products, but GM has revolutionized the Aura and Silverado! GO GM, do enjoy the party and be ready for the Tundra you guys go it tho! The Aura suprised but the Camry isn't that great and they have had SO MANY issues with quality. (Very un Toyota!) This is GM's time! New-Camaro, Silverado, Volt, Enclave, Grand Prix, and Malibu! I think GM is getting there mojo back even with biased media still they took the crown!

Nope the interior is NO better than the GMT-900's and the nav is placed well outta site. Also the truck fuel economy is very bad, and Toyota buyers like good mpg. The trucks front in looks smashed in, and also the its a Toyota. I think most people still prefer American trucks. Toyota is just figuring out E85 is taking off... Haha GM has been doing that for trucks/suvs since 2000!

I have one word. Sweet I like this as much as I did the new DTS 2 years ago!

I love it! I want mine in red jewel or white in FWD please. I don't think I want the SS Equinox anymore! But there still is the Enclave! Fly-why are those photos so bad? I they tend to be better most of the time. Nothing is on the Wieck yet either.

I was bored today and getting tired of the Cadillac DTS Performance I had on my desktop in silver so... I made this! I like the front half of it the trunk shape and profile is werid. From a straight on back shot it is cool. This would kill the Prius I am glad GM is working on a very fuel efficent vehicle. Now I wanna see the new CTS, Grand Prix and Malibu in SS trims! Toyota is pissing there pants!

The T-Type was given to both the Regal and GN. There was no GNX T-Type b/c the T-top added to much weight.

Anyone know what the deal is? I always slide in the back door by putting in the exact URL and changing my search option for the vehicle. It worked just last night and now today I go to search my computer tells me its not loading for various reasons. Have they locked or changed the URL? Or our the doing maintance? Or I am out'a luck? Anyone know? Thanks for any help.

I have noticed the exact same thing. Many rental cars with the bar code tag in the back window and the "E" gives it aways. I saw TONS of new Camry's more than I did G6's and Impalas!

Cadillac I repeat needs the DTS! I know that current DTS buyers die off, but what happens when this generation after there still may be a market for the car. I personally believe the STS should be dropped, and the SLS sold as the 7 Series beater. Let the DTS stay in the middle with a full redesign and a new large FWD frame. **I will stick up for the G-platform it is wonderful and drives very nice too!*** Also give a 6spd auto and come out with all these CTS's and just drop the STS keep everything as is. The DTS outsells the STS 3 to 1!
