  1. Congrats! This is what happens when I am busy... Cool stuff happens! That is a GREAT car, and should go 250K no problem, I do have one question, is she rust free?
  2. Chevrolet and Pontiac had very good months. Pontiac's becaues of people snatching up the great deals and G8 GT/GXP's. Malibu, Equinox, Traverse all had very good months very important for GM. I will be interested to see how the new Cruze does. The Camaro could not have done any better, think if the ECONOMY were good, how many would have sold!
  3. This car is a REAL head turner. I really don't care anymore that it is 300-500lbs to fat.
  4. Honestly I love it. I will actually consider it when I go shopping for another FWD four door sedan someday. Just as I did with the Enclave but was priced way out of reach for me, when I got the Torrent. At roughly 32K I would consider a stripper CXL FWD with a FEW extra's. A base CX with alloy wheels would be fine as well but rest assured I will not drive one with a four banger. The 3.0L would have enough power, but needs every pony it has to pull a 4,000 sedan around. Another 50 lbft. of torque would fix that. I am not a typical "Buick" buyer but with Pontiac gone and always prefering them over Chevrolet this might be an option either new (if I can get a few rebates) or pre-driven like my SLE. If I was sedan shopping it would be a LaCrosse CXL FWD or a Malibu 2LT.
  5. Looks great with chrome wheels and pearl paint GMT! I just like the "lines" on the G6.
  6. I am glad it is giving some part of GM something to celebrate. They need as much of that as they can get right now. I like the wagon more than the sedan!
  7. Congrats good luck with you new Mopar! I am glad you could take lemons and make lemonade.
  8. No problems after nearly a week. They look good, I will give you the REAL feedback after my 2,000 family vacation! The wiper motor was just toast and a new one was put in. Working good again. I think just the rears even on a G6 would look nice. GMTruckGuy I'd do a photoshop for you but my good PC with CS3 on it, is currently getting shipped to Dell to fix a crack in the plastic.
  9. Not a bad month. Not bad at all. Malibu and Impala sales were very good as well! Hopefully there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
  10. When I get one or my son it will be white. That is the best color.
  11. Also saw a 1971-1972 Chevelle SS 454 with Cragar S/S mags it was black with white SS stripes. It was sweet!
  12. 1970 Dodge Super Bee, it was SWEET and in MINT condition. C3 Riverside Gold Corvette Coupe and it was nearly perfect as well.
  13. This should be for AMERICAN cars only as well.
  14. I have been using Meg's Clay Bar Kit and Meg's Gold Class. I do have some Turtle Wax Ice and compared to Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax it doesn't come close. If you want a good wax and don't want to break the bank Gold Class is the best stuff. I have tried NXT 2.0 and found it didn't last as long nor did I like it as much personally.
  15. That Bonneville SSEi makes me mad. I loved the green/tan combo as well! I thought they always got better fuel economy.
  16. Mint silver final generation Buick Roadmaster Sedan... At the local TOYOTA dealer, I am so PISSED. I came home swearing everyword in the book...
  17. Great looking car! Congrats wish it was mine!
  18. Actually I think tinted windows on sedans look bad-a$$ but have never done it on any of mine.
  19. I know I couldn't believe the difference. I didn't know on the Vue the skipped the two rear door, interesting.
  20. Well thank you very much sir. The house is finally getting close to where we would like it. It is miss another car stall or two...
  21. 35% is that legal in your state? That would be double mine and SUPER dark. I think it would look good on your Dodge!
  22. It really does have a more "premium" and not stripped look. The Purple Haze/Chrome Wheels/Tip and tinted windows work well on her I think! And yes it was a 15% which is according to them is the standard SUV/Minivan tint. It was actually $185 without tax and it still was slightly under two hundered with tax. I was pleased to say the least, they did A GREAT job upon inspection.
  23. That was EXACTLY my our idea. My wife also didn't like walking into a warm car after work! Well my son has just waxed both the 2005's and will be doing the Torrent before the week is over. Also the '01 will get a wash and wax before we leave, end of next week. And yes the yard looks good, I'll get one of the other side and the retaining wall. The back is NEXT summer.
  24. I love that thing Mr. Jacket! Great choice! Hope everything goes well with 'er congrats!
  25. Well thanks guys. It is a 15% SUV/Minivan style tint on the windows behind the front doors only. Very close to what they did from the factory, and it was only $185 pre-tax with a lifetime warrenty.
