  2. GM I'm betting on '96 Fleetwood IIRC I've seen them with unpadded vinyl tops and can't think of anything newer other than choo-choo customs... & the like even saw late er model Camrays done up.
  3. Exactly!
  4. Thanks the only thing I find distasteful is the width of the full sized cars in OZ us fat butts(myself included) in the states find that measurement more of a mid size than full
  5. So in your opinion how does it compare to a DTS? The tranny sounds like a programing snafu but could be a hardware (shift solenoids or valves). Detroit could source a nav sys. & do they have on* in OZ? Your opinion would be of value as you have seen & ridden (I would think) in both. Just wondering if it has the stuff that the Wreath would need on this Continent.
  6. LWB back doored as Law Enforcement hopefully with possible Sgt-Mjr interior upgrades as in the past 91-96 Caprice. Many were sold to our City only to be used for City Commissioners court officers other Dept.Directors ect...

  11. Thanx PCS I saw on here in Dayton before they got crushed & they were fast. The commercials reminded me of Pixars Wallie(sp) and something to do with the X Files (the truth is out there), the last one I think was a JOKE as the font was off & clearer than the words above the year. I kinda always thought that they looked like Citron's from the back kinda Saturn in front. I'd like one for a diesel project actually.
  12. If one were to buy a car back from the Gov. how would they know how much to charge that was only a credit and no one has done this yrs taxes yet. Also ChryCo's match would effectively have been the Gov.'s money and then you could've paid $9k+ to get that car. The program was rubbish and ill thought then mismanaged all at the expence of future sales & as said before at a cost to even my 14mo old granddaughter..
  13. +1 Ditto on the Congrats
  14. I take that it's a part-time unit then
  15. I would change the gear oil in the front diff & transfer case if it uses it or the proper ATF . Just my certified :twocents: fwiw. They all have seen the same mileage & abuse plus the big BANG. Lets get the debris out of the units.
  16. On the way to church today out of nowhere there was a 1933 or later Lasalle coupe with side mounts in dropdead black It must have been going to Carillon Historical Park for the concurs de elegance show. I jockeyed around it for over 1.5mi & 4 traffic lights man what a car, was thinking of Bathy on this one still smiling 14hrs later.
  17. This shows the sad state of driving in this country of lately. This family would be alive today if the driver would have just turned the ignition off. The government has relaxed the requirements allowing 15.5 year olds to get a temp lic & without even taking the laws test.

  19. Maybe tough love but your her father ya can't disown .
  20. Yeah I like the Trofieo's like yours I saw them @ Mid Ohio racing in GTP class shooting flames ducking into the chicanes. I loved it an Old's being campaigned.
  21. True I think that the last of the Deville's were the very last. I like them and they are GREEN (supposed to lower the drag coefficient) Oops I think that Volt gets them oooooooh a new old trend
  22. Who had a V8 first Chevy or Ford if you said the blue oval then you loose (in more than one way) 1917 Chevrolet Series D V-8 click here http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1917-chevrol...eries-d-v-8.htm I've seen one of them at Super Chevy Indy many years back so for what it's worth I've touched one
  23. I used to listen to America's Trucking Network on THE BIG ONE 700 WLW AM (America's station) Cincinnati, & the truckers swore by their fuel additive when they HAD to switch to the low sulfur diesel FWIW
