  1. You may want to test drive a Cruze diesel as well. It is always good to have options and the Cruze is easily forgotten since GM does nothing to advertise it. Agree, after testing a Cruze Diesel and the VW TDI, I would take the cruze over the TDI. Awesome car.
  2. Wait for the Duramax Diesel 4 bangers for the mid size trucks. I think this will be the best solution for you over the diesel Bug.
  3. Wonder if that tapioca stuff is spider eggs since you have cobwebs.
  4. Did an update get done to the site? Seems the home page has changed from what it used to be, I now have to go to community to get to Forums and nothing shows up under the View New Content. Plus since I paid my membership to help support the site, I seem to be getting more advertisements and popups. Which is fine as I want to support the site and keep it going but the popups at the bottom of the screen are annoying.
  5. Waste of R&D Dollars, Kill off Scion and focus the money on Toyota and Lexus and bring on the quality and performance through those two brands.
  6. If the engine lives on as a solid v8 Beast and does not end up as a warranty nightmare for Chrysler than this will be a legacy that last. I really hope it is the quality it deserves and last as the Car Guys need this break to bring innovation back to the auto industry rather than Bean Counters dictating vanilla bland cars.
  7. I have to disagree. The Impala really is a larger Malibu. They are almost identical in every way except price and size. $h!.. They should have just called one Malibu and the other Malibu-L combined the sales and been done with it. Either way I have been told that the SS and Impala may be merging in a few years anyway with the latter name being put on a RWD/AWD setup. Time will tell. Malibu cannot have Accord type sales if it has to share customers divided by 3 different cars. If a customer wants a large, mid-sized or coupe car at Honda (331K YTD).. They buy an Accord. If they want the same from Chevy they have a choice between the Impala or SS(large), Malibu (mid), Camaro (Coupe) (353K YTD) I didn't even include SS's almost 3K sales. Do my best. Change of Resonator will be tomorrow with before (just Flowmasters) and after (with Flowmasters and Resonator removed) Youtube video COOL, Look forward to the video so we can hear your awesome ride! Nice Hummer by the way! I love them!
  8. Good write up, clearly shows itself as a solid commuter car for those needing to control costs. Thanks for the review.
  9. That is awesome news. Appreciate the updates on your project! Looking forward to some pictures when you have time.
  10. YOU ROCK! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Have a great day FEARLESS LEADER!!!
  11. Performance is cool, car is nice looking but I have to agree with Balthazar, it is showing it's age.
  12. Very excited as I know many find the current GM system dated and hard to use. Excited to see this.
  13. Yet the statistics show the Maxima and Cadenza to not be as big as the Regal and the 3 series, TSX and MKZ sure do not have the room with only average quality, average materials.
  14. So do you think they are just trying to get a bit extra profit for the auto then and if it does not sell well they can say see no one wanted these type of auto's under the Buick name plate.
  15. My Father Loves the XTS also but he likes the soft float rides so there is a group who prefers these auto's still. I would never snub my nose at driving either one if given to me.
  16. Proving that there is a limited need by the service industry for full size vans.
  17. This makes sense to have a full portfolio of CUV's with the way the US is currently consuming them. Pictures make it a nice looking Station wagon. Seems Volvo is pulling a page from Subaru in regards to having cross functional products. Guess we will see more of these on the passes in AWD form to get one to and from the ski resorts.
  18. I think the power and interior is right on for this category and competition. GM needs to work on the pricing issue. One wonders how much of this auto is really built here compared to importing from Europe which has much higher costs.
  19. Room, comfort and trunk space come directly to mind. The CTS is a bit cramped inside, especially the back seat. Size and space all depends on the size of the people. On my wife's side which is Korean, both the CTS and XTS are huge and have plenty of space and then you have their size which for the family is on average 5' tall. Yet on my side of the family, the average person is 6' tall a foot taller and makes a big difference. Course both auto's while nice are just too small for my 6'6" tall frame and I used to own a CTS.
  20. If the EPA would do away with the stupid estimates and fictional assumption testing and do real world testing it would be far more accurate and better for everyone. Real World Testing should have the Following: 5 Mile Highway testing 5 mile stop and go highway testing 5 mile city driving testing A 35 mph 5 mile test drive A 70 mph 5 mile test drive This should give a good real world MPG testing. What else do you think should be tested for real world test MPG?
  21. We'll first look is NOT IMPRESSIVE and VERY 1990's! Surprised that they would do full size vans when the market has shrunk so much to pretty much be a Service sector market.
  22. The federal government should step in and update to 21st century ways to sell things.
