  1. Yes I agree that some one will lose, but then technology we have today was not around when these out of date laws went into affect. As such, the politicians who are supposed to work for the public need to update and change for the public not the unions or business special interests.
  2. Here (Seattle Washington USA) we have both indoor and outdoor tracks. Since Seattle has rain 9 months of the year many stick to the indoor tracks. Over all I find it pretty reasonable and a great family building activity. http://www.k1speed.com/seattle-location.html Lots of fun for everyone. $6 for your annual license and training, then $19.99 for 14 laps. They do have custom packages. Another Indoor Track - http://www.traxxracing.com/ Yet some of us also like the real world outdoor tracks where you do have to deal with the rain and the slick track conditions. http://pacificgp.com/ Pacific GP has what I consider one of the best outdoor tracks around. They also have wet weather clothing and helmets that you can use. Here is their pricing info: Non-Member PricingNot a member yet? 3. Welcome, great having you. Always good to have folks join and talk about their passion on auto's.
  4. Welcome, Great to have you join us. What is your favorite type of auto, brand, color, etc?
  5. Awesome thread! I would totally encourage my kid, this is no more dangerous than any other physical sport. I would be all supportive of them driving a go cart, riding a dirt bike, etc. In some ways I can see this building responsibility faster in a youth due to what can happen with a motorized product.
  6. Welcome JulianWillams, Please check in at the New Member checkin thread and tell us a little about yourself. Welcome.
  7. No, I do not think so, for those that already drive full size trucks and SUV's in the absence of a Hybrid version they will get new auto's but for more and more people, I truly see a trend to go to higher mileage hybrids, alternative fuels like CNG or electric. Marketing has won in changing the minds of many that want their AWD or 4x4 but in Hybrid or alternative fuel form.
  8. With Electric Motors being very strong, Diesels are not the way to go as I once thought. Too little too late. Auto's that are driven by electric motors and have gas or CNG powered generators for long distance driving is the future.
  9. More design in the VOLT / Bolt than the Bland Tesla. The only Tesla that has some style is their CUV if they ever deliver it to market and even then it is still bland. Tesla is the Electronic version of Honda. Safe, Conservative and blahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  10. Glad to have you join, look forward to your comments and participation.
  11. Pass, This is a very bland non inspiring auto on the outside and the inside while nice clearly is built for a small person. I see how tight the gas pedal is to the huge center stack. I wish auto companies would get over this center stack blow up to be a huge island and curve into your leg eating up valuable leg space and comfort. Nice interior but I have reservations till I sit in the car. Exterior is a bland pass. Not impressed at all.
  12. This is just like all the coupe style MB auto's with short deck lids. You should love it no matter what since they praise MB by building a coupe short deck auto.
  13. Blah, Bland, just Mehhhh when walking by. Reminds me of all the bland Nissan Cars. I think the buying public will thumb their nose at this one.
  14. Very impressive Buick. Love it all except for the coupe look. I like the more traditional sedan look.
  15. Thanks Drew, this is SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHH better looking than the BMW I3 or what ever BMW is calling their electric auto.
